Well conversion was his original plan but the timeline was accelerated so he started selling pre-orders for Gen 2. I think they'll be maintained until no longer profitable then they will be gone.

Today I received the first payment after purchasing 2nd Gen, which has not changed much that put the calculator only with qasic, Has anyone noticed any difference on 2nd Gen?
The 2nd gens are paying 12 shares pre 1 2nd gen share. So the payout is pretty small.
Really makes me wonder if its worth accumulating 2nd gen share now or wait til January.
There's a very good chance that Chris is currently selling the 2nd Gen shares at a discounted price and come January when he puts them into action he'l be selling them at a higher price.
That's my thought anyway. The fact we are getting anything at all from them currently is a bonus as they are classed as a pre-sale.
Possibly, but no one knows. I think I made the correct move by staying with gen 1 and currently rolling profits into gen 2. Gen 1 is still very profitable, if I had sold everything for gen 2 my income would of crashes into nothing.
Agree, it's pure speculation at this point. My current reinvestment strategy 50/50 until January then all will go to gen2. I'll keep the gen1 and let Chris do the conversion.

I meant I'll continue to reinvest in both 1gen and 2gen until January where I'll only buy 2gen.
As far as 1gen shares, we don't know what will happen. Some think that all 1gen will eventually be converted to 2gen, others think they will continue to run until they are no longer profitable and just die off. No one knows for sure so safest I think is stay in the middle.

BTC exchange rates have fluctuated and VTC rates aren't accurate (as the note on the site says).
Personally my payout was within 10% of what LTCGearCalc says... which I think is very accurate considering.

How does the 2nd gen prices compare to hash profit prices ? Is there a way to figure that out, apples to apples? Thanks!
It's significantly more. They use GPUs, not ASICs or FPGAs. I meant it looks good for LTCgear 2nd gen shares once they go online. Hashprofit.com takes 4 months to ROI with all of their promotions going on.
