Shortsellers profit from price crashing a lot because of the leverage.
If BTC price suddenly goes up, they can lose everything unless they have set up a stopless to minimalize their loses.
From stasitic information, shortsellers are mostly people who don't have enough money to invest in the real value of stocks or in this case BTC itself.
You don't need much money to gain a huge potential profit because of the leverage.

The Chinese don't use bitcointalk.org as a bitcoin forum, they have their own version like they have Weibo for Twitter, WeChat for WhatsApp, Baidu for Google and so on.

I DON´T THINK THAT BITSTAMP HAS ENOUGH MONEY TO SETTLE THIS DOWN IF THOUSANDS OF CUSTOMERS WILL SUE THEM!

BTW HUOBIS TRADING DATA LAGS ABOUT 25 MINUTES! THEY COULD ALREADY BE DOWN @ 200$ AND WE WOULDN´T KNOW IT!
