I have about 6.8k CBX (in 4 chunks) in my wallet. I didn't mine any PoSP block since 1st January. Tell me please what I do wrong?
Wallet (2.1.1) is unlocked, 14 connections, block height is matching with block explorer.

Maybe I should divide my coins to more chunks?

I had a similar problem in the beginning when I hadn't staked anything in the first 13 hours or so. After moving coins around, I finally started PoSPing a couple of hours later. I don't know if this is by design or not (it's possible that older coins still work towards PoS instead of PoSP), and I surely don't swear by it, but it worked for me and some other CBXer.

That's right, this other CBXer  Cheesy had the same problem.
Some of my addresses and subaddresses weren't staking so I tried sending the funds to a new address. 1 hour later problem was fixed.

I posted a guide on page 56 of this thread, it might be worth reading sections 'Checking your addresses and inputs' and 'Consolidating inputs'

Although you have the funds separated to 4 addresses, I am willing to bet if you check the Bullion Control feature, you will see you have a number of sub addresses that have been created through your previous PoS staking and splitting - before PoSP. I would suggest creating 7 addresses and dividing your coins among them. You will start getting PoSP 1 hour after that and will be good to go.

Enjoy!

it crashes using listsinceblock

Yes, thank you Byron, your PM was received. Will have a look.

I too reported at GitHub about listtransactions crashing, but Alex4J said it is not supposed to be run in Qt wallet but only in daemon mode. AFAICR I used some of those commands in the Qt wallet in previous versions.

MOBU
Sometimes when I leave my CryptoBullion vault wallet to stake overnight it intermittently crashes. Why is this? Should I try to re-download the blockchain?

Same-same!

Yup...I have the same problem. Doesn't even give me a code to check. I have checked the ram usage and, sure it uses a bit more when staking, but CBX isn't the highest usage I have seen for staking wallets. It just mysteriously closes. Should I send over my debug file to alex?

Hey snatchmonkey

I believe there is an official ARM based (Raspberry Pi) wallet in the works, as you say if we really want people to stake 24/7 we need to make it as cost effective as possible and staking on a Raspberry PI (especially the v2) is a no brainer Smiley

Had a few issues half way through my compile with uPnP inclusion but think I have that fixed now... Just takes forever to build on my little PI, will post a tutorial again when I have a compiled binary Smiley

FR
If you follow explaination in the doc for compiling on Linux it should work, nothing to change.
I had done an update to support ARM a few days ago in order to let people stake on a RPi. But i think a tutorial could be useful for newbie of course, if you need help to compile contact me Smiley

Anyway an image of less than 100 Mb will be realesed with the Vault. It will be design to be accessible through a web interface, so no UI interface on the OS of the RPi to reduce size, consumation and heat on it.

Great time to be staking with PoSP!

Currently 16.5% of CBX in circulation are staking (last 1k blocks) so those who are staking now are earning at a projected yearly interest rate of around 12.12%!

And overall inflationary rate remains at a steady 2% per year.

FYI: Cashout feature not functioning on CBX faucet.

Ok this problem will be solved as soon as I can get a hold of the Dev who looks after the faucet.

Thanks for letting us know!

OK CapnBDL, faucet works normally now

Cashouts are now working it seems.

Just started my staking my collection, works like a charm - and have a ARM compatible wallet compiling as I type Smiley

Raspberry Pi staking node here I come Cheesy

FR

I'm interested to hear about this if you get it working.

My desktop pulls about 300 watts from the wall so I was looking to use an old laptop to stake, but unfortunately have been running into the memory usage issue that others have also been experiencing (awaiting any further fixes or work arounds for this) currently trying killiz' recommendation, and have ordered some more ram. I think I can get my power usage down to about 15 to 20 watts on this laptop, assuming that i can get the client stable and the cpu underclocked.

Raspberry Pi would of course be even better from a power usage perspective. I have one and I've played with it a bit but unfortunately linux confuses the hell out of me and I've never been able to set it up to do anything particularly useful before. If the Pi can stake well perhaps we could have an install image downloadable from the CBX website, for linux noobs like myself who want to stake 24/7 without spending a fortune on electric.
