We have seen very good performances from Bochum players in the last few matches. The team continues to strive to stay away from the relegation zone. Bochum is only 3 points ahead of Union Berlin, so Bochum still has a chance of falling into the relegation zone.

Although Leverkusen's away match, Leverkusen's players are very confident. They want to go undefeated and win the Bundesliga title. And this is what Leverkusen's players are performing for. Leverkusen got a 2-0 lead in the first half. And I don't think Leverkusen has any chance of dropping points in this match at the moment. Schick's goal in the 41st minute and Boniface's goal in the 45+2 minute led the team.

It was almost a year ago that Leverkusen last tasted defeat against Bochum and today they will face Bochum again in the away match in Week 33 of the Bundesliga. This will definitely be a memorable match where Leverkusen will always remember their last crushing defeat and they definitely don't want that to happen again against Bochum.

For us, it is clear that Leverkusen will fulfill their unbeaten record of 50 matches in all competitions and they must be able to beat Bochum today. I don't think there will be any problems for Leverkusen and they will only get closer to another title they will get. Maybe I will be a little curious, can we see Leverkusen win in injury time again like they have done in the last few matches.
A lot of transformation has happened with Bayern Leverkusen I can tell you with absolute certainty that this result is not possible. Instead of Bayern Leverkusen to lose three zero to Bochum, the reverse will be the case because the Bayern Leverkusen of last season is not the same as that of today. The result of the match is currently two goals to zero against Bochum in the first half and with Bochum receiving a red card, it simply means Bayern Leverkusen will score more goals. I am more convinced now that the Unbeaten record of Bayern Leverkusen will be a reality this season. The moment AS Roma failed to win them, I realized that they are destined not to lose any match this season.

Leverkusen looks like they will maintain their record after in the ongoing match they were able to take the lead, and not only superior in goals, they could also be superior in number of players after Bochum played with only 10 men from the 15th minute. There is no doubt for Leverkusen now, that they will can win this match easily.
Since before this match, it really looked like they were going to win, because the opponent they will face is a team that is not very strong and can only compete at the bottom of the standings and now they are also struggling so that they don't get relegated. In my opinion, they will maintain their lead in the first half until the match ends, and they should also be able to increase their lead in the second half. Even though they have confirmed themselves as champions in the Bundesliga, they have not reduced their performance and continue to play well in every match. Maybe they are not as aggressive as usual, but they can maintain their consistency well in every match.

The three quick goals pulled the plug pretty quickly though. There was no coming back for Dortmund and Mainz knew that if they concentrate on their defense, they got the 3 points they need. This game was worth a bet in my eyes, but I didn't place one. Wink
Mainz were determined to win after realizing how lose Dortmund was in the game, they gave no room for exploit for Dortmund attackers and the got the result they wanted. I like how Mainz took advantage in the early minutes of the game that got them 3 goals and they stood their ground not to throw the lead away till the end of the match now they have moved passed the relegation zone.

Mainz played a great game, had an unusual conversion rate of their chances and scored all those goals so early on that Dortmund gave it up. Everyone knows what it takes to come back into a game when a team is 3 goals down and I think that was the moment when the players decided that it is not the day to prove to the world how strong they mentally are. They would have had to give everything they had, but knowing that a Champions League final is waiting, I doubt that a player would be willing to go 110%. But that's what's needed to get back into the game.

There was a lot of uproar after the game. Maybe it's the right thing to do by the commentators, but everyone who said they don't understand what's going on, is a blatant lier.

Hoffenheim vs Darmstadt
       6        -       0

Freiburg was unable to win the last match and Hoffenheim has taken full advantage of that. of course, everyone expected them to win this match but I do not think anyone expected them to win this match with such ease. now they have been able to get to the seventh position of the table ahead of Freiburg. and the position is the place for the team to take part in the Europa Conference League qualifiers. It is going to be kind of a surprise to me if they actually finish ahead of Freiburg. But at the same time, I do not think they are going to give up that advantage that they have right now. The problem is they are going to play their last match against Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is not in any mood of losing in the Bundesliga. Compared to that Freiburg has a far easier match to play. Which is against Union Berlin

