Defeating Phoenix Suns 3 times in a row is so much of a hard task even with Kawhi Leonard playing or not. That's what Clippers fans should admit.

The ball is round but we can't just apply it to the current Clipper's situation. Ivica Zubac is also questionable on Game 5 making it tougher to face the healthy Suns.

Not an either Clippers or Suns fan here but I'm hoping for the series extension.

Wait, I thought Kawhi was out of the rest of the playoffs, I didn't know he could come back in a possible game 6 or 5, he just had a sprain, I don't think it's too bad.
If Leonard returns, the Clippers have a good chance of beating the Suns
That's what I thought but this is just rumor circulating around and it isn't yet official AFAIK. I'm certain the luck may have run out for Clippers with the 0-2 deficit series they got for 1st and 2nd round but also hoping they can win this thing, always hoping for their best.

He could play but not in game 5, so I would say the time is up and I think he just needs to rest after game 5 as the Suns will not allow the Clippers to come back and threaten them again. The Suns understand that if they will allow the Clippers to win, that would create a major problem for them as Leonard might be able to play, so it's now or never, Suns in 5.
Yeah,  Suns will have to defeat Clippers again to clinch the series, although Clippers is down, they are a good team, there as games that should go either, as @stadus have said, missed free throws by George, the "valley oop" to Ayton, and even the last game they are in the position to win. But it was just the breaks of the game. So expect the same intensity in tonight's game still 50/50.

Been seeing those "SUNS IN FIVE" all over social media but it isn't end yet for Clippers but of course it's their home court that they just defended from their first two games. Been hearing as well that Kawhi is playing on game 6 and if they can get the game 5 win, there's still chance for them. Fingers crossed.

Considering Kawhi is not there yet, I believe there is going ot be easily some sort of Suns domination. It is not guaranteed because in the basketball world we can always have people who would be capable of turning the games in a second, like let's say Paul George suddenly goes nuclear and he hits 7-8 shots in a row back to back? Those type of things can change things very easily.

However I do not believe that will be the case this game, it is obvious that Suns are just too good. I am super excited about Chris Paul finally being in the finals, I hope they win because CP3 definitely deserves a title. Not many may remember but CP3 was about to go to Lakers and NBA stepped up and said that would be too much of a power for a team when Pau Gasol and Kobe was there, so we could have seen CP3 win multiple rings with that team if the league didn't blocked it.

Honestly, I do not see the Suns had dominated the Clippers so far, maybe if we look at the series score they look dominated but in the details of the game, it was a close game, a winnable game by the Clippers, both in game 2 and game 4, the Clippers has a chance to win but their executions are not that effective so they lost. It's actually an exciting series, so I would not be surprised if the Clippers will pull a surprise in game 5 again, or just hit the point spread.

That's new to me. I had no idea that Chauncey was accused of sexual harassment before. Was it even out in the news before or they kept it?

It's been known for a while, why do you think he's had trouble landing a job as GM or head coach the last couple of years, best he could do was assistant for the Clippers, or doing stuff for ESPN. It's hard when you have something like that on your resume...
Now I know the reason why he is on and off-air with ESPN. I thought he will be regular there but found out he was an assistant coach for a team.
Then now, he is the new head coach of the Trail Blazers. My goodness.

I really hope he is good at his coaching style only and not with sexual harassment anymore.
I'd give him a chance but hands-off to any body, I mean anybody.   Grin

I'm not aware of this news either, but I believe in 2nd chances so let's give him a chance. Billups is a great player, he won a championship back then with the Pistons, so definitely his experience and knowledge will be able to help especially on the defense side as that's what the Blazers really need at the moment.

I think the Clippers will be eliminated in game 5.
Without Leonard they are inconsistent offensively.
I don't trust Paul George as much as Leonard down the stretch. Those missed free throws are costing them too much.
While the Suns have the perfect momentum in going all the way to the Finals.
Now, the odds are interesting. I guess it's best to put a bet on Clippers +6 point spread as the series had always a close game. 6 points might be a huge lead for the Suns to win the game.

