Hi everyone,

I am an entrepreneur (3 startups) and a Technical Product Manager with extensive experience in building innovative authentication, identity, and digital payment solutions. As a co-founder of multiple startups, I have a proven track record of driving product development from concept to launch.

I'm eager to transition into the Bitcoin industry, where I aim to apply my skills. My personal experience with buying and holding Bitcoin, learning and researching mining, following experts like Jeff Booth, Ben Perrin, Gary Cardone, Mark Moss and others has fueled my passion for bitcoin technology.

Does anyone have advice on how to start working in this space? I'm open to part-time consulting roles to start, with a long-term goal of contributing full-time to a forward-thinking Bitcoin company.

Any advice is much appreciated! Thank you!
Wih any job or any career or any industry you are about to enter, it is always best to start with doing your resume. Introduce yourself, put all your strengths there, your experience and skills to offer. Then just apply in different places and see where that leads you. I am sure you will meet plenty of people that could offer you jobs in crypto related fields.

I'm not sure what are the "Bitcoin industry" you mean because Bitcoin itself is a non-profit project, so do you want to work without get paid? just relying on donation.

Your best chance might working on centralized exchanges or payment processors.

I think when it comes to jobs, there are more opportunity if you're working for altcoins project, although the risk you can get scammed or get paid with worthless coins.

You have to take it easy and first try to learn first because if you are new to bitcoin, there is of course still many things for you to learn because even if you know other things, your knowledge may not apply here and a reason you need to first learn from people who know better about bitcoins from this forum. If you look to transition with your pride into Bitcoin, you may end up not learning enough and you can be scammed because of the danger you put yourself due to incomplete knowledge.
Probably everyone goes into a job without exactly knowing everything.

It’s okay because people learn as they work. It’s a process of learning all throughout your career that makes you a better employee. I think a lot of companies would be eager to hire someone who is not too proud to admit his mistakes and learn from them.

If you are smart and have special skills, you can apply for it in the IT department, especially in keeping exchanges stolen by thieves and you know exchanges are very large pools and are still seen as weak by them.

If you do it well and correctly then many people will feel safe and comfortable putting their money to invest and trade on the exchange. A lot of money will come in where you work. Don't be like the case of Bitforex which has not been clear until now and is still not accessible until now.

Obviously you can start with basically advertising yourself.

Starting here in forum, you can post about yourself and your services that you are willing to offer. That is if you want almost a freelancing job. But if you want to be contract-based and you want to work in a proper company then you should seek out companies who are related to crypto. I say good luck in all your endeavors!

You can start with the "Careers" section of many exchanges website where they've got tons of openings and depending on the role that suits you. The qualifications are there and the steps on how to apply is there. Actually, there's really no difference at all when you're trying to land a job in the Bitcoin/crypto industry with the convention or traditional jobs that you are applying for. I can't say if there are a lot of roles that are for part time but start out with the known exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, etc.
