I hate that I have posted expired panels, but they have been stored properly since they have been in my hands and they are priced accordingly.  I bought this as my first vest a while ago because it was cheap and I had no fucking clue about buying items such as these.  Good first timer vest to see how it feels, how shirts fit and how to not stand out in public with a vest on.  I would not take this SOB to Bag

But on a more positive note! These bad boys don't expire!  Pre-banned Orlite 30rd magazines! Nom Nom Nom Cheapest on the internet AND I take BTC... how awesome.

Ah yes, I can faintly see 2002 on the lot number line in pic 2.

I don't see a pic of the label removed...

Ok so after further review of both panels (front and back) I think it is safe to say that the panels where made in 2002.  Although I am not 100% sure on that.  I have the pricing set as it is a 2002 panel for front/back.  I look at this as like having an expired condom. Would you rather raw dog it or at least have something covering you up!  Hopefully in 2 weeks I will have another load of Not expired bullet resistant vest (I only carry concealable vest, no military grade... normally.) Obviously, these will be priced higher.

For 2020 to be a date and not part of the size line, that would mean 2020 is on the degraded sticker and possibly 2002 as well. If the sticker is sharpied out because that's the officer's name on it, I'd just put some rubbing alcohol on a toothbrush and remove the sticker residue so we can really see what's underneath.

Made in 2002 and expiring in 2020 does not seem realistic, as the max is 5 years if only ever existing in darkness and cold with no torsion, AFAIK.

I'll give the toothbrush a shot and I fully concur.

Edit: see above.

Doing it now. I got busy and forgot.

Get more bang for your buck Cheesy

Few inquires, but no one has "pulled the trigger" yet!
That was horrible.  So horrible.

Grin I figured if I was going to bump it, it may as well be a good bump!

I'll keep this in mind - when I can liquidate my ASICMINER shares at a good price, I'll probably buy the cheap pistol. Problem is no one buys any ASICMINER shares in the passthrough I use.

Actually kevlar's performance does degrade over time, so this is something buyers should know before trusting it with their lives.

It looks like sticker residue and sharpie covers most of the size and lot number, but 2002 is faintly visible at the end of the line. Then "0201" is in the lower right corner of the box at the bottom.

Still pretty mysterious.

You need to publish the expiration date or at least the manufacturer date.

Thanks for the response, I'll have to think about it.  I will say your offering is certainly a fair price tho.

Will it protect against just .22 or higher caliber bullets as well?
