Yeah right, controlling yourself from any possibility of getting engage too uch into gambling will help you to avoid losing a lot of money with this vice or activities that you involve yourself, you must know when to stop and who must be precise with your decision after taking your bets.
Controlling yourself is the key to playing gambling moderately to prevents many problems. We must avoids losing much money in gambling by always limiting ourselves and will knows when to stop and realizes that playing gambling needs to limitations.

We will not follows our desire to playing gambling longer because we already knows that can makes us losing more money. We can learn from the other people's mistakes so we can avoids that happens to us. We can make decision base on the situation that happens to us so we will not gets any trouble from gambling because we can leave the casino before our money is runs out.

If you are not a fan of having a high risk gambling it's better to have good self control,  it will helps you to prevent  any big mistakes that can cause you your entire bankroll,  though chances to exceed from your limits is not impossible which most of the time rake place when you over think about the potential and  the possibilities that you may win your next try.  More on how you'll able to control and limit such emotions  and a better handling of your finances. Money management and time management are very important when you are dealing with this type of business.

I see no reason why the person who is emotional and gambling senselessly should still be at the casino or not close the gambling platform. Though some might even try to fight it by being conscious with the help of discipline and determination, but if this seems not to be working, just walk away, nothing is safer than that in gambling. You may now return the next day or even give it time in days or weeks to get back to your normal self. No gambler doing this will be wasting money unnecessarily.

People who are addicted to gambling usually cannot think realistically when making decisions. That's why they can't stop gambling like normal people. They are very obsessed with beating casinos and gambling sites. They are very eager to get a big win. It is very difficult to explain logically to gambling addicts. We can only hope they realize their mistake. A wise gambler will never let his emotions control him in making decisions.

Emotions exist in everyone.  There is no human without emotions. a robot is without emotion. But this emotion does not always harm us.  Emotions can help us a lot but in some cases it can lead us to harm depending on how well we can control our emotions. People always want to enjoy difficult things with interest and meanwhile gambling is difficult thing as well as it is able to give fun at the same time there is a chance to win a lot of money so everyone has a lot of interest in gambling this interest makes everyone emotional very fast.  So keeping yourself under control will be a very important task for everyone
Emotions will always interacts with us in any situations and emotions can becomes bigger when we playing gambling because we will see many things related to the gambling, especially the outcomes. When we lose, that can makes us becomes emotional and many people lose control and can't manage their emotion because they see their lose. When we can't manage emotions, we will lose our money and that can becomes bigger if we don't stop from playing gambling. If people can treat gambling well and can control their money to be used in gambling, they will have a chance to enjoy the gambling games. Yes, we must keep ourselves under control so we don't becomes emotional because of the outcomes that we gets.
When ot comes to gambling we should always avoid the allowance of emotions to take any part or full control of us and our line of thoughts,  this is so important because both the good and ugly experiences comes from the results of uncontrollable emotions,  some times you may feel good when you wen the bet that emotions pushed to place, and other time you feel very wired and bad because you eventually lost all your entire holdings due to excessive staking all motivated by your emotions as a gambler.
I do say that if gamblers no longer feel themselves as the ones betting anymore, it is often bad for them because they will not be in control again but whatever is controlling them. In most cases, this could be encapsulated in emotion and if allowed further, it is always be devastating. All gamblers should know that the antidotes of emotion are simple, and they are disciplined, have strong determination and taking break immediately when the gambler feels that emotion has taken over. If all three are not enforced immediately, it will be an issue. Aside from gambling, emotion has infested me in many risky dealings that have to deal with money, the same antidotes are working for them all unless we are either underrating them or not willing to enforce them.

I see no reason why the person who is emotional and gambling senselessly should still be at the casino or not close the gambling platform. Though some might even try to fight it by being conscious with the help of discipline and determination, but if this seems not to be working, just walk away, nothing is safer than that in gambling. I've also read a response in this forum from a guy who testified that his lover saved him from gambling addiction. It shows how love could be the highest of them all. When an addict is close to someone he loves, his interest in gambling gets shifted automatically to that person. Hence, helping him to focus on rethinking himself. He also listens to the advice of this person, another strong benefit that could change him close to instantly. Though it's hard for them opening up to a close friend helps the healing process of a gambler. The person who received such information should endeavor to help by acting as a therapist. But the confusing aspect of this remains that not everyone knows what next to do upon hearing this.

