clinging desperately to the last vestige of your investment thesis.  won't last long i assure you...

Actually I wouldn't touch AAPL with a 10 foot pole..  But I don't think its done, it could easily go to 750+ or so short term, but I don't want to try to call the top..  I don't think it will crash when it tops out either, just bounce along like Microsoft did for 10 years after the dotcom crash.

I've never posted a thesis, or claimed to be an expert, or sell my advice.  Wink

I just think your plain wrong that the market is about to crash, that gold/silver are about to crash.

You've been claiming for a month now that they are about to crash, and you can pick corners.

You missed.

perhaps you can't read but i got this corner in stocks more precisely than i ever have.

as for "collapsing" in gold, i guess its a matter of semantics.  one can have a fast collapse or slow collapse as far as i'm concerned.  i never said "crash".  its down from when i started this thread and more importantly, the original gold thread.  thats all i really care about. the gold stocks clearly have collapsed as i would argue for silver.  gold is slowly collapsing but i do think it will accelerate once we get down below 1600 and especially once we get below the Dec lows.  and don't be mislead that i put my own short positions on the same day i put up this thread.

are you high?

Months are nothing when you are looking at the bigger picture here (years and especially decades). Look at any longer term chart of global markets and commodities and you'll know exactly why the safest investment is cash. Way too much speculating right now and chasing performance.

I bet a lot of investment managers are selling various other stock right now in their portfolio and putting even more of their total holdings into Apple thinking that it is safer than bonds. They'll learn their lesson soon enough  Wink

Stocks are down; gold and silver are steady. One day does not make a trend, and the typical CoT reporting games may still occur.

Anyway, the dynamic is unfolding exactly as FOFOA, Mike Maloney, et al. have described. Bitcoin is a great protector, but it's still foolish to discount physical precious metals.

you can't possibly know all the fundamental factors involved that go into the price of gold. this is why technical analysis is so important.
Of course. I can't possibly know all the factors to predict the weather. But I can be pretty much sure that there will be summer after a spring.

I was going to address your winter boots comment to suggest now is the best time to buy them since demand is minimal, but you seem to want to avoid that discussion since you removed that part of your post Smiley.
Indeed, I got the added second sentence (about not buying winter boots nowadays) removed, after I had the first one answered.

you know what?  you're exactly right...it's called Cycles.
Not really. I believe it's called Heliocentrism.
No technical analysis is required to understand the nature of this cycles - just a bit of astronomy Smiley

There's been a couple downcycles in the smaller silver miners over the last year.  I was buying.  I will continue to buy these dips.

The Fed is printing money like mad, and about to print it even faster.

thanks.  thats exactly what i wanted to hear.
