Wall is going DOWN.

300's here we come.

Bears rejoice, our time has come !

Really? What are you people gonna do? Buy tons of Bitcoins at 380 or sit on the forum crying all day how we will go down because you want cheap coins at 280?
I think i know.

I pretty much havent changed my position for quite a while. Until we see maximum pain, i think it'll continue to tumble.

This market is hell-bent on shaking out the bagholders and lottery-ticket types. 275-350 would do the trick, imo. Then, i'll turn bullish when i see some major volume buying.

Well, i will surely buy some BTC when they hit 10$ mark:)

No you won't. Because either 1) we will only get to 50 or 2) because if we're at 10, you'll want at 2.

WHy only 50?=)

But yeh,  you are right, i will not buy at 10$, because if BTC hit this mark, it will mean BTC story is over  and it will not recover ...

It is the most fucked up situation ever though as theres no way to rally without China because as soon as the price difference increases enough the arbers will dump on Stamp

420 will be tested within 12hrs. It might be briefly breached but 420 is very strong resistance and will HODL!

Brace yourselves!

Looking at huobi it seems like 420 might not even be tested (bitstamp)

This is just more consolidation. We might go up a few, down a few, etc. etc. The bid sums on the exchanges above 400 are shallow. Its only going to take one more major leg down to finally test 400.  Could come over a nervous weekend, could come on some more bad "news" (ie excuse) next week. That wall on Bitstamp will get its chance within the next 7-10 for sure.

i happen to agree entirely with your outlook. and also with the way you write news(i.e excuse) - i think alot of people do not understand this point.

Good call windjc...so how low do you think we go from here? i am not expecting much of a bounce yet..Huobi seems to have perfected the art of uncertainty...still feel we have not reached the bottom.

Usually i would agree about the bottom 100%, but this whole china thing is so fucked up that i would not be shocked if it was.

Feels risky to short, but too soon to buy

Chill guys.

Much of the China BTC account closing has already been factored in the price.

Bullshit. Every time there is news from China we go down more. Every time it's like the sheep just heard about it for the first time.
That's why it really sucks only 1 bank has come out now. Next week another one and another one and the reaction will be the same every time: omg paaaanic seeeelll omg China banned Bitcooooin!
Bitcoin traders are some dumbest people i can think of.

Translation of the Huobi announcement from Reddit:

Quote
Announcement on the Temporary Cessation of Deposits via ICBC Cards on Huobi
Dear Huobi users:
Latest news from Huobi:
At roughly 10:00am today, we received notice from the Zhongguancun Branch of ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank) that they had been notified by operations management to cease providing service to Huobi, and would be closing Huobi's ICBC account by April 18.
At roughly 10:30, several of the Huobi partners rushed to the Zhongguancun Branch of Huobi to communicate with the Customer Manager.
The situation is as follows:
They did truly receive notice from higher up at the bank, requesting a halt to our ICBC Zhongguancun Account, effective April 18
The notice was an oral notice. The branch has not received anything in writing
When asked why other banks had not sent out the same notice, the response was that different banks may be interpreting policies in different ways, and may have different levels of sensitivity
When asked if there was any room for maneuvering, the answer was that there was none. The order had come from above, and there was nothing to discuss
When asked how to handle user funds in the future, the answer was that we could shift our funds to a different commercial bank, but not ICBC.
We asked the Customer Manager to provide his views on the Bitcoin policy and related matters, but since they did not represent ICBC's views, and had little direct bearing on Huobi's operations, they will not be explained point-by-point in this notice.
Today at 12:00, we rushed back to the office to release this notice. Before release of this notice, we did not notify any users or organizations in advance. Please keep an eye on this.
Huobi will officially suspend deposits through its ICBC Zhongguancun Branch account next Monday (April 14)(this will not affect users withdrawing cash from ICBC. We will use accounts at other banks to transfer the funds to your account). At present, this does not affect other banks. Huobi will release any new information immediately.

Weird wording at the end.

So does that make sense to you, or do you want to grill me some more to attempt to figure our whether I am pulling your leg.. or not following a sound practice or you want to criticize some thing that I am doing or to suggest that I am either lying to myself or incompetent or some negative motives or you want to try to suggest some other investment strategy or you are engaging in Monday morning quarter-backing?

In any event, hopefully, I have clarified sufficiently for you to understand my earlier statement(s).

By the way, What's your story?   Do you have some personal investment details that you can share (sort of a quid pro quo)?  Surely people have different investment approaches, depending upon when they got in, their risk profile, their other investments and maybe even depending on their reasons for getting in.  Part of my original motivation remains my current motivation and that is to diversify or hedge my dollar investments.  I feel that I have way too much of my total investments in the dollar.

I grilled you some, so I suppose I could give you a little back: I had a decent amount of bitcoin that I bought for an average of $5, held straight through the first bubble. I sold at $200 originally, then when I saw all the buying pressure at $266 bought back in, and started selling all the way up in small but increasing amounts once we hit about 400 (started too early, for sure). I sold everything leftover that I was willing to sell (which was still a good chunk of it) at a little over 1000 based on some sentiment indicators: my friend who never gave a shit about bitcoin suddenly asked if he should buy (I told him no, of course), I read a bitcoin market analyst who a lot of people listen to (you can see some of his analysis being regurgitated by people on this forum) call a 3300 top, and because I noticed that buying pressure subsided substantially after 1000. If you look back, I was dropping warning hints that maybe people shouldn't be so overzealous a little ways after we broke 1000. After the initial double top and drop, I was told I was just lucky, which, who knows? That could very well be the case.

I BEGGED you assholes to dump on the dead cat bounce and buy back when $400 was retested. You could have increased your BTC holdings without spending an extra dime.

Says the asshole who was insulting other people's mums when everybody with half brain could saw it's going below 600$.

Fuck off you moron, don't play the smart arse game here..

Is he not allowed to switch gears ?

He's been very consistent since he turned short-term bear, he hasnt flip-flopped.

He's been mostly an ass... even though, he may have had a few posts that contained some civility and common courtesy.

lol the bullcult is hilarious, you devour anyone who breaks rank. Kind of like joining the mafia.
