For those interested, I didn't know anything about escrows until I read this and started doing some research. Turns out blockchain's My Wallet service has a built in escrow service. https://blockchain.info/wallet/escrow



Nope, they removed multisig transactions a while ago I believe.

Ah your right, just went in and tried to verify. Sorry for the bad information... Sad

Sign a message for people know its a scammer ... maybe someone "take back" the coin will give you back ( Probably not. )

Well, I'm sorry I don't buy this! How can you send 3 bitcoins in the first place, without knowing or using an escrow?
It seems you're post hunting myfriend and everbody else in here joined the party with you.
In case you did lost 3 coins... well.

it does sound outrageous, but i generally find people to be gullible.. so i wouldn't discount his claims at all.

no. let this be your $1,000 lesson. protect yourself from getting scammed.. because that is one of the pitfalls of owning bitcoins.

Nope, it was a cheap lesson well learned.
Do you know who he was, perhaps on this forum so we can be careful of him?
Also, always use escrow.