In a situation like this, if they've got the funds, forwarding the addict to a therapist is the best choice. Therapy could be done with anybody, but a person who isn't experienced in making the right moves or strategies won't see an effective result. The trial-and-error method isn't encouraged. Mental disorder is not a joke. It's painful to the person and everyone around him. Within himself, he'd be asking multiple questions on why he's acting strangely. Questioning the gambler is effective in helping him think and remember things he's forgotten about himself due to gambling addiction. He, the addict, can also travel to meet people who will help restrict his actions. Sometimes a strict procedure should be applied.
Love is powerful. But don't expect a miracle cure for addiction. When the relationship gets rough, replacing one preoccupation with another is perilous. Love's awesome, but it ain't easy. It takes work, discusion, and occasionaly firm boundaries

Therapy with a friend? Hmm. An ally is important, but most individuals aren't qualified to handle significant mental health issues. It's like asking your friend to fix your car when they can barely change a tire. Might work, but probably hurt more. Professional therapy? Hell yeah, if you can afford it. The fit must be right. Addiction experts, not textbook readers, are needed. Finding them is hard

Gambling for fun is cool. However, losing control and doing things that aren't "you" is your wake-up call. Questioning is the first step, but action matters most. That could involve specialized rehab or strong self-discipline. Take control and don't let addiction rule

Yeah, experts encourage addicts to chin up and face the problem, by creating a bond with the addict. Interpersonal relationship is the engine of every form of therapy, expert or not. Sometimes during therapy, experts are incapable of developing this friendship with addicts. The therapist may have used uncomfortable responses in his conversation with the addict. It's hard to detect an effective response that'll tickle pink the addict on hearing it. The transient pleasure, if achieved, can improve the addict's interest in the therapist. Thereby opening a reason within him, why he shouldn't skip therapy sessions. No therapist is perfect or expert enough to bring people to therapy, with no interpersonal relationship available. Addicts often miss their session, because they don't enjoy answering multiple boring questions asked by the therapist.

However, addiction experts, as you mention, are great due to experience dealing with other addicts. But people rarely get fond of one another meeting for the first time. The first day in therapy isn't assured for the therapist, he foresees two things, the client may return or not after leaving his office. This self-thought is used to know if they've done a great job or failed during the first session with a fresh client. So, getting an addict to continually visit his therapist, isn't the task of the therapist, but that of the addict's relation or family. Let's assume the family can afford to pay the expert, the addict needs someone to convince him to go for therapy, daily. Until he builds a strong bond with the therapist. Visiting therapy, for the addict, will then be like seeing a friend. That's a serious improvement in his healing process. Hence, if the expert isn't capable of getting hold of the addict's attention on the first day, the addict's family or loved one should assist in talking to the addict regarding why he should frequently go for therapy.

~ I think, in purely luck-based games, which constitute the most part of what we call "gambling", our decisions can't increase or decrease our chances of winning. It's a big question whether our decisions, "good" or "bad", can affect the outcome in a positive or negative way in, say, sports betting, because betting on the underdog by mistake you can win with a huge multiplier, but there's no doubt that in purely luck-based games your decisions mean nothing.

Right decisions will favor us all the time, either we minimize our losses or enjoy our winning. That will not make us greedy. But you are right, when it comes to a luck based games, your decision doesn't increase your chances of winning if we look at the long term result of what we are doing. ~

No. Your decision will not increase or decrease your chances of winning even if you are making just one roll. We mention "long term" when we are talking about the house edge that can start playing a role in the long term. Regarding our decisions, good or bad, in luck-based games they don't matter at all.
Indeed!

No matter what are the things you would really be doing or whatever you do have in mind, it wouldnt really be affecting your luck chance when dealing up with luck based games.
This is one of the main reasons on why people do really end up on messing up their lives just because they are really that pursuing on something that they could be able to achieve
on which we know that in gambling then it would really be that too impossible unless if you are that extremely lucky.

There are ones who are really that responsible in towards the things that they are dealing with and there are ones who doesnt care, they would really be
making out adjustments on the time that they would really be experiencing hardships in life on which this is the only time that we would really be that mindful
on what are the actions we should be taking.

When it comes to gambling, rules must be established and followed. Setting limits on how much you're ready to spend and lose is an important aspect of responsible gambling. This can help you avoid chasing losses, which can result in additional losses and more money spent than you expected. It's also a good idea to set a time limit for yourself when gambling, as this will keep you from getting caught up in the game and losing track of time.
It's not just good but it is essential to have a time limit for your gambling activities as well so that you don't spend a lot of time on your gambling each day as any time spend on it is a time wasted in my opinion. So if you are gambling for fun, a couple of hours, or at most 3 hours, should be enough for your gambling activities.

Any amount of hours above 3 is a lot for gambling, and someone who calls themselves a responsible gambler wouldn't spend more than 3 hours on their gambling activities whether they gamble daily or once in two days or weekly. If you think you are responsible but your gambling time is a lot, try to reduce that time and if possible, reduce the budget as well if you think it's a lot.

3 hours is a long time already as it can consume your entire mindset, I guess reducing it may help to limit your gambling activities, whatever the outcome as long as you can stop and you can call for the day, that's still better control with both emotions and time, it's really neccessarry to make sure that you have that capability to end your session whatever the results, it will prevent you from getting addicted and a possibility to lose a lot of money.

