All kind of things can happen and the worse is that for example the casino where you invested your bitcoins is hit by a big whale winning a very big jackpot. In this situation the casino faces 2 options which is paying the whale and continue operating or don't pay the whale and run away with all users money collected so far and soon after to open a new casino kinda like ponzi schemes. I think trusted casinos so far which even if they will be hit by a big whale they will continue operating are crypto games and betking.

I'd say it's more of a judgement call on where to invest.

For example, a new site can be prime to invest in if you only have a small amount to invest, as they won't have as many investors yet, so you can make more profit. Another example of being ok to invest in a new casino site is if the new site was opened by a trusted owner, for example, moneypot.com, which was opened by RHavar, who is trusted in the bitcointalk community. When it was new, I invested there and was one of the first investors, and I made a nice profit due to being one of the first investors when the bankroll was still small. Now, it's harder to make a profit with a small investment, due to the bigger bankroll.

I totally understand cause i am also one of the starting investor when the MP was just being bought over. However, it is not nice to always judge by the size of the bankroll. Usually small bankroll will mean that the site is still new and yet to establish the reputation. A lot of these casino are very risky to invest as you can lose everything if they just ran away. On the other hand, like what you have said, the rewards are also extremely nice.

Definitely it is better but sometimes we also lose in trading, like what happened to me, I have bought some LIR at 1,000 sats but suddenly the price drop down hard and I am waiting for it now to rise again, I mean patiently to recover and make profit.