Yes, I understand their position which prioritizes the Champions League over the Bundesliga now, but still the defeat they experienced was quite disappointing, because the team they faced was a relatively weak team this season and they had to accept a 3 goal defeat without reply.
With the quality they have, they should not have lost with a crushing score like that. Maybe I would accept if they only lost narrowly, like 1-0 for example. And in this match you have to lose and also without being able to score a goal.
Before they play the Champions League, in my opinion they also have to focus on moral preparation too, one of which is by playing well in their closest match.
yeah, it was really frustrating and disappointing. Even though it wasn't their usual starting lineup, they should have been able to beat a team like Mainz, who are fighting relegation. But Mainz had just beaten Dortmund, as they knew how to take advantage of the situation. It seems like Dortmund struggles against Mainz towards the end of the season. It almost feels like Dortmund intentionally lost this game, especially considering the odds.
Dortmund kept their main players out because they're are focusing on the Champions League final against Real Madrid. They're saving their best for last, but shouldn't they also be concerned about making top 4 in Bundesliga? They're currently 5th in the table, so they can't afford to start resting players too early. This game just seemed to overwhelm them, as Mainz outplayed them throughout.

This was pretty unexpected in my opinion. I thought Dotmond should have been able to win this match without too many complications. But the exact opposite happened in this match. Now I understand why these things might happen. Dortmund is definitely playing in the champions league in the next season anyway.

So I believe they are trying to keep the players that are very much important for the squad and also is going to play in the final of the Champions League healthy. There is no doubt that this loss was actually embarrassing for them. but I don't think they actually care about it. I also do not think that the fans of Dund care either. Because all they want to see right now from them to win the champions league final. And let’s be honest, they have nothing else to achieve in this season. They are suddenly not going to do a lot of things by improving their performance in the Bundesliga because the Bundesliga title has already been confirmed. So of course they are thinking about the champions league. But I think the performance from Dortmund should have been better in this match regardless.

Bayern Munich are 2-0 up now and it looks like they will be able to win this match considering that the match time will not be long. However, to be honest, there was nothing special about Bayern Munich's game in this match, but they should be grateful because they were able to score 2 goals in this match.

Wolfsburg could actually handle Bayern Munich's game, but they couldn't immediately concentrate at the start of the game so they had to concede goals very quickly in the 4th minute and 13th minute. Bayern Munich must start focusing on their journey next season, they have very good attackers, but they have to do a lot of evaluation, especially in their defensive area.

If this score lasts until the end, then they can bounce back because they lost in the previous match. Once again, if they want to become champions, they must be able to play better than this season, because their threat is Leverkusen, who will most likely have the same performance as this season.

I'm not surprised at all because Dortmund have already confirmed a place in the Champions League for next season, and it is also predicted to be an advantageous match for Mainz who have currently managed to get out of the relegation playoff zone, but the number of goals scored by Mainz is the big surprising because it was three goals without reply, even though Dortmund controlled possession of the ball, there wasn't much they could do.
Mainz benefited from the conditions faced by Dortmund, and in the last match against Wolfsburg they only needed one point to remain in their current position and make Union Berlin compete in the relegation playoff and if Union Berlin manage to win then they will remain in this division, looking at what happened to Union Berlin is quite pathetic.
Bayern Leverkusen and Dortmund are clearly two clubs with varying strengths, with Bayern Leverkusen on top of the duo. Bayern Leverkusen competed against Roma yesterday in the second leg of the semi finals clash of the UEL and were unbeaten back to a draw but still advanced on aggregates to the final.

On the other hand, Dortmund were fortunate enough to had played, won and qualified against PSG to the final of the UCL and although their level of play is top notch in the Champions League, it is not compared to this Bundesliga season because of the disparaging level of competition. With Dortmund making it to the finals, they have to win against Real Madrid in order to get the trophy.

For me I think their qualification to the final which has earned them a chance to get a free ticket to next season's European contest at thesame time as their position on the league table has placed them comfortably in that spot of featuring in the UCL, that's why they felt they had and have the leisure to give off outright good performance to waste. Well me thinking they'd try to stay in top form like Leverkusen just to at least gain a bit of confidence boost ahead of their clash with Madrid but they're just in their own self. Hopefully the game results well for them.

He did great, maybe he will be a good partner with Harry Kane next season, I'm expecting Bayern Munich to sign him up too. He has been linked to clubs in the Premier League Competition but all these have cooled down since the second half of the season. Or could it be ever since he got Injured?

