When there is a rise mainstream currencies, there used to be marked differences in the fluctuations reported between btc and other altcoins. These fluctuations tend to be temporary as stability is envisaged in the market.  Talking of stability in the market the btc is more stable.   The btc will occupy this position for a long time.

Bitcoin usually has less volatility. If btc rises, it arises less than the other alts. If it falls, if fall less than alts.

That's why it only rose 2% and the other alts are rising 10% or more
