So everyone that felt so good by calling me a scammer yesterday well I'm the one that got scammed. The guy took my money and said it would be instant, then he gets the money and 2 hours go by I still had nothing, so he tells me it would be 8 hours. Well that was at 7am it's now 1045 am and now he's claiming his paypal account is locked. Just one excuse after another. But thanks for slandering me when one of your own did it to me. I made a deal with  him to buy up to 5 btc for 230 a piece. And he wanted me to send all at once, I said no I'll send in a couple of payments. So I sent him 275 the first time, and told him after I received the first portion then I would send two more payments as I would just split them in half. Shows how smart he is since he was going to scam me the whole time he would have had over $100.00 more. Just so this is very clear here's the photo of the recipient from the 1 and only payment I sent him and he just stole from me. I just copied and pasted it actually, but some of you HAD to see my wallet address and I had just dust in it last night and you can see its the same now and that nothing was received. Oh and yes my bitcoin address is on the receipt and that is the only address of mine he had. So that's so nice I come here and post the first thing I had ever posted, get treated like shit, then I get scammed for the first time in 3 1/2 years of being in bitcoin. I know you all were routing on me as the scammer, but maybe next time treat the next new person with a little class and give them a chance.

I'm sorry to offend you but I'm very far from a scammer. I just sold 17 bitcoins yesterday and it WAS ALL PayPal. If you don't have dealings with me please don't try to ruin my reputation without trying me first. I just got done writing a extremely large sub in reddit explaining my frustration with scammers, hacks and thieves that are ruining this amazing and wonderful development that was handed over to us in January 2009. Also I can show you my information on the Bitcoin Foundation. But I just ask that you please don't claim I'm something that I am not. That is not fair. Just because I'm new doesn't mean I'm a bad person!!! You guys were not always established here either. I'm here to make friends and treat people in a professional manner!!! I will get references to clear this up. Thank you

Oh my god... don't do this, guys. Just don't. This has all the hallmarks and red flags of an impending disaster.

5 btc. That's a lot of money. Love your coins, guys. Lest they fall in the wrong hands.

"I just got done writing a extremely large sub in reddit explaining my frustration with scammers, hacks and thieves that are ruining this amazing and wonderful development that was handed over to us in January 2009."

If you are TRULY and REALLY frustrated, then you should not be using PAYPAL at all! That's hypocrisy and a pathetic contradiction at it's very worst!

No offense buddy but being in TBF is not going to add to your credibility (even though you are lying about it).

If you really have so much money then why don't you use cash to buy bitcoin instead of paypal, which charges ridiculous amounts of fees?

I don't even know what u are talking about. But this is such a joke. This is the exact reason I have not become a member here Until now. I have done nothing to deserve this treatment, plus I'm not even selling to you guys. I know this is going to mean absolutely nothing to you guys. But I'm 35. I went to med school while having a second major in physics. I left college 3 years from being a heart surgeon because I had an opportunity to buy a Ford dealership. And I sold that and I'm RETIRED. I don't need to steal anything, EVER. So go ahead say what you want But I would be ashamed of myself if I were you guys for giving someone new a chance. Funny how this topic just came up in a meeting for Bitcoin Foundation. I hope I don't need to explain what that topic was about, but for a hint it was how bad the members of the bitcoin community in general treat one another. Thanks for giving me a perfect, prime example that I can show as an example. Quite disappointing to see this. No wonder no one new wants to start in bitcoin. And honestly our biggest challenge, after we clean up all these thieves, hacks and scammers, will be to get the general public behind us. I hate to tell you guys but the general public would never even give bitcoin a chance, the way you are treating me, and I'm far from new. 3 years and 5 months But how would you know that, you never gave me a chance. It's ok others did and I'm happy, not for the coins as I have enough personally but I'm happy I don't have to come back to this post and see something slanderous being said about me. So when you guys are wondering why bitcoin is so unstable, it's not all your fault but your roll is just about as big in it as the thief and scammers. So I want to actually thank you I'm picking these up as cheap as I am cause without you I couldn't have done it. Have a great night.

That's fine guys I have 6 other people right now selling to me, and one being helpful with exchanging paypal if I needed to. I don't know why this is such an issue to you. Do u not have anything better to do than get all over me. I can't help it I got bum rushed with paypal for the last 1750.00 I sold. I don't take it unless it's a buyer that has been buying for a very long time. I'm not buying from you. Which is too bad so you can see I'm as honest as there is. (Sure there will be a comment about that) but I can't win with you guys. So please I'm asking nicely to leave me alone. I have never done anything negative to you guys so why are you being like this to me.

