Well actually in my own experience I had tried a lots of method just to earn money except from illegal activities. But for me I am not lucky with those gambling and lottery, and also just recently earlier this year I found out that you really need to work hard in order for you to earn and make money.
I can't pick one, but let's remove faucets and lending since it's far from being profitable
There's a risk in every choices. Trading is for pro traders you can earn profit if you can play nice with your money, Investing is a good choice but then there's a risk of losing because we can't say what will be the price of the coin when you get you money and it also takes time to get your money back, and the last Lottery, just try it once or twice or use the money you can afford to lose, you can win big prizes if you got the luck for winning.
I choose Trading and Investing, but lets don't based on luck, just learn and work hard to earn.

People also need to consider that the prices of bitcoin changes overtime. Last January 2017, the prices of bitcoins were around $1000~ and right now, it's around $2400+. The chances of someone winning the lottery is very slim compared to investing money. If you just invested your money way back, then right now you'll have more resources and money to invest to. Sometimes it's not all about luck, but your decision making when it comes to using your money on the right way.

Bitcoin is not now in its early stage.At earlier times,it was easy to buy bitcoins since bitcoin was very cheap and no one actually knew about bitcoins at that time.No one expected that bitcoin could reach this much high.But now every one has realized that bitcoin has more heights to go and so spending it would be an unwise decision.So,every one wants to save bitcoins.Also,since bitcoin is now known to many people,competition is very high to earn bitcoins either by trading or by participating in signature campaigns.Out of all other ways,trading still continues to be the most legit way to earn bitcoins. It is true other than our luck here must be profitable, but we must have the cleverness and carefulness in every decision to make no loss much

Buying on the dips and selling on the highs is probably the best way to do it.
Many altcoins go up and down by a lot. Take a look a Bytecoin, it seems to crash hard then weeks later go up by 2 or 3x.

Indeed that trading is the best way to earn bitcoin but it needs a lot of research and time to be able to follow bitcoin trend. Aside from that, not all are capable of this stuff so I think earning bitcoin depends on the skill and way where a person is most familiar with.

There is of course no question about bitcoin faucets because surfing their sites cost me more money than it can give me back that too "free". I don't trust lottery at all, it's just too wiered how can people try it out for nothing of course we know there is only one lucky winner and ehh everybody thinks they are great. Lols. Investing is also good option but it needs to be strategic investment. Fir example, mining that too hardware one and not the cloud.
But due to BIP148 everyone is holding up the bitcoin with the fear. We need to wait till August 1st week and then only trading will continues simple and make money in trading. Bitcoin faucets would not give big amount. it is simply waste of time to making the btc.

It is like wanting to be rich but not doing anything if you really want to earn some money then you should really work hard for it.
If you want to make money from crypto currency then why don't you consider doing some trading it is much more profitable than putting your money in the lottery.

I seldom think that luck is very prominent in all people with determination. Hence, not all of us is granted by this luck to full extent. Luck is one of the major characteristic of a scientist, and is very evident with people who mostly used to exert efforts in public speaking. Just my thoughts

Why rely on luck in the first place? Work hard to earned to bitcoins and forget that shortcut to success.
This is the problem to some of the people, they do lack of effort to pursue the goal to reached the status of big earners. We have all working minds that can think of effective way to deal with the problem associated when we try to earn bitcoins. Just like you said, there are people who already earned many bitcoins, do you think some of them got those bitcoins in an easy way? If they did, then other people can did that too.
Put some seriousness to earned and don't rush things.
Gambling and lottery is not a good way to earn, earning from luck is not a good way because you cant control your luck, learn to trade, you can get better and produce a lot of profit and you can earn a decent profit everyday

I have been playing lottery for like 5 years and still didn't became rich. And there is a lot more out there who have been gambling that way for decades.
This bitcoin thing is way different from that. It is not luck (it just works sometimes) it is actually knowledge. Going with the flow. Trying to predict it. Going with your instincts. The luck only comes when you did a bad choice and yet the market flows with it.

That's what went wrong in our heads. We thought that we could be rich in one night just with bitcoin.
Actually, not only bitcoin, any businesses. No, we cannot.
Just like everyone says, trading is the most profitable. But it's totally different with lottery.
