Any chance that you could add wattage there as well?

Do you know a good source to get average wattage for the chipsets?  Again, my only source right now is: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison.  I'm more of a developer than a bitcoin-er, so I may be using the wrong sources.

That source is accurate in my experience.  Great work on this!

I bet in the future you will be asked for:

1.  Scrypt Mining Hash Rates
2.  Hash to Watt ratios
3.  Watts
4.  Locked/Unlocked
5.  OCd or not

This really is great work though.  thank you!

Thanks for the information, very helpful.  I'm going to try and come up with a low-maintenance/accurate way to get more information in there.

Good Luck!  I think the mining comparison guide is a good place to pull information, and I believe they have the hash/watt number there.

It's nice to see a new member contributing positively!  Will wonders never cease.  Smiley

Cheers mate, and welcome!

Still demand for GPU Huh

At the moment, I'm using my code to show GPUs in the bitcoin realm.  But, people use GPUs for different reasons and hopefully my site can support that.  As time progresses, I should be able to add other product listings once I get my bearings.

An auto-notification feature when the price drops would be awesome.

Great idea, I hope to add this once I work out some of the initial kinks.

You should add the new 7790, a mix between 7770 and 7850.
+1 It's the card with the best price to hashrate ratio and also the best hashrate to watt ratio

Also 7990 would be nice (it's a dual chip 7970)

Edit: The US version works fine, but I had a look at the german version and it shows also complete computers, notebooks and gpu cooling fans. This should be better filtered.

Thanks for checking it out.  I cleared out some of the bad data for the other countries, and when it comes up I can clear it out now easily.

For whatever reason it is not picking up the 7990 listings.  I will look into this further when I have time.

Irony that I find this after going through several hundred pages at amazon, pricewatch and newegg. Between tabbing back and forth from those to the bitcointalk mining hardware comparison.

Thanks for putting the work into this Smiley

Great!  Glad to hear that it is useful, it definitely helps with motivation to update the site.

I added the 7790, but had to guess at the hash rate.  I put in 300, does anyone know what it is?  The better the number the more accurate the calculation as to value.

For better or worse  I'm getting generic hash rates from: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

I had a hard time price comparing graphics cards on Amazon, so I made this website:

http://www.gpugarden.com/

It pulls used and new prices from Amazon and shows them in a grid.  That way you can easily price compare, and see if there is a good deal on a card.

I can add different chipsets/products if people are interested.

Let me know what you think!

Update June 9, 2013
-----------------------

Today's update will give you better insight into price fluctuations on cards.

* Killer feature.  Typical hash rates are listed, and that is used to calculate hash rate against cost.  You can easily see what the best value is for new and used cards now on Amazon.

* The below image shows "Lowest Price Seen!" feature.  If an item reaches a new low, this message is displayed.

* When prices change, they are tracked and a sparkline is shown with the last ten price changes.  You can mouse over the graph to get pricing details.

Update June 7, 2013
-----------------------

* Added icon that indicates Amazon Prime availability
* Tracking price changes, for future update after gathering more data
* Added google+ and twitter buttons

You should add the new 7790, a mix between 7770 and 7850.

can you add typical hashrate?

Done, I even used the typical hash rate to calculate price to hash rate.

Now, very easily you can find the best bang for your buck.

Nice site, it does help some as Amazon search is quite poor.

Thanks for the kind words.  I updated it to indicate Amazon Prime shipping, and am tracking price changes for a future update.  That way if there is a price drop you would be able to easily tell.
