Yes it's too hard to toss a coin 12 times and it will be heads every time like you said. You should have a magical luck to win this. By the way this man get 11/12. He is pretty close to win this bet, but unfortunatly for this one game lost.
Anyways, one day in the past i did a paraly with 22 events of football games which odds between 1.1-1.6 . I lost only one match.

At least you won something from the leaderboard contest of Nitrogensports. I would not take it very well if I lost only for 1 bet that huge winnings parlay. I would have quit gambling and become depressed or something like that. Glad that you didn't feel bad about it. I voted to keep trying and avenge that 50.000 dollars loss.

That reallly hurts you know that you almost touch that 50 btc in your hands and suddenly flew away because of just 1 game that really hurts on my part and would hardly move on but well we cant do anything about it and thats the thing why i hate parlays.

It is not exactly the same like tossing a coin but you need incredible luck for you to win a big parlay like this because it is hard to see a day without any upset and in the sports world anything is possible at a given day and i have being to similar situations where i lost just a single match a couple of days back in a parlay in different sites and missed out on a huge win,the risk is high but if you are lucky enough and you are interested in sports then you can try your luck in it.

your description could work for a dice game where technically you're really betting
"to toss a coin 12 times and it will be heads every time".
When you bet on a match despite there is the same odds, you can have different interpretation, eg. just hyped/dumped by some big whale.
So your bet could be a bit more lucky than just the odds. And I think this make the difference between bad/ good better, literally find a "value" bet. Because guess 12 results together it's harder at every odds!

Very true as it is very hard to win a parlay even a 5 leg parlay however even though it is hard sometimes they can pay off big time for a small amount of money bet. That is why many people play parlays for the chance to win big, the max I ever bet on a parlay is $50. The odds of winning a 12 leg parlay are small and very unlikely but there is the potential to win big.

Oh man that is very unlucky, that would of been an epic win my friend but it wasn't to be. A lot of sports books now let people cash out of their parlays if they feel they ain't going to win like bet365, sportsbet and a few others but we are yet to see this with any sportsbook that accepts Bitcoin. Because even if you did pull out after the first few legs you still would of made a good amount of profit. I have had this happen to me on many occasions where I have lost one leg in a parlay but never for a large amount like this so I can't imagine how you feel.

I don't know what is your age or experience in betting.
But personally I think "long" parlay (more than 5-6 match with odds > 2.0) are really too risky and probably leads just to a lose.
Despite the high jackpot I think is not valuable in the long time.
Probably this type of betting ("long" parlay) could lead to a sort of addiction (find an high jackpot, add more events that you can, try to recover your loses....)

No, something even more unimaginable happened a few days later right before the end of the month. Some random account a couple hundred digits off from mine won the parlay jackpot with a 7 team soccer DRAW parlay that lost by 1 with odds in the stratosphere.

I think it is hard as most games started mostly at the same time, and you need to have some bankroll with you too.
And the main problem is don't think there is much option for live Hockey betting (maybe I am incorrect_)

True, thats always a risk. In a situation, when I am betting 30$ and about to win 50,000$, I would absolutely ask relatives or friends for money. But you are right about the games starting at the same time. That is always a problem.
