Ever since Chelsea utilized their new signees, I think they have improved in Premier League for the past 2 weeks, they have not lost a single match, and looking at Fulham, they have lost two matches in a row which signifies that they are getting weak or something is actually wrong somewhere. If Chelsea should move on that momentum, they would conquer Fulham with a clean sheet.

The clean sheets isn't our problem at the moment, we need goals. We have been lacking in the goal department and that's what has been making use lose most of our games. Our previous attacking players barely get us any goals or goals contributions. With the new signings I believe all that will change and Fulham should just be like a training exercises for the squad to understand themselves better for our champions league games coming up in February.

Liverpool on the other hands aren't looking any way better, I think alot has to be done in their current squad for them to get something out of if this season. They have to fire their manager and bring in new signings that they're actually in need of like in the midfield instead of if all the signings they have been doing lately which are all flopping.
In this match between Chelsea and Fulham, Chelsea will definitely be ahead. Because Chelsea definitely play better football than Fulham. But Fulham are also in good form this time, they will also fight the best.

Chelsea should absolutely be more effective in their attacking line from now on. Their main problem has been related to scoring and these transfers should be helpful from now on.

The Fulham game must be a starting point for Chelsea. This time I don't think Fulham will manage to get any point. Chelsea got a red card back then and it made things easier for Fulham to get ahead of them. But here I expect a solid game by Chelsea and hopefully they won't be bad at finishing as well. I can't wait to see the new talent Mudryk playing in the future games too. He will hopefully play a big role in the team.

It was a sad loss for Liverpool but I think this team needs to think. At the moment they have regressed to a not very good ranking in the league, actually the quality of the squad deserves to be in much better places, but the performance of the team is quite low. They also failed in the FA Cup.
They don't have much hope for this season either. I think they need to make a transfer urgently, the team can only be refreshed that way Smiley
The current crisis at Liverpool just keeps going on and on. I honestly can't point out the possible cause of the massive decline is form for Liverpool, they are making signings but still no turn around of form so I keep wondering what could be the cause and it just feels like Klopp has also lost that touch. It’s as if they are under a curse.
Even though at this time they are required to play a good game especially soon their schedule will be quite tight with the reopening of the knock out phase in the Champions League and facing the club that is now the defending champion.
The last 6 matches that Liverpool have run in all competitions have only ended with 1 win and of course 2 defeats to Brighton at this time is still proof that they are still lacking in consistency but fortunately their defeat was not as embarrassing as their meeting in the league continued.

If only the team was lacking behind in attackers, I will say that there wouldn't be any changes because as it stands now, hoping on mount and harvert is a bet on the wrong horse.  Why we shouldn't talk about time is because they both has been incessantly used since the beginning of the season but there aren't any changes. No one among them could score a brace, not to talk more of a hattrick. The best of harvert and mount will be seen again in the next season, for now it's time for the new attackers to prove their worth .
But when we talk about Chelsea's current attack line, there are still many options they can do, especially with the arrival of new players like Joao, Mudryk and of course Nkunku now.
Even though Joao and Mudryk are still not making a good contribution at the moment, it is possible that they will be able to adapt quickly.
As for Havertz, even though he is very good, his ideal position is not there because indeed he is used as a striker because there are no better strikers now even though Sterling and Auba have been there before.

In the past 3 seasons in the premier league, there have been many schedule upsets, such as the world cup and the pandemic break. Many players were affected by this and the results at the end of the season were affected as well. Do you think the upset would result in reasonable decisions and a change in football and the performance of the players if it continues?

There are events that are unavoidable, we couldn't control the Pandemic but even at that, they schedule Premier League matches, only the fans weren't allowed to come to the pitch to come watch, and the death of the queen also made them suspended Premier League for two weeks matches in respect and honor to the queen, the World Cup is also events that the world and Football federation all want to see happened, some of these things are unavoidable but we must move on; on the aspect of World Cup, all the players who went to play were all paid, I don't think there is any negative effect by representing your country.

With Mount and K. Havertz leading your attack, how can you hope for any goals. These guys play or shot as though, they've got no target practice in their training sessions. It's more if a "let me just shot this way and maybe the post might be that direction and hopefully the goalkeeper would be caught off-gaurd". I clearly don't see what they are doing nor do I see anyone that could make them better.
Hopefully, the new signings in the team could bring the team to its best. It was impressive when J. Felix played although, he caught a red card.  Ziyech needs to bring some of that performance and Chelsea might be unto something.

Paying close attention to pictupicture re age will uncover a lot of things on how the match went, even though Liverpool was behind with one goal difference in the match which is bad enough for Liverpool with their current standing in this season, some times I can't stop but to wonder if the current Liverpool is the same club that played so well in the last season and Liverpool crisis can be trace to a number of factors such as.
: The club inability the sign the best of players in the last transfer window to replace their old players.
: lack of unionism among the players due to internal politics, this has affected some payer's motivation.

I don't blame the Managers for trusting this guys to lead the Chelsea attack, it isn't like they haven't done it successfully before. Just two seasons back this guys lead Chelsea into winning about 3 trophies and the champions league was included. I just think they aren't be used right and they're now playing with a different face then when they had Timo Werner at the sterling position. And back the Timo Werner does all the off ball runs to draw players towards him while giving this guys the opportunity to score goals.

With Mudryk or Felix replacing sterling, I think this guys will pick back their form. Also our coach has to realized that havertz doesn't suit the main striker role. He has to be playing behind a number 9 for his full potential to be reviewed. I still don't understand why Graham Potter doesn't play a typical striker upfront like Aubameyang or Fofana then Havertz and Mount behind this strikers.

Liverpool's decline in form this season is really shocking, the number of games and points lost this season is alarming. At this point I think Liverpool should forget about making an impact in all competitions this season because I doubt they will be able to eliminate Real Madrid in the Champions league come February. Good game for Brighton and a well deserved result, their hard work is paying off for them.

