I don't even need the method to know what it is. You promote your Amazon, or similar, affiliate links on sites like Yahoo! Answers, ASK, blogs, etc. It's a public method and saturated, everyone out there is doing it. Google around and you will find hundreds of variations.

Well we discussed about the 'e-book' (instructions) on skype and here is my review:
Op has an affiliate link about a product and you have to spread that link.
The percentage you receive is from 50%-75% commission per sale determined by the seller.
Basically it is not limited to $10 but as much as you get sales, that's all. Hope it will help others. Good luck.

It's a change to his previous method (the one I called a troll one). This utilizes affiliate sales and I guess it's a bit better than the last method but it still has to do with the seller's/buyer's mentality and how much work you put into it. Personally I like it better than the previous method, but it is still not completely to my liking. Still 1/2 vouch because it makes money if you put in time.
