Looks like someone from AMD is mining this

wtf  Huh

Photoshopped changing Bitcoin for LOT?

interesting

lotto-fan any update about BTer? or other stuff, such as website, etc

Don't forget to check the redesign logo thread!

Ok i like that but can i try a offer a few Tweak suggestions..

Change the coin from Silver to Gold. (Gold tends to make it pop)
Change the gold intertior (grooves, etc) to Silver (cos the current design kinda washes out the other colors.
Switch the "O" with a LOTTO 8 ball.. (Not really necessary)
Oh and leave the "LOT" as silver..
Oh and maybe a shade darker on the multi-colors on the inside of the coin.. current coloring looks a little flat.

I loved the button and the image above the button..

I think a big part of the problem LOT is having in supporting it's price is the rate of coin production.

Lot is already 18% mined and has only been out for what 25 days?

Dogecoin is struggling with the same problem. If you look at their market cap it is almost holding steady but value per coin keeps declining.

Compare that to Feathercoin which isn't even 10% mined yet and has been out for like 9 months.

This is why it is so profitable to mine LOT regardless of difficulty and why the auto-sells hurt us so much while coins like Catcoin can weather the onslaught better. Catcoins mining cycle is the same as Bitcoins which is very long.

On the other end of the spectrum when the block reward continues to halve down to a level where mining is no longer profitable how is the network supported?

I think maybe a fork is needed to correct this problem.

Not really sure why the trend is for coins to finish their mining cycle so quickly these days but I don't think it is good for the stability of the coin.

Anyone care to give their opinion on this? one way or the other?

I feel it is a valid concern. By the time we reach the first block reward halving there will be about 3x the coins as now so either the marketcap would have to be 3x the price as now to maintain the per coin price or the price per coin will be less.

The Lottocoin "brain club" has been discussing the block reward "issues" over the past few days, but we aren't exactly sure on how we'll handle it yet. It is a valid concern, and something has to be done. But we're working on it Smiley

I long to go back to the $15 and below days, and just invest paychecks into btc...

Who not, my friend... I would sell everything to invest in BTC Grin

I made a presentation about BTC as it was at $3. That was the time where I should buy... With only $1000 I'd now have over $400.000 LOL. Incredible.

I use to daytrade, but I've found that I"m horrible at it.

For me it worked but i really don´t like the fact to sit in front of the Charts 40 times a day.
During work always checking the charts. I mean wtf  Cheesy
Where this would gonna end when i wouldn´t stop it at some point ^^
Anyone is familiar with those situations? Cheesy
Please, teach me about trending, I am horrible with BTC (pretty decent with LOT - but these are small sums and relatively stagnant).

Me too. Tried it with quark, stablecoin and ... wait for it ... bitcoin.

I had some bitcoins, sold at $80 because I thought it will go way down and what happend? 2 month later we was at $1200. Never again Grin Grin

yeah, I sold 5btc at 80, then almost cried when it jumped

Yeah, right? It seemed that it would go down. After I saw like $200 I thought about buying again but then I hoped it's only a short hype and wanted to wait till we see $100 again but no... $1200... f**k Grin

Yea I think a lot of us found out the hard way. Ive actually been doing a little better recently but it only takes one mistake to cancel out all your gains.

100% true. Lost today my gains of 2 days work in 5min.

I daytrade but only in coins I don't mind holding long term.

That way if I end up bagholding it isn't a big deal.