Yeah, those free throws really cost them this series but I still give the Clippers a fighting chance this game5 with the way they play game 4. It could have gone to their side if only they shoot a high percentage in the first half of that game. Even though they are down by a double-digit but still they made it close in the dying seconds. Besides it is hard to close out a series as they always say so with the current odds the Clippers are in, I'm rooting for them to extend this series to six games.

It will be exciting if the Clippers will win in game 5, but the odds are against the Clippers already, they'll be playing with high pressure since one loss their journey will be over. In addition, this is a different arena and they have not won a single game here in the playoffs,  so I would say it's tough for them but of course, they still have a chance, but a very slim chance.

Bet atleast +10 to Clippers or -5 to Suns for safe bets, Just like what you said, Suns will try to end this game to get huge time to rest in preparation for the finals. Usually players of the losing didn’t want to even the score once the lead is so big for the last match of the series. Paul George is not a consistent scorer that’s why they are having some problem on closing the game especially when they are attempting to get the score lead.

There's no such thing as a safe bet here, The Suns might be able to finish the series and will dominate the Clippers, so that +10 is just nothing. I don't see a reason why the Suns would still allow the Clippers to stay alive, this is their best chance, the Clippers are still underman, they need to get the business done.

Game 5 for Clippers vs Suns.

This is it, we might see the journey of the Clippers end, or they will give a headache to the Suns again. We never know that's why the game is really exciting to watch. Still, there's no news on Leonard, so let's assume that he will still not gonna play in this game, Clippers need to win or they'll go home.

Suns should take this win on their home court, no way that they want to go back to LA again. They should get a win and then take a rest again and wait for the Eastern CF between Hawks vs Bucks. So there's a lot of advantage for them.

If Clippers win this game, then obviously the series will be extended and we don't want, barring any circumstances that a major injury will happen to either of the teams star. Just like what we witnessed with Trae Young in today's game. They almost had it, until that freak accident involving one of the referee. So I'm with the Suns to win the end the series.

Clippers needs to win in 2 homecourt in order to beat the Suns, I think it's unlikely because Suns are really good at home. They might win one but they'll not be able to make it to the next 2 games. We don't know what will happen here but it's the Suns will likely win the series.

Since this is a close-out game, I expect a very low-scoring game like what we witness before.

He can't miss, he was the reason why the Bucks were able to pull away because his 3 point shooting is hitting.

If only Middleton will remain consistent, the Bucks might easily disposed the Hawks, he needs more shooting attempts because he is a great shooter and Bucks has a lot of good defenders on the floor so their opponent will really struggle.

Giannis, Holiday, and Tucker, these 3 are really working hard on the floor, they can also score at the same time but they can surely limit the star player of the opposiing team.

I agree, let the trio orchestrate the defense and allow Middleton to provide more on their offensive end,
Bucks will easily bring the Hawks down if they'll manage to build a better system for this.

More on the Bucks side, Giannis can easily demolished whoever the man in front of him, Either Capella or Collins,
Giannis always have the advantage, he have speed against big men and strong body for those who are smaller than him.

Bucks have this series if Young's injury is deep serious.

Though he was already injured he still chooses to play, and that's shows his heart as a leader.

Clint Capela was correct when he says ;

You can tell who is the real leader.
Whoa! That's foul! Technical!  Grin That's correct, he never gave up and came back from the locker room even with a hurt ankle.
Although he is trying so bad to move, his face reactions still says it's hurting so bad. But he didn't give up on his team and those players will respect him more for doing that.
He didn't even show a bad personality even though he badly want to win that game in their homecourt.
Trae still did pretty great before the injury with 35 points.

Trae is still very young and already is a good leader, his leadership is proven more in the playoffs as he helps his team to be in the ECF. Getting respect from the veterans is so fulfilling on his part, and there is news also saying that Capela is, even more, better when he started playing with young.

that's correct, and that should be your attitude especially if you are being paid millions of dollars, that also makes you love by the fans, you are not giving up, unlike harden signature defense the swiping hands in the air, I like trae attitude and he's going to get better, in the coming years for sure, excited for this guy.
