My greatest regret in 2021 is failing to take profits I made alot but failed to remove my gains later I lost it all, my advice to everyone is be on watch out for beat market this bull market have been around for too long now, all I'm expecting is a bull trap and a huge reversal so take profits in this crucial season

Well so far this year I want to start actively trading, last year I really procrastinated this desire, I think it's time to diversify rather than earning an saving in crypto, but I out a declaimer to this, so if you follow suit be sure to have done your research, last year was a very good year for crypto but to be honest not really profiting for me, so I think I would put more action To my plans to see how I can also make something out of Crypto this year.

We can DCA with Bitcoin on the market but we can averagely and gradually learn and increase our knowledge. But the way we learn, the time we have to spend for it, in order to get enough knowledge and accumulate more knowledge with time, make it as same as DCA in investment.

I have to second that. I got a chance to do something I have been waiting for, for years, and if that means less making money with crypto then I am fine with that. But sometimes people get paralysis by analysis in the sense that they think too many things are of the same priority. So what I would advise is to prioritize your plans and then continue acordingly. Because if you try to do too many things at once, it won't turn out the way it is supposed to. The same can be applied to crypto investing as a whole.

The problem of some is how to start due to low funds. They forget to know that starting cryptocurrency investment with small amounts is not bad, they think starting with big amount is one of the way to start well.

TBH almost all crypto apart from Bitcoin ^{and Ethereum ??} is a risk.
one of the moves I did a few years ago was to convert all the $hitcoins I had back into
Bitcoin and I havent looked back other than to see those $hitcoins now are nowhere.

A good place to start this new year is indeed at a crypto portfolio and streamline it to be
only or predominantly Bitcoin.

There is the FEAR that the price will go lower, its short term thinking.

My plans for this year are to spend less on rubbish like convenience foods and drinks,
and generally consume less in order to spend those savings on Bitcoin and continue
to look to the future rather than the here and now.

Apparently not all have their conviction ready to top their obvious mistakes. If the topic is all about crypto such as trading, investing, gaming and all other means to earn here. There would be always outside the norm or open door for mistakes. But that's pretty normal and tolerable, as werent perfect. I can see more opportunity on some errors by learning within those experience.

In terms of what's needed to be changed, what's needed to be improved, starting a new approach, and so on, one doesn't have to wait for a new year, a birthday, and otherwise. In other words, one doesn't have to look at the calendar.

Time in that respect is unnecessary. That particular sense of time is merely a human construct. It is all in the mind. It doesn't have anything to do with a person's success or failure. What matters is his/her resolve, determination, focus, and so on.

If you want to get into Bitcoin, do your research right away, study, and decide. Anytime! Don't wait for a year to do that.

Get a life outside of cryptocurrency! Yes, I understand that we're all hustlin' in here to better ourselves, especially in terms of the financial aspect of our lives, but we should also remember to include a routine to make up a healthy body in our plans.

I mean, because most people here are speculating on their crypto investments and such, it's very easy for them to put eating, drinking, and rest at the bottom of their daily routine list, which can lead to poor decisions due to mental and physical fatigue. The daily stress that comes with crypto is literally one of the worst things you can do to your body.

I'm not saying money isn't important; it's just that you should be able to make money in a way that makes you happy without negatively impacting your health.

Theoretically, we make bad decisions if we are emotional involved. If we are overinvested and we panic in a crash, we tend to sell in the lows instead of buy, for example.

If we just make a plan and execute that plan straight, it usually performs better than having no plan.

In my personal finance I have very clear goals and strategies. I have very few assets (Bonds, ETF and Bitcoin, mostly) and I try not to buy other things. I rebalance my portfolio from time to time, and I buy just the same assets. Pretty much automated, and trying not get emotional affected buy highs and lows.

Yes, the spirit is certain, even though we don't know what will happen in the future, as you said hope is always there, the important thing is the effort.

We are all aware, the previous year maybe we failed in doing something for ourselves especially the crypto part, I didn't expect much this year, only the decisive circumstances and developments of the crypto market in 2022, can change my destiny.
