Good, the currency will be unlisted from Nova unless there is a node, so you can contact the support and remove it from the slips.

If someone has any node that is running that post.

Thank you

https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_LYCN/

Traded up to a high of 150 sats (like a pump sort of jump), down now to 20 sats, which is more realistic.

Some good action, though.

.. and mining reward jumped up to 600 at 20k blocks.

Too soon for delisting in Nova.

I wonder what will happen with lycaon.

The high hashrate and the wall that fell back from 28 to 8 are not mine.

So someone has spent money soaking up sells and mining,and I assume the sells down to 11 are his,so he is happy to buy at 8.

Interesting.

If he is reading, would you be interested in the WWF Lycaon-pictus adoption scheme  (or other stuff)? I am ready to be part of a group that adopts a little wolf-dog. It is good publicity as well.

findblocks might also be interested, as most mining was via your pool. It would be great publicity.  The dogs are fucking cool as well. Mad as fuck!

No pressure.

Hi, how do i setup the the wallet conf for solo mining? Got 60 mh to try this out. ;-)

I am not sure for solo, unless you mean a private unomp.

I would guess they are more or less the same. I just make a private pool,  so use rpcuser/rpcpassword

rpcuser=Lycaon-pictusrpc
rpcpassword=Thelongpasswordyouget
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcport=4854
gen=0
staking=0

If solo from your desktop, the same as above applies if you set up a daemon as your wallet (strike out gen=0 and staking=0)

Otherwise, assuming you use a wallet, I would guess:

username=Whateveryouchoose
password=Whateveryouchoose
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
rpcport=4854

You do not need much in the .conf, just the minimum.

Typically, depending  on the miner you use, your script would have something like:

./minerd -a x11 -o http://127.0.0.1:4854 -u usernameorrpcusername -p yourrrpcpasswordorwalletpassword

Hit 14 sats a moment ago.

@yavuzc78

deleted yet another one of your malicious trolling posts.

Trolling is okay just for a laugh, but not when done with malice and to deceive others.

The point of Lycaon pictus has been expressed, in this thread and the website

http://lycaon.info

Its point is not to make YOU money or rip people off, or give handouts to people to sell.

AWARENESS

More people in alts know about Lycaon pictus than previously, some of those will possess the ability to feel that Lycaon pictus should be helped out .. to get it off the IUCN "endangered list."

There are links to the WWF, and how you can help Lycaon pictus on this thread (in the anon), the website and Twitter.

Lycaon Pictus trading at about 4-5 satoshi on nova.

I might start a scheme to raise funds for the dogs to go via the WWF Lycaon pictus fundraising.

https://www.worldwildlife.org/species/african-wild-dog

Ideas welcome, but the point of Lycaon pictus is to raise awareness of the African wild dog, and its status as endangered.

Really awesome website Cheesy Hope you stick with this creative idea you have

Thanks.

The dogs are seriously awesome. If I achieve nothing else, I know for sure that Lycaon pictus, aka the African Wolf/Wild Dog, is now known to exist, and be under threat, by a few hundred people more than a week ago. At least some of those will take an interest in its survival

The dogs are something special, really fascinating. There are lots of videos on youtube, they even gang up on big cats and rhinos.

Mad dogs!

Looking at the stats, and as expected given the 20 block difficulty change, POW and POS dominate interchangeably.

This is important to final coin count at 100,000 blocks (since POS blocks pay a fraction of POW blocks, although both count as mined blocks).

Ratio POW / POS over 100 blocks

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gX27hTzTcbOR8W5BRISRxTWl89nzoWXCYIzeXcJXjYc/pub

It looks like about 50/50, which will dramatically alter the final tally.

I am predicting 40,000,000 coins at full PoS.

A reduction of 10,000,000 of my original prediction.

Hashrate at 8 GHZ a moment ago, now on a slide down as  the difficulty drops.

About 50 million will exist in 10 weeks, then it is just PoS.

With the reward increasing every 10,000 blocks of POW, I expect more competition and a higher hashrate.

In terms of price, it was listed on novaexchange for a reason.

If it proves unpopular in bitcoin markets, it has several other markets to investigate.

If somebody takes control of the network and coins, however, that person will be able to set the price in satoshi.

My guess is it will be between 5 - 10 sats on average for the next few weeks.

After 100,000 blocks (10 weeks), I predict around 10 - 25 sats.

On the other hand, it can go low, which means it can play with Espers, Doge, Litecoin et al.

The POW and POS rewards, the length of POW/POS at 100,000, and POS afterwards is an optimum for a crowded market.

It might initially seem like there are unlimited coins, but in 10 weeks it will not.

There will be at most 5,000,000 staked (most coins never get staked) in a year.

So the period becomes stable, or at least offers a chance to mine POS and get modest rewards.

I  could have made it 1 sat a block, but somehow I do not think it would make people desperate for ownership.

NB: To yavuzc78, I gave you every chance to be civil, but you just abused that.  So whatever you post will eventually get deleted from now on.

Project good but no future
How long this coin will die Huh

In fact, any shit like this, from now on will be deleted.

If you have an argument against Lycaon-pictus and are using logic and sensible reasoning, then you should make it.

If you just want to say fucking stupid things like the above, then I will get around to deleting you.

To put it another way, trolling will no longer be tolerated.
