I still wonder if anyone has decided to take things into their own hands

Good question. I know a few people who are ready and waiting, not sure how long they'll wait, but they've got quite a bit into this "operation" and I'm sure they won't wait forever.

What do you think they can do about it?

Romania does have an extradition treaty with the US.  Cyber criminals from Romania have been extradited to the US before so this will not be something unheard of.  I would imagine they would notify the FBI of cyber fraud, provide evidence, and then let the chips fall as they may....

Edit to add: this is of course assuming that the "they" you are referring to are US nationals.

Why would the FBI take the lead in any investigation?

If US citizens were effected they will.

But surely not the lead. They might investigate and work together with interpol but they already have democracy in Romania, they can handle the case themselves Wink

Server under maintenance (ETA March 4/12 - server in maintenance week - some accounts got 48 hours payment lock reset).

I'm gonna have to say that tomorrow it's gonna say 4/13 (which is the weirdest way to write a deadline... ever.)

Nah I think the script will push it to two days tomorrow.

At this point I think everyone would be just happy to see it get going again even without getting paid for past mining. Likely neither will happen.

I would empty my bankaccount to buy new shares!  Grin

My finger is on the button, ready to sell my house at a moment's notice.  Cheesy

Server under maintenance (ETA March 4/5 - server in maintenance week - some accounts got 48 hours payment lock reset).

this things doesnt get into my attention anymore as said he isnt really trying his best to fix the issue, he could just wake up in the morning, update the front page of ltcgear and leave it be with his silly deadlines that he never kept

We can safely state that he could use a bit of a timemanagement course to help him set credible deadlines  Roll Eyes
Or get a manager to help keep a project on task.

That would be really ideal. Maybe a customer relations desk? Wink
Im sure his customers will be happy to pay for the pr ladys salary if he gets one .. cuz this sucks to bad

He could put 5% extra maintenance on it? Wink

nah we would get him a chick thats low maintenance Wink