I think it would be a wise move for Bayern Munich to go for Guirassy. He is like the most reasonable player in the market, a cheap release clause and a great talent for scoring.  Smiley  But there is another thing here. If Guirassy goes there it is really difficult for him to find a chance while there is Kane. The only way to play often is Bayern Munich to use a formation with 2 strikers.

I assume they wouldn't prefer a formation like that. Guirassy would be Kane's direct alternative in that case. Choupo-Moting would leave then I assume. I wonder what Guirassy would think about not playing regularly there.

Bayern Munich will face Wolfsburg this week, the match will be held in the next few minutes. Last week in the Bundesliga they had to lose to Stuttgrat and they had to be eliminated from the Champions League because they had to lose to Real Madrid in the second leg with a score of 2-1 and making the aggregate 4-3.

This is a match that they should be able to win, because their opponent is Wolfsburg, which is not considered quite weak. However, they still have to be careful, because Wolfsburg can perform well in the last 3 matches they played by winning 3 consecutive wins.

Bayern Munich no longer have a title to fight for, this is a very bitter season for them because they have to end the season without a trophy. However, they must be able to play well in the remaining matches, they must be able to win even though this will have no effect on them. Because if they lose, it will make them seen as a team that is performing badly this season.
Soon the match between Munich and Wolfsburg will begin, on paper of course Munich are very favorite to win the game, in the previous match Munich suffered a bad defeat to Stuttgart after Munich kept almost all their main players in the match for face Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals, but after a hard and difficult struggle it turned out that Munich failed to continue their journey in the Champions League,  today will of course be a momentum for Munich to take revenge for the defeats in the previous two games, so I think Munich will field their main squad today to face Wolfsburg even though the result no longer affects Munich this season.

Munich will play at the Allianz Arena and surely they will not make their fans sad just because they get a defeat in the game later, although the game will no longer be important but at least Bayern Munich will try their best to provide a good spectacle for the supporters today, besides of course Tuchel who has been looked down on badly this season after all his failures certainly wants to at least make a better impression ahead of his sacking It will be probably happen.

I get your perspective that Dortmund didnt play hard against Mainz. Avoiding injury and exhaustion is wise ahead of the Champions League final. Real Madrid is no easy opponent, therefore they must be at their best. The rotation of important players by Edin Terzic was smart. The London showdown is the greater picture right now. This win saves Mainz, right? Gaining those three points must be a relief after trying to avoid relegation. You can image the relief and rejoicing! Low-lying clubs' seasons can be defined by instances like this.

Leverkusen will try to maintain their unbeaten record this season at Bochum headquarters. Victory over Bochum will bring Leverkusen almost close to a record of being unbeaten in the League for one season, they only need a victory over Augsburg in the last match to reach the record set by Arsenal in 2003/04. Bochum must be careful with Leverkusen strength this season, the strength of Xabi Alonso troops is much improved compared to when they were defeated last season.
Leverkusen certainly really wants to avenge their defeat last season, but they have to play at full strength because Bochum is very strong when playing at home, they only lost three of 16 matches when playing at home.

I didn't know about that, but this is an astounding fact you shared here. But it shows how much is possible within a relatively short period of time. Alonso turned over every stone and established new players perfectly while getting the best out of those that are still there.

But what would we all be thinking if history repeats itself and Bochum beats Leverkusen 3-0 in this game?  Shocked Not that I think it is possible, but it would be a funny turn of events.

The surprising result was to see Dortmund play without putting up any resistance or they tried to play it safe because they didn't want to be too aggressive as they tried to prepare against Madrid in the final. Even though Mainz won, they still need 1 more win to stay away because Union Berlin will try their best to maximize their last chance against Freiburg.

For Leverkusen, what will be most important for them playing against Bochum will be the ability to maintain their records of staying unbeaten because as it regards the title there are already the winners so they just have to maintain their records and not necessarily look to win Bochum because it will actually not really have any consequences if they draw but loosing will only affect their records which I think they don't want.

Bochum is just four points away from relegation playoffs but a victory in this game is definitely going to help them stay far above the relegation more by seven points which will mean they have been able to get an advantage away from relegation on the table but a draw or loss wouldn't get to do much for them and that's why they seem to be trying to make sure they can get something off this game but then I know that this may not be that chance that will help salvage them of their impending relegation chances as Leverkusen isn't even looking like their are giving up a chance at all.

