I can't believe you guys take words at face value. It's obvious I'm not part of this community and would never wish to, but to offer mr. iikun (who seems to value the sense of community) some insight as an outsider is rather awkward. I therefore had to 'fake' my affiliation with this shit community.

Well you weren't too great at detecting sarcasm either it seems Smiley

You can do as you like, hate it or like it, I'm not losing sleep over it tbh Smiley

Even if it doesn't work out, at least I know I TRIED fixing a problem instead of sitting there & mocking other people's efforts Smiley

Think of Lottocoin as a successful global super brand... this was the premise I began with when investing in the coin and also offering my advice

Please ask yourself:
• Did the old logo represent a successful global super brand. SIMPLE ANSWER: NO
• Does the new logo represent a successful global brand: WE GOT HALF WAY THERE
• Does branding effect end user and investor confidence: YES
• Should a brand with a market cap in excess of XXXX and with a potential future market cap of XXXX (you do the math) be launched on a piece of poor clip art. NO
• Is 3 Bitcoin, in the scheme of the evolution of a global super brand too much to spend pre-launch? ??

Lesson:
Don't scrimp on branding costs just because 'it is not done around here like this'.

Please, please read my branding advice thread to understand exactly why branding is so important when launching a coin and why major corporates spend many millions (not low thousands) on their brand development. And lastly... if you think 3 Bitcoin is too much then you will never launch a global super brand successfully unless you know a brand consultant or pay a brand consultant. I can assure you, when you find out how much pro-brand consultants charge (not micky mouse designers who have a 3D progeam they know how to use)* you will discover how little 3 bitcoin is.

[Edit] *Appologies but this statement was not aimed at the current lotto logo designer who actually did quite well under the circumstances.

edit: @jdebunt answer is NO, Lot doesn't need more ideas. It needs to move backward and solve all its structural problems which have been restated countless times over the past 100 pages.

There are several issues that we need to consider as a community before moving on.

I take it you still want to be a part of this community then? If so,  the door's open, you just have to come in & bring some ideas to the table if you have any Smiley

If you want to be taken seriously you need to learn how to offer constructive criticism. Coming in here with a low activity count, boasting of "25 years experience blah blah" and then asking for a payment in excess of $500 per hour for a design is not usually how it's done. You are correct that the launch could have been handled better, but the launch is done & finished now. If you want to be a part of this community pls start looking to the future rather than moaning about the past. Discussion is healthy for this thread/community but playing the "I told you so" card is not. I hope you can see that.

The post you refer to was in direct response to redcoins request that I illustrate where I had contributed... If he had been reading the forum i would not of course made back reference to my contribution and he would not have bothered to challenge me on this, but as this was an attempt to undermine the contribution I have made and also undermine my personal integrity within this public forum I have the right to reply and give reference to the contribution I have made which represents THE major initiative in changing the logo and slogan.

Again, If you had been following the thread of the logo design competition I spent many posts giving constructive criticism to a help avoid some of the problems we now have with the branding... constructive criticism (if you bothered to read my posts) is a device I have regularly employed to effect change since joining this forum so your comment is a little out of place here.

'Discussion is healthy for this thread/community' is a theme I have also mentioned many times in this thread when there is 'heated' debate and I am in total agreement with you here.

Here we go again, attack rather than constructive contribution:
@ fuckycoin
somone [SIC] who contributes absolutely nothing, and really has no idea about crypto

I understand you are mad, i would be too if my coin had made some fundamental schoolboy branding mistakes that had directly lead to it not being taken seriously when it hit the exchanges.

Major contributor in that I initiated the both the campaign to change the lottocoin logo AND the slogan resulting in a great new slogan and a much better logo.

Here's what I contributed on 29 Dec... it may have been harsh but if heeded at the time Lotto would have not suffered the ID crisis it has now gone through. well actually I can't quote it as the official forum site is down... anyone else having this problem???

