I can do the math for you for this week (see Farm Payments on website):
1600 shares x 0.01955602 LTC = 31.28 LTC (or ltc/btc=0.0104 --> 0.325 BTC)

Essentially you buy shares in a farm, you can mine LTC, VTC or DRK.
You can purchase QShares or Farmshares, by default they mine LTC.
If you buy what's called a Mod Pack, you can then mine DRK or VTC, by using some of those shares.
That's it in a nutshell, poke around the website and the rest should fall into place.
Thanks but still confused, as in how to calculate profit and such.
I'm more familiar with BTC mining, buying machine and input caculations about power usage, GH, etc.
