A well configured rig with properly selected hardware will not have any problem running with 6 GPUs. I never tested 7 GPUs system, but it should work fine I guess.

Is
ASUS PRIME Z270-P good motherboard?

Why would you want to get this one ? I recommend you ASRock H81 Pro BTC. Will be way better and is way cheaper.

Not cheaper, been out of production for 1-2 YEARS now and almost impossible to find - and when you do find one they get a premium pricing pretty much ALL the time.

to me if I was still buying rx 470's or 480's  I would want the best price on 8gb models  I would no longer buy any 4gb models

what GPU will you personally be buying soon? 1060? or what?

I think 1080Ti is better as they are denser.

philipma1957 can you please tell the difference in hashrate on Sapphire 470 8gb-4gb, 480 8gb-4gb and MSI 470 8gb-4gb, 480 8gb-4gb on ethereum. And do you have statistics what amount of power consumption per kwatt will any of it GPU will get?

Also maybe its more reasonable to nuy Nvidia cards do you know anything about that?

In which 470 8gb version can i get 27 mh?

I have GPU whith A1714 barcode

Maybe its more reasonable to buy Nvidia cards if im focusing on mining coins after Ethereum POW?

Well , i think with this rig you can get 370usd monthly : 6x rx 480 , 4gb ram , flower power 1200w , intel haswell g180 2,7ghz , 6 pci raisers you can get like 180 185 mhs . But you have to pay like 60 90 usd monthly for power electrocity ( now depends by your rate )
Also in future will appear minexcoin , and you can mine it . In my opinion will be profitable

One important thing im interested in is what memory manufacturer will i get on sapphire 470 8gb or MSI 470 8gb. Because i heard that sapphire on 8gb version GPU using always Samsung. I dont know about MSI on that note.

The 4xx series is out of production, time to look into the 5xx

In place where i live 570 cost 30% higher than 470

It'd be total wastage of money to purchase RX 570 at a cost of 30% more.

RX 470 is still the best choice in mining right now.

Thats why im focusing on 470 8gb. Its gold standard for me.

Its have almost the same hashrate as 480 4gb + lower power usage

Also what is the best miningOS so far?
What is the choice here?

Windows 10 is best for mining in my opinion.

Guys!
I bought Sapphire 11256-17-20G.

It's says that it is 7000 Mhz memory clock

How much lower will it make me hashrate for Ethereum mining or Zcash than 8000Mhz version?

11256-02 or 11256-07 http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?pid=D3B743BC-5311-40E7-9537-43CB10AA150A&lang=rus

I don't think  it will make much difference.

What is the best 470, 480 GPU manufacturer to buy?
MSI, Sapphire, XFX?

Msi gamer red led = good I owned 50 of them rx 470 8gb, rx 470 4gb, rx 480 8gb, rx 480 4gb all four models  purchased them since last august .  0 failed in my usage I sold off 48 of them the last 2 months  1 failed in someone else's hands.

so 49 of 50 still work  they look good with all the leds and they are quiet. I was able to do an rma for the dead one.

sapphire = some good some bad. 2 failed  I had 6 or 8 of them  the failures happened after I sold them. I was not able to do an rma it was denied

xfx = some good some bad  I had about 10 sold them all none have died.

asus strix 480 8gb = good  I still have 4 of these.  I had as many as 7 of them.  1 died it shorted It may have been my error
i got an rma for it.

to me if I was still buying rx 470's or 480's  I would want the best price on 8gb models  I would no longer buy any 4gb models

unless the price was stupid cheap like ½ of an 8gb model.

If in my place where i live the difference between 470 8gb and 480 8gb is 35$ what should i buy?

Also can you please name the differnce in hashrate on Sapphire 470 8gb, 480 8gb or MSI 470 8gb, 480 8gb if you have all of them to compare. And do you have statistics what amount of power consumption per kwatt will any of it GPU will get?

Did you ckecked what are the memory manufacturers on your MSI 470 8gb and Sapphire 8gb and how many of them are Samsung and not?