That's why controlling ourselves in gambling is a must because that can avoids us to loses emotion controls that can caused us to lose money. We must learns to have full controls of us so we don't have to gets a bad experiences in gambling. Playing gambling with full controls can makes us enjoy the gambling games without having lose much money. We knows that playing gambling is just an entertainment and not have to used much money because we don't wants to loses too much money. With having full control of us, we will knows how long we playing gambling and how much money that we can used. That's why we must learns to be a responsible gambler.

Even if setting limits is a good idea, at the same time life itself sets limits for us, if you have a job, a family and a few other hobbies, it is almost impossible to dedicate so much time to gambling even if you wanted.

In my case, even if I wanted to dedicate more time to gamble I think that I could only give it an additional hour each week, so as long as a person is living a balanced life, the risk their gambling will get out of control is not very high.

Generally, a gambling addict can get away from their addiction if they have someone with them all the time who keeps them away from gambling and keeps them busy with other activities and engagements, this is why it is important for one to first try and get rid of it without professional support.

I agree with you. That's why a gambler must at least be open with someone he believes is a gambler. And gamblers must also realize that they are addicted and tell people they trust. This would be in line with what you said. Spending time with other activities such as vacations or setting a schedule for playing pool will help you get out of your gambling addiction. I have a friend who is addicted to gambling. And he changed when he got married. He shared his problems with his girlfriend and her lover wanted to help him get out of his gambling addiction.

Yes as usual and as we know that emotions are usually a disease for most gamblers and I say that they are irresponsible gamblers who come with the intention and purpose to earn and when you come with such intentions and goals then obviously you will be more often haunted by uncontrollable emotions and as you said that most decisions will be based on emotions which in turn some out of control actions are a sure thing because of the absence of a rational mindset for consideration.

Basically it is true that emotions can destroy you in any case and not just in gambling matters, and if we talk about gambling then yes obviously emotions can make a person end up with a greater amount of loss.
Sometimes, I wish I could fine somewhere to studying hoe to put our emotions into 100% check and that is how to totally eliminate emotions from our decisions making process during the bet, most of us are either directly or indirectly victims of the presence and forces of emotional control, sometimes it becomes too much overbearing to seek and stick to out of emotions perception and directions.

Bit then we ought to stick out our necks to accept the reality and how to overcome the tendency of emotional involvement in our gambling most especially when we already have the session on like in the Middle of a game.

I agree that for most players betting during a match is a bad idea, but if your strategy involves betting live, then why not use it. I once used a strategy when I was waiting for a late goal in a match, it brought results, but the strategy required a lot of my time and I had to abandon it.
But even this strategy required precisely defined actions, that is, you waited for a certain time in the match and if until that time none of the teams scored, you could place a bet, that is, if you do not need to choose what to bet on, and you have everything ready and if you just wait for all the conditions to be met, then this is acceptable.

Some people find it difficult to hold themselves or make a good decision while betting because gambling has impact negatively in people's lives which makes them sense stress and happiness or enjoyment in gambling, in such case they don't stop gambling even when they know they are losing, to stop it or take a good decision on amount to spend when you gamble might be very difficult except the interval of a friend or God and another option is to join a support group, because it can provide a sense of accountability and they can help people to stay motivated and committed to recovery. So by all these someone can have a sense of humor in terms of making decisions while betting or gambling to avoid a lot of loss.

When you become addicted to betting, you lose control of your ability to make good decisions because when you lose, you will say you must recover your money before you can stop betting, because when you lose on a bet, your mind will tell you to play another one in the next week's match and you will be lucky enough to cash out. Some people who don't have good decisions when betting are the people who bet too much and expect enormous funds they are too greedy, they will stake with a small fund and be hoping for a huge return, and it will be very tough to win when staking small money and betting numerous games in one ticket.

That is why some people play 2 to 3 odd and stake a lot of money and win a lot of money because that is the secret of betting; if you stake a lot of money and bet 2 to 3 odd, 95% of the time you will win. If you know how to bet and gain knowledge on it, you will cash out, but you should not become addicted to it because he will definitely affect you when you don't have any money to bet with.

from the majority of you say everything is right, it's just that for professional gamblers or gamblers who have often gambled and have full responsibility for their gambling, of course can always control themselves in various situations in gambling.

Which is common to those who got the right understanding with both risk and potential benefits, they can manage to control and prevent any emotional problems that may triggered making wrong decisions.

as I always do when I want to do gambling, I usually judge myself whether I am emotional, anxious or exhausted after a full day of work and when I don't have these problems I will do gambling to try luck and enjoy every game session that I play.

however, when in the middle of the gambling gambling experienced anxiety or a little angry I usually always quickly remove gambling sites from my computer screen after that go away for a moment discussion with family or joking with family to release the emotions or anxiety.

That's a good strategy, pause for a while and release tha negative emotions will refresh your intentions and will allow you to reset everything.