Some of my advice was eventually taken on board (to redesign the logo) by Old Miner who used my graphics as samples for the direction he wanted the coin to go in (My Input and me pushing for a redesign!!!). But unfortunately my advice was actioned way too late for the launch and many of the attributes of the current logo fall short of what is required for a world class brand. My critique was never just to criticize ... I went into detail of what needed to be done and why it needed to be done... I contributed at length, and held the bar up high so Lotto could be promoted as a world class brand. The current logo, although 'striking' in its realism still fails on many different levels, period. Again, I ask you to carefully read my branding thread, which is there to give useful tips on the CORRECT way to brand your ALT coin. Forget my coins for the moment as they have not been launched yet, but read the actual content of the advice.

@ fuckycoin,

can you please show us what contributions you have made, except for saying all our sites, games and graphics suck?

Wheres the sites and stuff you have made, or promoting you have done to support this project? Or do you think the"devs" and everyone else are your slaves?

Just because no one is interested to pay you an outrageous payment,  no need to go bitching about everyone elses work

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/branding-your-alt-coin-tips-advice-and-discussion-thread-390797   is just advertising his service, and proves hes clueless, who has even heard of those coins you made? yea you are really good....  perhaps show us what exchanges they are  on.  or what we can buy with these coins....

From Redcoin to Funkycoin:
Hey fucktard, ... This idiot... better than the abortions you made.... You are not an expert you are a dickhead.... so fuck off,

By the way... for anyone wishing to learn just how much of a 'fucktard' and 'idiot' I really am and to understand just some of the blatant flaws of the current branding of lottocoin, please read my thread here for tips on how to successfully brand your ALT coin:

Why do people keep saying this coin is dead? I see a lot of potential in it. I finally tried the LOT casino yesterday and liked it a lot even though I lost. The only thing I don't really like it the name since Lotto is associated with the lottery and that makes me think Mega Millions not gambling sites. I'm surprised its selling for so low, I have been buying some up.

Read the previous 50 pages...

LOT is dead. 'Nuff said.

If by "dead" meaning it has enough weight to battle doge and holding the second highest 14 day average on coinwarz, call me a necro.  Miners stays on it.

From Redcoin to Funkycoin:
Hey fucktard, ... This idiot... better than the abortions you made.... You are not an expert you are a dickhead.... so fuck off,

Thanks Redcoin you have again proved my point... those with high vested interest in lottocoin's survival like yourself can only resort to foul, base and unintelligent attacks because you know there is NO substance in what you say and your arguments have no foundation... so first line of attack... try to undermine, attempt to ostracize and discredit... Sole purpose is to discredit those who are trying hard to support the coin and are initiating intelligent debate and raising key issue concerns. Check my posts and you'll see I've spent countless hours inputting here and on the lottocoin redesign pages... time=money.

Serious investor's ... this is typical of the language the key members with vested interest use to attack those who bring intelligent and challenging debate to the forum...

So thanks Redcoin for further demonstrating how little real intelligence is applied engaging with those who are trying hard to give you professional advice.

Any pro's reading know fully well no one here gives up their free time for nothing. Everyone has an investment angle, period. We are all here to make money, including you. You more than others as you have high vested interest in keeping this afloat.

Again, no real news from the DEVS... and now even Redcoin, rather than outline cutting edge developments that would help the coin's perceived value, has demonstrated that there is nothing new in the pipeline other than the Casino he now admits is not the the best casino in the world.

Actually on the plus side, the Lotwin Casino logo is pretty good... No Fail here, but the layout looks cheap, garish and nasty (no class... no style) and I'm guessing that most of the games are simply adapted licensed code. Maybe this was a conscious decision to go down this route and is indicative of the market you are trying to target, bottom end gamblers who simply want to piss all their savings away, but my guess is that it's more of a budget constraint and not being able to get pros to do do the design for you. The way forward, if you hadn't picked up on it is clean classy Web 2 design with a cutting modern 'edge'.

For anyone reading who is not up to speed please check carefully back through the last few pages... don't let attacks like this fool you or bury the main issues at stake. For anyone interested I'll re-post the all the advice and the 'abortion' i submitted for the logo competition. Won't bore you with it unless you are really interested to know what input I made and what an 'abortion' looks like.
