Does your private key lost? Thats not a good news for you. It's is very important to have your key. What kind of wallet are you using? If you use myetherwallet, there are one option you can do (if you download it). Json can he download as you print out or write your private key. This is another option so you can open your wallet. It's like a backup if ever you forgot or lost your private key. If about bitcoins wallet, I have no idea how you will retrieve it, unless if you tell your beneficiaries about  your private key (to the one who will inherit in case something happens to you)

Guys what will happen if you accidentally lost the copy of your private key?..it's still possible to transfer your tokens to your other wallet using your wallet address..?? Does anyone know?..thanks in advance
Cryptocurrencies are very unforgiving about this, once you lose your private keys it's over you cannot recover that money, this is not like bank accounts where you lose your password and you can always get it back some way or another, once you lose your private key or your seed words then there is nothing to do that is the way bitcoin is designed and that is never going to change.

Keep your private key safe at lest in two different places because once lost your business with that wallet comes to an end, you can only view your wallet with wallet address and can not move anything from it so be careful.

I have a friend lost the password from the blockchain, and there are not any data any more, the campaign of his bitcoins went to those 5 millionths that are lost without a return, on the one hand it's cool that neither as hack, and on the other hand it's sad that do not restore the purse with coins!

this is one of my nightmares, do not let you experience it. especially bitcoin investors, who forgot to put or lose your private key.
because if that happens, it's just like you lose all your assets, and do not ever expect it to be back!

There's a way in recovering your Private key if it is you key to your myetherwallet. But you should have downloaded the UTC and you still have the password when you create your account. I have lost my PK before but i recover it again.

there is two option in accessing myetherwallet, thru private key and json file.if you lose your private, the other way to open your account is thru your json file. if you lost them both, then sorry.there's no way to open and recover account in mew. those are very important things you should keep very well. you must have it in printpaper so whatever happen to your gadgets, you still have your private keys.

You have not lost your private key you can get it back.Go to your downloads search for your UTC or  Keystore / JSON File, you can recover it with this but you will need your password you used in creating the wallet to achieve this. I have recovered all my lost keys with this.GOOD LUCK

as far I know, no one, even you or the service admins can access if you lost your Private Keys.
Even admins can not access the wallet. Private key only know by one person not include the admin or the dev. That's why we must save the private key when open new wallet in the safe place and any place.

If you just lost your private key but still have access to your account then yes you can still transfer your coins. If you forgot your password also then you really have very little to no chance of getting your coins. Always have backup plans when it comes to investments and money.

If the key is lost, then there is no way back because the block system is not designed to support such a system as losing keys and moderators will not help you either.

Normally, if you lost your private key, then it means you lost your coin(s). Just like a common joke here; if you dont have the key, then it's not yours!  Grin
So, be careful when keeping your private key because it's so essential.
But if you only lost access to wallet but still have your private key, then basically your coins is still there. Just use regular Bitcoin wallet and you can restore it using your private key.

I do not know how to solve it, because if we lose the private key we lose everything we have on the wallet, MEW also said that can not recover the lost account Private Key, so I suggest that you print it and save it in place safe, and always do backup data regularly

Without your Private Keys, you're pretty much screwed. Make sure you look after these and keep them very safe, secure and do not share with anyone.

Yes thats pretty much good as gone. Is there a way of accessing accounts if you loose the device your google 2FA is activated on? and can you change over to another device if you loose the 2fa retrieval code?

If you decide to invest, do not delay and start right now.
Not relevant answer to the OP,he is talking about private key.

Do you know what is a private key?

It is like a stong password will be given at the time of creating our wallet so we need it always if we want to access our wallet.

If you lose a private key, you can not transfer your coins. This is very important in accessing your wallet without your coins will be forever locked. In this situation you can request mod / dev of a certain coin, if they can help in order to return all your coins from the lost private key. Cool
I think the developer will not entertain this type of problem as this is cause by the negligence of the users. Many had reported lost private keys and their coins will be in trap with their wallets and considered lost forever. In doing cryptocurrency the most important thing is your private key, you should keep it in a safe place and always provide a back-up copy.