Scammer 101: use a variant of the paragraph above. Seen it hundreds of times.

And the response below... just more self-grave digging from Scammer 101. /yawn

'Verified' PPUSD does not mean live DNA, fingerprint, retinal scan are verified upon every login, so they may as well be saying 'this account is stolen'. PayPal almost always sides with scammers (including convicted financial criminals) who "hack" their own accounts, with effectively no time limit.

LOL. Actually TXID 17475ecea058b0a04b7382eb344f7f0dc0c913bbee7cac66367a9cf5b2bebf70 is a TX that the above address used inputs for a tx. One of the addresses that it sent to is tagged as being an address to receive a-ads revenue, therefore I would conclude the address you posted belongs to a-ads

As to @applesryummy I really don't know why you are being mean to me about this. I know this proves nothing by just posting this address of mine but it's a Android 4.0 HD wallet that Andreas developed. Also which I helped test, I'm sure that's going to be an issue to you. But here's the address 1AV8WZ3MzePTBUgkWVajextzajW2oXm3yX
-snip-
Can you sign a message from the above address? This is also ignoring the fact that the above address did not receive 17 BTC yesterday.
And about my mobile HD wallet there's only like 7000 Satoshi in it. Send me 20k Satoshi to that address and see that it's in there and I'll return it as soon as u verify that you can visually see it confirmed in that wallet.
I don't think it would be a good idea to give you money just to try to confirm that you actually control a particular address. There isn't anything that would stop you from just keeping the funds even if you did control it.

Thank you @TookDk for being more sincere about your comment. As to @applesryummy I really don't know why you are being mean to me about this. I know this proves nothing by just posting this address of mine but it's a Android 4.0 HD wallet that Andreas developed. Also which I helped test, I'm sure that's going to be an issue to you. But here's the address 1AV8WZ3MzePTBUgkWVajextzajW2oXm3yX I Opened that wallet October 8th +/- a day, and it's on my one tablet. It has had 54 or 55 btc gone through it. You can see very clearly I sold 2, 2, 4, 2.1 and .09 out of it along with some smaller amounts. I'm sorry I guess I wasn't 100% clear as my partner I have in business that I own the 106 btc/doge/lite faucets with, his screen name is Baljourn, I sold 4 for him and I sold another 2 from my other partner in a lot of projects, Justin the bot_guru, owner of bottingcenter.com now socialcoinwallet.com, and many other ventures. This is so wrong that I have to defend myself over this. You know if you think about it from my outlook, what about me, I don't know but few people here and they are all sr.members, hero members or full members, so they are not buying from me. So that leaves a whole ton of people I have no idea who are Too. This is really sad that bitcoin forums have gotten to this point, bitcoin was developed to help each and everyone that walks on this planet. It was designed to make life better and easier for all of us. NOT this. Im sorry you choose not to do business with me, but please don't accuse me of doing nothing wrong. And about my mobile HD wallet there's only like 7000 Satoshi in it. Send me 20k Satoshi to that address and see that it's in there and I'll return it as soon as u verify that you can visually see it confirmed in that wallet. Or not I know my business, charater and ethics. Just a shame this is how our world is, basically I'm guilty until I prove I'm innocent. basically you are saying to me I'm lower than dirt without even knowing me, that's wrong. I guess what you are saying is Gavin Anderson talks to low life's and has them on committees within the Foundation. I don't know I'm not arguing about this I just wanted to join here finally because the couple people I know here wanted me to join but I was afraid that I would be treated like this. Guess what first post I make and look at what's happening. Thanks a lot and I hope you have a nice day. Enjoy the SuperBowl if you are watching it tonight.

I highly doubt that he will be able to sign a message with an address that received 17 BTC yesterday. If he had said he just purchase 17 BTC it would be more likely that he looks on a block explorer like blockchain.info for an address that matches that description and either only give an address or provide a signed message but the signature will not match.

Similarly likely the OP will probably make some kind of excuse as to why he cannot sign a message. Does anyone want to bet that he says something along the lines of 'it was deposited to an exchange address' ?

No offense taken. But you must understand that this place is swarming with scammers, so when someone with 0 active post with a PP trade, then goes all the alarm bells off.
If you have a legit business then is there nothing to worry about, then just build up trust.

If your are serious about doing business here, then will I recommend you to post the tx id's for transactions (17 BTC), to document that you are actually doing business.

Signing an appropriate message with the receiving addy will certainly help help your business too:
