I stand with Ukraine.
I can't remember the specific date but I could remember it was on a Sunday after I have attended morning mass. I had the money that someone gave me to give to a customer of mine about $300. My friends came around and as usual, we went to the casino to have fun. The $40 that I budgeted to gamble with was exhausted and I decided to use $20 from the $300 with me,since I will be able to replace it. To my poor understanding on gambling after I lost that,I allowed my emotion to control me and I decided to stake to win back my loss. This why how chasing my loss drained all the $300 that was for someone. It was a bad experience for me and I learnt a hard lesson from it.

Man, if you've learned your lesson from it, and you will never do something like this in your life, that was a cheap lesson, I'd say, and you must be happy about it. A $300 debt is not something that can ruin your life, isn't it. But now you know that you shouldn't risk the money that don't belong to you. This knowledge may save you from much bigger troubles in the future, and not necessarily connected to gambling either. It's great that such a good lesson cost you that little.

What matters most is we learned from our mistakes and we will be not repewt what happen so that we will not lose again. But the thing is, I wonder how he can play does minors are allowed in his area to play? Everyone has their mistakes, some will learn and some will still do the same, in gambling it is very fun to gamble and to play but we need to have discipline in our own self so that we will not be addicted.
We don't need to question it because it could be that the law in his country is different in our country, where minors cannot freely play gambling even though they can still gamble secretly.

We have made mistakes before and may make more mistakes in the future. But as long as we learn from those mistakes, we will not repeat the same mistakes. And even if we make other mistakes in the future, it will be different and add more experience to us so that we can learn more and not make serious mistakes later.

It's the same as me, even I don't only use my school savings from pocket money and also use school payment money to gamble, but that's dark youth, always make stories of the past as experiences and it won't be possible to repeat them in the future, the more my adult remembers that incident as the unlucky day i lost $100 on losing a football bet, that's why it will be remembered forever.

You are not alone because I think that everyone has experienced defeat and lost money in their youth, but always use that defeat as a lesson because the more we remember and we are saddened by it, it won't help to return everything either.

Mine wasn't at a time, it was a gradual loose. It was during my high school.
The year was 2018 and it was soccer game. I used my school fees ($200) to place a bet on EPL. I didn't use the whole money at once. I was using it bit by bit and before i could realise what was happening, i have used all and i had to use part of my rent to bet again because i was looking for closure which i never find.
You wouldn't want to know how i felt because till now each time i remember the lost i feel terribly bad about it

But Do You Have losses In Gambling That Still Haunts You Until This Day like you could have bought a new car with that loss
Probably the most memorable betting loss in my betting history occurred on 10 December 2017 during the Southampton vs Arsenal match.
At that time he was addicted to parlay.
The amount of the bet was not big, but of the 10 matches I chose, it was the Soton vs Arsenal match that would determine whether I could buy a motorbike if I exchanged it with my country's currency.

At that time I just needed Arsenal to win. When Austin scored a quick goal around 3 minutes, resigned that the bet had been lost. In fact, in the 88th minute Arsenal made it 1-1 thanks to Giroud's goal. Immediately enthusiasm peaked again because Arsenal's chances of winning were quite large in the final 5 minutes of the game.

After that incident, parlay no longer interested me.

I will not ask how you overcome or deal with it but the year and amount or a figure and on what game
But I need to convey this moment because it's hard to forget how hope is lost when it's right in front of our eyes.

I can remember most of my wins but not of my losses because it truly is haunting if I'll still got those in my mind. Well but if I try to remember them, they're not really much as I'm not a hardcore gambler. Unlike those that I'm seeing in here that they've got a lot to lose and they're okay with it since they're determined gamblers.

We've got the same situation because I cannot really remember exactly what happened or when did that happened even if I wanted to recall the specifics on purpose so that I can post it here or share it in a different situation, it's just that all is just vague to me. But I know that when I had those big losses in the past, it really haunted me in the first few couple of nights, it's like my brain is having a re-do on the very same situation so that I can move on to it quickly.
It's good if you two don't have the haunting experience of defeat because it will make us unable to move on from that defeat and will always be in the shadows. We may also have the desire to recover from that defeat, but the more we try, the more defeats we will experience. So we should try to forget about it and think it's part of gambling because other people have suffered bigger losses than us. We control our brains, and even if we have experienced big losses in the past, we should be able to move on from them, even if it takes time.

We all suffer from gambling losses because this is how things are you win some lose a lot and we have to be responsible for all our actions while we are playing

It happen that I had money for my annual computer training with me, but my friends and I had a habit of trying to increase any quick money we came across through gambling. We would place single bets on "sure games" where strong teams played against weaker teams, and if the odds were in our favor, we would win something good to buy drinks. I placed a bet on one such game and won with odds of 1.34. I was excited about my success, I told my friend, who then introduced me to a prediction group that shared "sure games." However, my first bet with the group resulted in a loss, and instead of stopping I still went ahead, I took a risk and lost everything I had on me, the profit was gone and the computer training fee vanish as well.

The moral of this story is that, all sportsbook lovers should know that there are no guaranteed wins in sports betting. The picks offered by the claimed sure games are simply predictions, which may turn out to be either successful or unsuccessful and what they usually post are the winning games, they don't post their lost games and lastly, believe on your instinct, don't fall for sweet talks from what people say.

When it comes to very bad or worst losses then i cant really think off on a specific one due to lots of experience on such matter.Yes, it could give out some temporal situation which you would really be that thinking up f or how many hours or even days. This would really be testing out your emotions but on the time that you are already getting used to it then you wouldnt mind much on which one you would really be thinking.
You could just easily move on and just like there's nothing happened since you've been numb into this kind of situation.lol

I did remember one though

I don't feel haunted by my losses. But I still remember some crazy red streaks on roulette (22 times without red, I didn't have balance for the next bet), crazy sports parlays where I got busted for one game or one goal, to not mention dices and limbo, and I guess slots are also a special category! But all that doesn't matter, I tested my luck with the money I had and I lost... unlucky day or night. Those who gamble for real know that we are in constant up & down mode, and we had many lucky and unlucky sessions in the past, but because we like to gamble we will try it again... and I am sure that we are aware of our chances! Smiley

I will try some slots later... last night I wasn't so lucky, so maybe tonight will be my night!

You can feel in your words that you do not lose hope of winning. In my opinion this is the right approach, because a black streak is always followed by a white one and we will all be very lucky someday.

As for my past losses, by and large I have long since accepted that I lost a lot of money in gambling. One thing that makes me happy is that I gained experience, which I still use to this day. No one knows what happened to that money in another case, but I think it would have been gone as well.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
**How to Avoid Gambling Losses?**

1\. Be aware of the risks and the risk of losing your money.
2\. Don't be greedy and take a risk.
3\. Be careful when it comes to gambling.
4\. Do not gamble at all.
5\. Always make sure you are not going to lose all your money.

**What is the Risk of Gambling

Sounds like, it's easier said than done.

I know that most gamblers/bettors should remember these at all times but in reality, at least for me, that kind of mindset will always be with you during the early stage where you're still starting your session on any specific day but when you're already lucky enough and got huge funds in your hands, that same mindset will not be kicking into you because you are still in a good position, especially in a luck-based games.

that i lost the biggest amount I ever gamble in my entire life and that is more than 400 dollars(in which that time maybe multiplied by 3 now)

that day I promised to myself to never gamble hundred dollars in single day and yes,
I managed to do that till now.
Yes, that's a powerful way to change habits, namely by being consistent, let alone changing the mindset so that we don't get carried away by emotions in gambling and are also provoked by curiosity so that we continue to play gambling and spend hundreds to thousands of dollars, playing must be responsible and wise in betting, that's why I also felt like you, but finally I was able to let go of the desire to gamble.

Promise yourself to stop following your passion in gambling because it will plunge yourself into the same hole, so just follow your heart so you don't become a bad habit and an addict, play wisely sometimes we need to think that gambling is just for fun it's better than serious play.
Yes, it comes back to ourselves, because it is ourselves who know exactly what is allowed and what is not allowed to do, and which limits become our walls so that we have the brakes not to go any further. I think the feeling of regret will be felt by everyone, and it's also different for each person to overcome it. There are those who make their regrets as a lesson so they don't do it again, or set certain limits like you did, and some even just regret it, in the sense that he continues to do something that makes him regret, and this is usually done by an addict.

If they are active gamblers, of course, they often experience losses, but this is related to relative amounts and depends on each person. I have experienced losses in slot games of around $400-$500 twice in 2021, initially I had consecutive wins in several rounds, so in the end I increased my bet and ultimately lost all the profits and capital I had. That is the reason now considering playing slots and and usually if playing only a small amount no longer forces the will.

More interested in placing bets on football for now and even though I have also experienced defeat in betting, but somehow losing bets on football doesn't make me remember because maybe talking about a hobby and also not betting large amounts.

But Do You Have losses In Gambling That Still Haunts You Until This Day like you could have bought a new car with that loss
I don't have losses in gambling that still hunts me to this day, what I rather have are near win situations that I can still recall and I sometimes wish that I had won those amounts, that is cases where I should have won but ended up loosing. I do not gamble with money that is not mine and when I gamble, I am always cautious not to exceed a limit. I understand that this may not be the situation for others and I am not claiming to be better than them but that is my own situation.

For people who have such regrettable stories, It is in your best interest to examine and recall what made you put yourself in that situation, so you can try to avoid a reoccurrence in the future.

Maybe this is not much for some of us but everytime I remember the money that I spent on slot I somehow have this guilt feeling since you can buy many things with such amount already. That's also the reason why I rarely play slot game when I gamble.

But now I learned not to dwell in my past losses and move on because it can't bring any good to me. Playing in moderation and acceptance are necessary in order to not have regrets when you gamble your money.

Loss is a loss and we have different towards such thing. In my case, I had a loss of $2.5k before in slots. It became a wake up call on my gambling career to limit things. I had the urge to take back my losses but fortunately my friends helped me to accept what happened and limit the amount I gamble in each day or week. Unfortunate but I am thankful of it 'coz the idea of not learning to accept defeat is what scares me the most; I could have lost a bigger amount. Knowing myself that time, I would be frustrated to get back in that day as well which will never be advisable in gambling given that results are never certain and losing is more likely to occur in every bet.

Yes there are some losses that I think about from time to time, but I wouldn't say that they are haunting me. Over the years I accepted that there will be bigger losses in gambling, it's part of the game and we can't avoid it. All my losses have never been so big to a car from it which is probably why it's easier to live with them. My biggest ever gambling loss came during my first trip to Las Vegas, I managed to lose around 1200 USD in 1 or 2 hours playing roulette. That was already 5 years ago and I still think about it today. My main problem is not losing so much money, but rather how I lost it. The whole evening I had been drinking alcohol and was quite drunk when my friends decided to start gambling. After that night I said myself to never gamble when drunk again. Drinking 2-3 beers during a night is fine, just not getting wasted. If I had stayed sober that night I would have quit much earlier before my losses reached such a high level. Now I am more relaxed about it, as long as you are learning something out of your big losses it wasn't for nothing.
