You're being too pedantic. I guess it is still lottery, only it is of a different version. There are so many versions or variations of lottery. In my country, there are so many lottery games. There used to be tickets sold with existing number combinations. If I am not mistaken, it is already gone. Right now, people are the ones choosing which number combinations they wish to buy. You can choose a lottery with different number limits. There's an option to choose any 6 numbers out of 42, 45, 49, 55, and 58 numbers. There is also an option to only choose 2, 3, or 4 digits out 0-10.

Yes it is still a lottery, there are many type of lottery in this gambling world. One of them is the one talked by 50 cents which is the most popular lottery game in my country.
