They are complete morons. Don't know how the got my email address, but they just published it in a spam mail along with 500 other mail-addresses.
I certainly wouldn't trust them with any coins.

I really don't care about WHOIS privacy. It doesn't tell you anything, certainly not a site is a SCAM.

I am in no way saying that the poster is not a scammer... BUT.... using domain privacy doesn't say much one way or the other. Unfortunately, the information in DNS records has been used by those spammers so much that most people jump on the free domain privacy when they buy a domain name.

But, I agree, the people on here should find a more legit service to use. If the poster is in the US, I'd be willing to bet that he is not licensed as a money exchanger, so the Feds could just pick up his equipment at any time anyway.

Maybe we should start sending these scammer website to the feds to look at. Here is their email address: FRC@fincen.gov

I pay $1M per bitcoin. I'm looking for up to 10,000 bitcoins. First-come, first-served! Grin

Put it on moneypaks and send me them, then I'll send you the BTC.

Also... it always amazes me when these for-profit sites include statements like this:

Donations are accepted at 1kqHKEYYC8CQPxyV53nCju4Lk2ufpQqA2

If you're a for profit company, why are you asking for donations?  I certainly don't feel moved to donate to help McDonalds sell their burgers... The way most companies get "donations" is to go public and sell stock.

Thats not the site, they iframed cryptocharts into their webpage and made it seem like part of their site for comparison i guess lol

If you look at his post history he is has been doing nothing since creating his account here but attempt to spam and attempt to con newbies out of their bitcoins with his fake site.
He also has account on LocalBitcoins, and one person has already blocked him for attempting to shift a trade offsite. https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/bitcoins4currency.com/

Looking at the deposit address they provided, he already duped a few people who will likely never see the money or have it reversed at some point in the near future.  With a min. order of 0.5BTC, scam has been structured to get a nice amount of BTC in short period of time.

Some googling/whois reveals the creator of this has been slowly building up their scam since start of this year.

He should get a scammer tag / banned on here.

I won't even click on untrusted sites these days. Too much chance they are trying to run some nasty javascript to access other sites ....

Only one way to check.

Or maybe that's not such a great idea.