Bochum has not been able to have a good performance this season but their history with Leverkusen is such that in previous meetings they have not actually got a relatively fair results where they get to win a few games Nas Leverkusen gets to win the others too but then this time really does look different because Leverkusen is in a totally different form and isn't in a position for one to think they will be able to let Bochum win them easily.

Stuttgart have got ahead of Bayern Munich after the recent win. Bayern Munich haven't played their game on this week yet though. But I just admire Stuttgart's rise in the standings this season. Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso deserve to be discussed the most but Stuttgart also deserve the appreciation for their success.  Smiley

The top scorer Guirassy (26 goals) is quite likely to leave the team this summer. I'm saying it because of his release clause especially. It is only 17.5 million euros. It is really like a joke right?  Grin  I think he would be signed by one of bigger European teams. Stuttgart are joining the Champions League but it wouldn't be easy to convince him to stay in case of getting an offer from an attracting team.
Stuttgart has been impressive in the Bundesliga this season, and I am not surprised to see that they have overtaken Bayern Munich for the second place in the Bundesliga table, even though Bayern Munich has a match to play. Stuttgart also deserves to be discussed because their performance in the Bundesliga this season has been amazing, and they deserve the position they are in the Bundesliga table. With the goals Guirassy has scored this season, it is easy for him to get another contract from a big club, and his release clause is small too. Guirassy would possibly sign for a club that has qualified for the UEFA Champions League because Stuttgart will be playing in next season's UEFA Champions League competition.
In this season, we are having three massive surprises with 16th spotted Stuttgart is having place into top three ranks 6th spotted Bayer Leverkusen is ending their season with undefeated title and Union Berlin which was at the fourth spot is ending at the 16th spot even we are having few more surprises, but these three created good which needs to highlighted, but now we are also having good changes at the top like RB Leipzig is consistently giving good performance and having their spot into top spots Bayer Leverkusen is also good, but they need to stay at this level which will help them for having stay here at the top level.

Serhou Guirassy amazing player and his consistency and quality is also impressive with most chances he needs to stay here at the Stuttgart which will help them for having to keep this performance and consistency but still other options are also available.
I will not see Union Berlin finishing in 16th place in the Bundesliga table as a surprise. Union Berlin is an average club in the Bundesliga, so ending up this season in 16th place in the Bundesliga table is not a surprise for me. Even though Union Berlin played in this season's UEFA Champions League, that doesn't mean they can't finish in the relegation-threatened zone because they cannot maintain the same performance in the Bundesliga for a long time.

Interesting match today

Bayern Munich @1.44 vs Wolfsburg @6.20
Bochum @4.30 vs Bayer Leverkusen @1.72

A very good match today, both popular clubs will each play against weak clubs below the top 10 positions and I'm sure everyone will not hesitate to bet on Leverkusen's win but will hesitate to bet on Bayern Munich's win.
Lots of people say that Bayern Munich doesn't look good lately and that's true but even though Munich is experiencing inconsistent performance that doesn't mean it will lose at home and will definitely take back 2nd place in the points table and if someone is hesitant about betting on victory Bayern Munich certainly still has other options such as betting on the total score.
Both clubs will score equally so there will be a big score in this match and someone would definitely prefer to bet on the total score of over 3.5.

Leverkusen without a doubt, even though they have to play away from home, it seems like beating Bochum is very easy and maybe the worst result is just a draw.
I would prefer -1 for a Leverkusen win at odds @2.11
Bochum actually really required 3 points to avoiding relegation zone but seems it will be hard to realized because their current opponent is Leverkusen and we all know Leverkusen this season as the strongest team in Bundesliga and so far Leverkusen has 50 times unbeated and although this match won't have any affect to their position but i think Leverkusen won't hold back so i am sure they still targetting win result from this match and currently it's very hard to beat Leverkusen because previously they were facing strong opponents in this competitions such as Bayern Munich, Dortmund or Stuttgart but Leverkusen can able to beat them

Because Leverkusen still targetting 3 points from this match then i assuming Xabi Alonso will played all of Leverkusen key players such as Granit Xhaka or Jonas Hofmann but Florian Wirtz still doubtful to play however regarding the odds for Leverkusen win i think it's not too low and bets for that team is safe bet for this match because most likely Leverkusen will be able to overcomes Bochum today
