Just FTR MadmanAmazon is also yet another alt of banned scammer YoutubeTV so it is ban evasion if a mod accepts the "proof."   This morning there was another sock-puppet fake vouch posted on Mr Amazon's thread which is the M.O. of YoutubeTV and his other alts for the last 2-3 years.  I recognized it as one who has previously been used on YoutubeTV's account (here it is in an archive PRESCOTT1987 http://archive.fo/4nA26) so I tagged it as being just that.  Suddenly that vouch mysteriously disappeared.

Banning this alt won't gain much because he will just be back with a new one but it's just the principle.  He already created 2 new sock-puppets in his thread so I guess he just got lazy and wanted to recycle.

Also discussed in this thread when it was mentioned he used his previous  YoutubeTV (and many others) telegram alt of @Cryptogift  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scammer-alert-madmanamazon-5134475

I am not getting point why we are fighting each other instead discuss on the topic? Although we can't solve it except tag the scammer but our discussion should on topic so that other users will aware about similar case.

I have a question to OP? Are you believe on trust system ? Of not then accusation thread doesn't make any sense. If you believe on trust system then you should avoid dealing with red trusted users and you were not needed to open this thread. All users aren't tagged for scam, so read their trust feedback's why they got tag.

If you don't know about trust knowledge, then sorry for your lose and hope you learned from this mistake. If you are dealing with money then don't forget to check users trust history. If you feel unsafe then use forum escrow. It might need few fee but it will save you from loss.

you have no idea what that money could mean for someone,  or how terrible they could be feeling now, being a smart ass and stating the obvious does not help anyone, such comments will keep people from reporting scammers.

you know what is the last thing a victim of scam wants ? >  reading something like your post or akamit's.

if you can't show sympathy or say something useful then sometimes the best thing to say is NOTHING.

this is all you going to get from me <<<< G.T.F.O
I have a novel idea. Why don't you G.T.F.O?
You just saw my aggressiveness and came to advocate for mikeywith
But you didn't saw the aggressiveness of the person who first aggressively responded to my question when I asked him to explain why my post doesn't make any sense...

Thanks for the insult, it was really unexpected from you.

I'm ready to apologize if 4-5 more senior DT members say that I'm wrong from my point of view.

Has it ever occurred to you that not everyone reads English with ease? As can be seen from the opening statement, the page listing the transaction is in Vietmanese. This is an international community.
By reading OP's post history I can say that he can understand well the line "Trust: -8: -3 / +0 Warning: Trade with extreme caution!".
Moreover, he is not new to the trades in bitcointalk. OP's account is only created to trade in digital goods section.

I think you should show the victim here a little more latitude than labeling him as stupid.
IIRC then I can say that was my first post where I labeled someone as stupid for doing a stupid thing in scam accusation board, and the reasons can be found above.

I have decided to exclude you from my trust list becuase of your attitude.
As you wished and I can't do much on this. But it hurts to know that I got distrusted by someone for expressing my point of view.

I just don't think you have what it takes to be an advocate for victims.
Someone tried to play with fire without any safety measures and got an accident, later he complains to the peoples in his surroundings that the fire burned his hand.
So what do you think those peoples will say? Of course, they will say to the guy "stupid" because he hasn't taken anything for his safety. I hope you got my point.

How about I red tag you for being a condescending asshat? How would that grab you? I won't. But your attitude sure makes it tempting.
Nope, you can't, because I haven't done anything wrong. Just expressed my point of view.
Don't judge someone's attitude with just a single post. If everyone starts doing it then all the forum members will be red painted.

OP never tried to learn about his safety > Real14Hero is scammer. Should I still say he is not stupid?

I think it is getting off-topic and we should leave our discussion from this thread.
If you guys think I've harmed by any means then create a thread in reputation board against me and I'll respond there.

If you don't bother to check someones trust area before making any payment or deal with him/her then this kind of incidents is not unexpected OP. Will you please feel free to let us know, What is the main purpose of having trust system? Its built to keep our forum community user far from this kind of scammers  I think you have got scammed due to lack of awareness.

The red paints itself an alarm to warn peoples not to trade. Smart peoples will ignore the sellers with red paints and dumbasses will make a deal and later will complain here.

yup it does make sense, your comment does not make any sense to be honest, maybe it adds to your post count and that's all about it.

OP , sorry for your loss, i am not going to say why haven't you checked their feedback and all that, because it won't change anything, so now you are probably still looking for some gift cards right?

i suppose you have learned from your mistake now, and if you still want to go anywhere near the Digital Goods then here are some of the rules i use to stay safe.

1- it is safe to assume that every single locked/self moderated topic is a scam

2- almost every newbie feedback is fake

3- 99% of gift cards sellers are scammers anyway.

keep that in mind.
Thanks advise.

i have yet to find a single point of mocking someone who has been scammed, and posting in "scam accusation" which is all about people being scammed.
your post has zero use for mankind, live with it.
I can give you many points.

1. OP hasn't used escrow
2. OP is not new to this forum
3. OP is an active buyer of Digital Goods, and it is worth to say he knows how things work in digital goods section. I mean, how to identify scammers.
4. Maybe OP's account is an alt of one of the experienced forum member, this is just an assumption. Saying because OP's account is only used to buy from digital goods section. Mainly Giftcards.
5. When OP visited seller thread, the trust of that seller was clearly visible. Because of the negative rating we provided to that seller on 21st April. And OP dealt with the seller on 26th April. Check this Image.
6. OP intentionally ignored the warning to not trade with that seller, and yet he dealt. Just 5 days ago we tagged the seller for a similar case. Is it a smart move or a dumb move? Op registered in this forum before you.

You may like this type of dumb peoples, and it is not necessary that everyone should like these dumb peoples. If you didn't like someone's opinion then just don't quote his/her post. Simple solution.

If you still can't find a sense of my previous posts then either you are a dumb person or knowingly disagreeing with me because of your ego.

I didn't say you posted to increase your post count, i said the only thing that could benifit from your post was your post count, if you don't get it, it's not my concern.
What's the difference here? If you can't find the difference then it's not my concern.

i earn more merit in a day than you do in a year,
That's good! You are earning more merits than me. Did I ever say I'm jealous?
But to let you know I was inactive for about 8-9 months after the merit system was introduced, my account was hacked.

i don't seem to understand the compression between my posts and yours.
It seems you are an arrogant little boy. Don't judge me, judge yourself.
I still find your post meaningless in this thread if I compare with mine. Read my above points then you will start to think that your post was meaningless if you have the right sense.

this is all you going to get from me, i suggest you take your b.s some where else and keep this topic for what it was intended to be.

You can't do anything about it, but it should serve as a lesson to you.
It's recommended that you use an escrow when dealing with other members here in the forum and communicate here too not in other communications channel like telegram.

Just to let you know, I have never reached the weekly post limit, except 10-20 weeks maybe in my 165 weeks of time in Bitcointalk.

This thread reminds me of about 50 other threads here when recently banned cockroach YouTubeTV was slinking around for close to 2 years and had like 3 pages of solid red trust and people with accounts here were still buying from him.  Another used has connected this scumbag to banned YoutubeTV with some pretty good proof as well and he is likely correct.

I have to ask, did you look at this members trust rating or history before agreeing to do business with them? There are plenty of warnings available to you that this member is a scammer.