Liverpool is in the same position as Chelsea, who stand in the 10th position. Aston Villa is in the 11th position, while Crystal Palace stands in the 12th position. I am not a fan of Liverpool, but I am not seeing them less; they are still 5 points above Crystal Palace and 12 points above Wolves, so they can do better. The 7th Premier League match of February would be Wolves hosting Liverpool at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England, and that's on February 4, 2023. Wolves are in 17th place on the league table, 12 points away from Liverpool. I believe Liverpool is going to win the game and gain few points, unless Chelsea wins Fulham on February 3, 2023, and acquires more points as well.

From Liverpool's performance in the FA Cup against Wolves, it was really great, and if they can do it again, they are probably going to step up further on the Premier League table. @SatoPrince, prepare to see Liverpool up on their feet again on the 4th of next month.

Joao Felix still seems to be suspended of a red card. The funny thing is that he got the red card against Fulham and Chelsea's next match is against them once more now.  Grin  But even if he was able to play in this match I wouldn't have expected him to make a similar mistake again of course. Felix isn't a bad player and we all saw how ambitious he was even in his first match with Chelsea. I was criticizing Potter about his preferring Felix in the starting eleven right away but we saw him playing effectively until the red card.

In his absence there will still be Mudryk who is another new transfer on the field. After giving positive signals in his first appearance he might be in the starting eleven this time. He should be as well because he would be very useful in improving their scoring ability.

Newcastle are still maintaining an impressive form by not losing a single game for many weeks. However they started to get draws quite often recently.

I think their next game will end up with a victory for Newcastle. West Ham have been horrible for weeks and they barely got their first win last week after a long time. I don't think they can resist Newcastle away this week. Newcastle have proven themselves about how eager they are to make it to the Champions League. I don't expect to see them losing points in this one.
Westham are not so good at the time so meeting Newcastle will be a tough one for them. In my opinion Newcastle have a better chance to win on this game but I will not underestimate Westham as anything can happen in the EPL and Westham could put up a shocking result.

Can we just also get Jadon Sancho returning back for that game, it'll be painfully interesting to see him back drilling those defender's off them feets and displacing em off balance.

Its not happening. Sancho wasnt in the FA cup yesterday so he wont be playing in the next game as well. Pretty sure that Ten Hag wont be putting his name in the first team yet if he hasnt do any drill back and so far nothing is being reported about him starting the drill after taking those days off. Its either day off or whatever happened to him as there isnt any real information about him so far

Liverpool on the other hands aren't looking any way better

Speaking of Liverpool, they lost against Brighton today

I'm feeling very positive about Manchester United's win against Crystal Palace on this match week. I also remember their previous matchup in which Manchester United could have even lost the match. They could have won there if they had their usual scoring performance. I really liked their big effort against Arsenal anyway later on. This seemed promising for this match as well. In Old Trafford we watch a far different Manchester United. They are one of the strongest home teams currently as you know - 7W 1D 1L.

Here in this stadium I don't expect Crystal Palace to be much effective. Manchester United should have the control in their hands and finish them off.

The game against Crystal Palace ? That should be three points for Manchester United, we've got to do everything within our reach to ensure we remain in top four so we can get good transfer busy window.

Kudos to Arsenal they won the game, but Manchester United would have had an edge above Arsenal if Casemiro was present. Same tactics used to win Manchester City would have been used likewise.

I also agree. Manchester United have the ability to beat Manchester City. Since Manchester United lost their previous match, they will want to give their best to beat City in this match.

In the last meeting between these two clubs, Crsytal Palace escaped being beaten by Manchester United. This time around they may not escape it. Even though Crystal Palace will put up a good fight as usual. But Manchester United will be more resilient and formidable in the midfield against Palace.
But in England nothing is too sure, however the Erik Ten Hag guys are on a good form.

If Spurs lose again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium then it will be no stranger because previously it was the same as Manchester City can always beat Spurs under any circumstances, about the audience seats I don't think all Spurs fans are there but for sure there are always Manchester City fans on the side to support his favorite team.

Even though this is playing as the home ground for Tottenham Hotspurs, I myself prefer Manchester City as the betting odds, I think for the second time in the Premier League, my prediction is that Tottenham will not be able to win again.
Of course I want another surprise.
I also think Manchester City will take home all three points when they face Tottenham in the second leg fixture in the league. Tottenham are not good defensively as we witnessed in the first leg how they threw away a two goal lead and conceded four goals in the end, I think Manchester City will capitalize on this weakness again in the second leg.

What an exciting game! Brighton defeated holders Liverpool thanks to a last-minute goal from Kaoru Mitoma. The Seagulls showed great tenacity and determination in coming from behind to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup. Mitoma's magic and exquisite close control on the ball resulted in the game-winning goal, earning him Man of the Match honors. Brighton have won consecutive games against Liverpool for the first time, and the Reds have exited the FA Cup at this stage for the fifth time in seven years. The Seagulls earned their victory!
Without more context, it's unclear what Liverpool FC needs to do. However, in general, the team may need to address any issues with their on-field performance and try to improve their results. This could include modifying the squad, tactics, or training regimen.

I don’t think the league is redeemable for Liverpool. Klopps men has really been awful this season and even if they started badly this season I have always never written them off, but right now I think the league has gone beyond them.

Liverpool are ninth on the English premier league standings, out of all available competitions apart from the Uefa champions league and they are facing the wrath of Real Madrid. I don’t even see them making top 4.
Liverpool performance this season is really surprising to be in this manner.  Liverpool was one of the best team in last season but this season Premier league is hard for them to win most of games. I feel it is too late to still hope on Liverpool to improve their performance.
