Reading on through the article you shared, it is in good light to have a milk chocolate branded as bitcoin to stamp awareness to Walmart's shoppers.

It is actually nice to finally have bitcoin back in its most affordable state. Now everybody can have a taste to how it feels owning a bitcoin #smiles #winks

But nonetheless, Frankford's chocolate bitcoin would really stir a lot of curiosity to many who have not yet heard of our most favored cryptocurrency. In many ways, it does help promote bitcoin, a necessity we need these days to grow the market stronger.

Bitcoin is always bringing the attention even at Wal-Mart check this out https://techcrunch.com/2018/09/11/walmart-is-now-selling-bitcoins-for-1/?guccounter=1
Sounds funny and maybe not of great interest but that kind of selling propaganda gives 3 good things:

1st) It makes more people to know bitcoin
2nd) The kids start to know there is something out there called Bitcoin
3rd) As it is in chocolate, bitcoin will be engraved in the mind of those who try as a sweet and nice thing.  Cheesy

Thanks for sharing this information. Happy to see the bitcoin in the form of milk chocolate. Walmart done a great soon the awareness need to be there.
This initiative is really awesome we may expect the many people to boom up them on investing on bitcoin.
All will be settled soon and bitcoin will be bumped up for sure.

Nice strategy they got. It is an interesting way to catch the interests of an individuals about bitcoin. Their strategic idea makes bitcoin more popular. Though kids may have confusions as to what really bitcoin is and how can that bitcoin be use. They may be interested but not all kids may understand it well.

I do not like that, because we have spent a lot of time to explain to people that Bitcoin is not a physical coin and now

Walmart is selling cheap candy in a form of a physical Bitcoin to create more confusion. People are having a hard enough time,

trying to understand the Bitcoin concept and the awesome technology behind it, for Walmart to come in and destroying what

we had been trying to explain for years.  Angry

They knew this move was going to get a decent amount of publicity, and they got it.

I mean, look at this LOL. shots fired:

https://i.redd.it/av9i8uj5d0k11.jpg
it doesn't come with a private key of a loaded bitcoin address, does it? Roll Eyes Tongue
Frankford should attach a random private key on each chocolate as a gimmick
they don't even need to load bitcoin into addresses, just generate private key sequentially
then let buyers check the balance on the explorer and steal someone's bitcoin Grin

https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/186c45c1-e335-4ae5-b6ba-447213808627_1.48cdf8b0c92f40d1a2e91feac5a27816.jpeg?odnHeight=450&odnWidth=450&odnBg=FFFFFF

A good idea would be to attach a random private key on the inside of the wrapper(but definitely not sequential), and place a 1 BTC prize on one of those wallets. That would somehow let people have an idea on how bitcoin works.

Yes definitely a prize with an address and at least 1 penny in there would be very cool.

Well, I don't think people would have the motivation on trying out the private keys if all they would get is a penny worth of bitcoin.

I meant 1 penny each one so if you buy 100 chocolates you got $1  Smiley But maybe that $1 worth bitcoin can value more than the $100 spent in the chocolate in the future .

In some country which bitcoin was already adopted many people are using it like here in our country the percentage of people using our local bitcoin wallet is continuous increasing that is why i could say that legalization of bitcoin may helps some country increase their economic. If 1 bitcoin is equal 1 dollar i think only 1 people will buy out all the bitcoin in walmart hahaha

Actualy im not much aware, about this news feed that wallmart sell bitcoin in $1 ,its sound so funny, maybe this is a propaganda and nothing been serious, because its not true and relevant, because in my own thought btc are not so desperate to make the value  lower down, because all happen of bitcoin value would depend only in rhe blockchain market and not the wallmart could decide it.

Hmmm sounds interesting. I think we should look at it positively. I see so many posts here which kind of complaining about why only a few people knows about Bitcoin so if something like Walmart has this sort of promotion about it, then I'll take it as a good way of making people aware about bitcoin.

Publicity is still publicity how little it is , its funny and at the same time happy for bitcoin to have a chocolate, I need one of those and flaunt it in my IG account. Serious note is hope they'll also accept bitcoin not just sell bitcoin soon.

A good promotion for Bitcoin in the eyes of the newbies or people who do not understand but read and heard about Bitcoin, and Walmart is such a huge company, I'm sure it will have a big impact on Bitcoin adoption, every little things adds up to the popularity of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin.

2nd) The kids start to know there is something out there called Bitcoin
Which serves no purpose since at that age you don't care about anything else other than the sweet chocolate  Cheesy

I think Wallmart is trying to spread the word about Bitcoin, no matter how small this may look, it's free publicity at the end of the day, and it could actually serve as a great marketing campaign in the long run, people will start seeing this candy everywhere which could a have psychological effect and before they know it, they're looking up on the internet everything about Bitcoin. Thank you, Wallmart.

The caption is eye catching and also intriguing which will make any body to go for it at Walmart only to discover it is only a candy. Whatever happens the advert will play its role in the mind of the children as they will now be aware of bitcoin whose symbol adored the golden cover of their candy. They will still enjoy their milk saturated candy. Over time their inquisitive mind will move the children to think about knowing more about bitcoin and its use. I will say kudos to Frankford candy  for being an ally of bitcoin and implanting bitcoin into the heart of millions of children that will be enjoying Bitcoin candy .

Haha,

amazing to see this one on the shelf of Walmart. I hope they will soon launch the real bitcoin at the rate 1 dollars! LOL. I know thats impossible but come on this is just perfect one to see coming from the Walmart.

Now soon, huge crowd of the Walmart will start knowing about the Bitcoin in the first place and the advertisement of bitcoin will be done in snap of minutes. This is the beginning of something new and hopefully it will push the market up ahead. At least we can think in that way.
