Introducing Backtest

There has been a lot of requests for this feature. We've finally gotten around to releasing it after extensive testing.

Backtest is working with all our existing strategies and indicators.
You can only backtest bot, not group of bots.

However you can run multiple backtests at the same time.

Hopefully this will help you guys experiment better with your configs!

Flash dump config is working well for small wins.
Still, the take profit setting could be better. Anyone knows a good indicator for taking profit?

Hi guys, thank you all for the feedback.
I see that many people think the price is a factor when they're considering buying Luna.

Regarding a one-time price, it is a bit hard for us to justify, because we are a cloud-hosted bots, which means we do all the hosting for you.
That's including monitoring 24/7, system management, automatic upgrades so you always get the latest features without having to do anything.
We also monitor all accounts for errors and fix them proactively. This is one of the huge advantage for using Luna. You don't have to find someone to fix things for you, if they're errors on our side, we fix them proactively.
I think those kind of things do justify the price. If you use a client bot, it falls on you to do all of the work yourself. Most people I've spoken to, they do not want to do that much work to maintain their bots.

Anyway, we do have a few ideas on pricing.
One of the idea was that: We could offer a FREE tier, where we don't charge you anything until you actually make profitable trades.
Only then will we charge a percentage of your profit. So it's win-win, if you make money, we also make money.

Of course to make this work, there's a few changes we have to make, but I just want to throw the idea out there to see if there's any agreements.

I've followed this forum for so long, but this is the first time I've joined in one discussion like this, because I'm really impressed by Luna. And I believe all of you will be for sure.

- It's clear and user-friendly, even newbie can easily set a config for himself. 
- Due to the hosted server, I dont need to keep track on those bots 24/7. Once you set all essential settings, they run automatically. It saves much time.

However, I still consider 'cause of its price. hmmmm...

anw, it is a good experience for anyone who want to start exploring trading bot. Must try!

I think it is a bit hard for you to manage your account within 1 month as when your bots are running quite stable after almost 1 month, u again need to think of paying for next month. In case you forget it, it may cause problems. It is my ideas.

Btw, I've juz finishing the free 7-days trial. Quite impressed cause I didn't do anything. Juz set up the config one time at the beginning and leave it there. My initial amount is small ~$200 cauze I juz wanna test it out. And I got ~$9 profit after 7 days. Not bad for a newbie to bot trading like me. I wish I would put in 2btc at the beginning haha  

I think it worths a try. For a pro, you can gain a lot of profit while using Lunabot for sure. For a newbie like me, it definitely a good channel to invest compare to stock exchange or other investment channels.

This is very significant. 0.1 for a permanent license would be a deal closer for sure.

If I could suggest another idea, you guys could allow the pricing be 0.02 BTC/month instead of locking the subscription for a minimum of 0.06/3 months. It would be easier for people to try it for a month or two before buying a longer subscription period (or even a perma license).

Cause this project really did impress me, it's super easy to use and delivers great results. I believe there's an extraordinary space for it to grow within the community in general.

Alright, got the 15 days trial period but i didn't actually use it fully as i paused it after few days using

Few points here
1) It is by far one of the most user friendly bot from what i see, it is very clean and straightfoward
2) Although it is user friendly, the main thing comes is how the setting will be config and i think that the main issue for most people. (For EG, profit ratio, BB setting and etc

The main thing which concern me the most is still the pricing
I've a Gunbot permanent license for 0.1 btc with all the top exchanges license

Profittrailer is one of the few famous one, by comparing prices, it is almost close but if compare to Gunbot. Lets do the maths

0.00627 for 30 Bots/month = for a permanent gunbot license, i can only pay for 16 months of Lunabot
0.0198 for 100 Bots/month(10% Discount) = only 5 months of working bot
Then, Gunbot provide strategy too

Main thing which could turn Lunabot into a well famous crypto trading bot
- a One time permanent price
- Provide some strategy setting which can be choose (Definitely i know you guys are doing it now)
- Price factor is still the main concern - 0.00627 btc is around $58/month, if we goes over longer term, people would eventually compare prices and decide

If Lunabot vs Gunbot at a same pricing, perma license, but Lunabot doesn't provide strategy
I would go for Lunabot because of how it works

Dude, search for Gunbot tutorials. It's a mainstream bot (which means there will be quality guides out there, even here in the forum there might be some quality info) and it covers most (if not all) config inputs you'll find on luna or other similar bots.

Check it out or just use the standard config that comes with Luna. It's pretty safe in my experience and delivers a few percent every week.
