Coinbase makes it very easy for people in the USA. Otherwise, there's always Localbitcoins. If I were wiring money to an exchange.... Bitstamp.  However, I prefer to trade on BTC-E.

Being in the USA make it so much easier, because you spoiled for choice.  Grin {I would go with Bitstamp or Coinbase}

And if you not certain, you could "test" buy in smaller portions. {To see if you like the service and response} before you buy more. Or just spread it between the two, to devide the risk.

But those two are very reliable according to me and some of my friends.  Grin

Please report back here, and share with us, when you decided, and what you experienced. {Feedback}

Stick with Coinbase or Bitstamp
If you don't mind wasting some time, localbitcoins but buyers here typically pay a 3-7% premium to buy coins

I have used LBC many times, and I agree with you. It is very time consuming. Seemed like whenever your available to complete a trade, no new trades are opened. But once your at work or busy, you have multiple new trades opened your unavailable to complete them. Which sucks...

For coinbase and bitstamp exchanges, I have not used. I am going to look into their services.

Thanks everyone for the suggestion's so far.

I did not mention this yet. I'm located in the USA

My advice is to use Bitstamp, it's one of the most trusted and secure exchanges, and the few times I had an issue, the assistance was awesome.

coinbase works well for me. If you set visa credit card as backup for bounced checks then you can get btc instant but only instant if you have the visa setup. If not takes 4 days for the transfer to clear.
