Im holder, and I have not seen any real improvements in the implementation of this coin, the price and volume can be judged on the effectiveness of actions.
It's on your choice to be as effective as you want, SELL YOUR COINS.

Who else noticed that any changes proposed holders reject any pretext, it seems that they are simply unable to do something, do not have enough technical skills. Maybe announce the job of the programmer?
Introduce yourself. Who are you to make those statements? I have no idea what you're talking about and as far as I am concerned you're talking shit.

also as far as merged mining in myriad children is concerned will the original algos only be able to be merged mined via Myriad? it would be preferential for the very long term 10+ years after block rewards are 0 + tx to have the children be merge minable only through myriad and not able to be specifically minable through one of the 5 algos.

(that way if you want to use for example sha256 to get myrchild J you would have to mine the original myriadcoin itself.

additionally the rewards of merge mining myrchild A and B dont have to decrease as you go down the line (shown in the infographic)

you can get the merge mining rewards of 200 for myrchild A and 200 for myrchild B instead of the rewards dissipating having myrchildren going down the line of A1-A2-A3

although this would be fine we need to keep in mind that the original coin (Myriadcoin) should be positioned to have much more incentive to mine and get the merge mining rewards of myrchildren down the lines of

A1 (200) -A2(75) -A3(25)

B1 (200) -B2(75) -B3(25)

C1 (200)

--

Does that make sense to everyone?

Ill also post on reddit for better discussion

I think you could check whether or not the block is being solved with auxPoW or not. If it is mined directly (not through auxPoW) couldn't the block rewards be set to 0 in this circumstance and deterring anyone from mining the coin directly?

1 more idea to add to the others for devs to consider while coding/discussing viable candidates for the next update.

Have difficulty rise max 100% of current difficulty. Having no lookback on difficulty. With block rewards decreased per block proportional to this rise.

Ex:

Ghash.io comes in and throws in 100ghs on our current 1ghs scrypt hashrate.
The difficulty at say 30 would rise to a maximum of 60. Giving a block reward of 0 to, according to the example hashrate flooded in by Ghash, ~99% chance likelyhood to be solved by Ghash. their system would automatically, as it is configured, move on to the next coin.

For a malicious attacker who wishes to fork the coin with no regard to block reward, there would be the 5 block in a row limit put in place.

This course of action or another similar would have the benefit of immediately deterring MPs and other massive players who switch from coin to coin.

Over time MP operators will realize that abusing myriad for a 10x greater reward than normal block time is no longer possible.
------------------

also I did message this to a few of our devs a little while ago ill put it here for reference for anyone who is partaking in the project

looks very similar may be useful

-Block Rewards: 100 - 25 coins per block based on diff; diff increased, reward decreased

https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/11919-specialcoin-spe-information/

What happens then if the Multi-Pool still wants to attack and keeps switching back onto Myriadcoin? Say they did this for a day. The whole day they would render Myriadcoin's Scrypt block rewards to 0 for the entire day!

Are there (safe) linux miner binaries available anywhere? Specifically the skein miner

Usually for linux you're much better off just compiling it yourself.
Do yourself a favour: compile with NO ncurses and no libcurl! Those two are one hell of dependencies!
Note there's a bug in miner code: libcurl is said to be "optional" but it really isn't. I hope it has been fixed.

If you are having Electrum syncing issues, please report so here: http://www.reddit.com/r/myriadcoin/comments/2elq4x/electrum_wallet_problems_post_here_if_electrum/

I just want to get a head count on how problematic this issue is.

Just have no idea what my hash rate is. Just keeps saying Detected New Block
I'm not sure how minerd reports new blocks but I've also observed that happening on sgminer and another little known miner. It seems p2pools just push work restarts like crazy. For CPU mining, that should result in little to no performance loss in terms of hashrate but I suspect it might be a problem for slow miners. I'm confident it was a problem for me.

Just have no idea what my hash rate is. Just keeps saying Detected New Block

Unfortunately minerd doesn't report hashrate or accepted shares for p2pools, so you'll need to check the pool's webpage for it.

For an accurate reading, leave it mining for an hour, then go to http://birdspool.no-ip.org:5567/static/graphs.html?Hour then find your address. Look at the average hashrate and you'll get an idea of what you're pulling. If your miner is slow (cpu), you might need to wait a few hours...
