You are quite right Charles-Tim but don't forget that without this pigin of a language 9ja board won't be of much use.so since pigin is one of the sole reasons 9ja board is 9ja board isn't it worth typing properly for when posting ? Also remember that not everyone here is  a good grammatical speaker thus making pigin easier for them.

Let us be sincere with ourselves. Is there any use of the threads translated in Pidgin than to earn merit? I found those translated posts not useful because we all Nigerians on this forum understand English. We can read and post in English because we were taught in English in school right from basic schools to tertiary schools. There is nothing like Pidgin in school.

Informally, we Nigerians use English, Pidgin and local languages to communicate, and because of that we accept English and Pidgin on this local board. We did not accept local languages when we voted.
