They was a lot of stock the past days. Since the new announcement, all products are out of stock. So I don't think it's to get more money, the price was very cheap if you compare with the rival cloud mining companies.
I just add one more thing that Chris replied : "The payment choice "Convert to shares" will be applied whith new price in the future."

1. Sell off all older stock at a decent price before new product is released
2. Limit sales due to lack of resources

I'm all for raising the price and removing the affiliate program altogether. too many resellers abusing the referral system.

Isn't this an obvious move, to get a huge amount of re-investments in a short time. And then dump all the shares and run away with profit..?
Don't take this as an insult, just being careful of reinvesting now. It seems very attractive to do so. Any help / suggestions?

- The referral system will be deactivated at the end of the week for several weeks (possible permanent.) All referral hits registered before deactivation will be paid and no referrals will be recorded after.
In order to mitigate short term effects of this changes, a new product is temporarily listed, at a price which contain all the accumulated benefits of the removed features.

I just bought 500 shares and left positive feedback. It only shows up at +1 on his trust, but everything went smooth. The wallet he showed was consistent with what he should have been getting. Sometimes you just have to give a little trust.
EDIT: I bought 1500 more shares. Great transactions!

Share packs are 12 month deals, then you have to pay maintenance on them to continue.
The fee is around 5% – 20% of initial share price
what is initial share price? the 1805 or the discounted price? or the initial price 9005?

Probably what was paid for the shares? No one knows for sure. We don't even know how the shares age when they have been transferred.
Or whether the free shares with multiplication/conversion of profits are linked to the original shares age or their "creation" date.

Agreed its still a mystery... but i would think it would mean the price you paid at purchase of those shares.
