bubble*

Bitcoin can be a bubble. And that bubble has popped a lot of times; and will continue to pop a lot more in the future.

Bubble suggests more negatively that it was never valid to begin with which is unfair I think and especially when its been around so many years now.  The price is certainly volatile and during this time, Dollar itself has varied quite alot in value.

If you want contrast pricing on Bitcoin then also look at Dollar index value.   The ticker would be DXY and you should get result on google or many different finance websites.

Bitcoin is not a bubble overall but it is part of the dollar story and how dollar backs global trade while also being centred around just one countries economy which is not really a good basis for trade it seems.   I do not think bitcoin takes over from Dollar but that does not make it an invalid asset, it has a utility to it which since December 2017 has improved.
This utility increase is important to set it apart from just price decline as the longest decline from 2013 onward was due to failure in a central exchange and loss of confidence from that 'deleveraging'  Bitcoin had during 2013 become fractionally based thanks to Mt.Gox failed accounting and and overly centrally traded price.

Right now Bitcoin did involve itself with credit card purchases which again is a form of leveraging and leads to failure and bad pricing.   This effect has lessened and I think little fraud was involved this time, I do not see the situation as serious as the mt gox failure.  A fallback can be a positive and does not mean we see a lower population in Bitcoin usage, so long as development continues we have good reason for optimism.

Bitcoin can be a bubble. And that bubble has popped a lot of times; and will continue to pop a lot more in the future.

So as of the moment, this is the 2nd longest correction in the history of bitcoin,  when do you think this price will last? Would you think it will gonna last for another year like the previous correction that took more than a year to recover.

It is not so easy to predict when it will start going up because it all depends on market conditions. If we see more and more negative news about cryptos from governments then this downturn may be lost for long and it can even go future down. Most of the governments want now to regulate this market and new investors are now waiting to see governments can regulate it or not. I think if you believe in bitcoin then just hold for long the bubble will grow very big and no one can imagine it.

I don't think bitcoin is a bubble. It is a great technology that can help us to improve a lot of things in the modern society. However, as a bitcoin investor my biggest fear is that bitcoin could gradually be displaced by other cryptocurrencies making its price decrease until practically $0, because the crypto market has shown to be so unpredictable and subject to speculation that from one moment to another something could go wrong and ruin a lot of investors.

I am aware that even at $1.00 bitcoin would continue to be an efficient means of payment, but such a low price would discourage miners and investors from continuing to support the cryptocurrency.
If you saw Bitcoin heading towards $0 I am sure you would switch ships for the rising currency (er I hope). I don't think we will ever see that scenario though, the lowest pundits think Bitcoin could fall is around $1200-1300 mark. I believe that is around the cost to produce a Bitcoin although I could have that aspect incorrect.

You know Bitcoin is a whole bath full of bubbles, right? We just love these little bubbles, because we make most of our biggest profits from these bubbles. A real Bitcoiner cannot wait for these little bubbles to pop. Then we swoop in, buy up the cheap coins and wait for the next bubble to form.

You also know that there is a whole bath full of water under these bubbles, right? Nobody has pulled the plug to empty the bath, so it will just continue to create these little bubbles. ^bubbly^

Many bitcoin holders have a fear because much fake news rises at this time. they say it' bobble. but my opinion is this is the best time to buy bitcoin. bitcoin is rise soon what do you think?

Bitcoin is not a bubble. A bubble something  for which it gets too much hyped and its prices artificially increases and all of sudden it drops making all the holders empty handed. We all know that bitcoin is the best digital currency and it is the need of the future. Even though we face severe up and downs in bitcoin prices due to technical and fundamental corrections but overall bitcoin is not going anywhere and it will further rise in the future.

THE GAME OF CHANCE. CHANGED.
Cryptocurrencies are a bubble, a massive one comparatively. Doesn't mean that one couldn't profit off of them, just make sure that you don't put in more than you can afford to lose, as this game is completely manipulated by big players so it's effectively just gambling anyways.

I really agree with your opinion that this is the right time to buy lots of bitcoin, and we are ready to sell it at a higher price later, and we will enjoy the profit later, be patient and always think positively about bitcoin. for his friend's advice
but I think it's a bit late to buy now, I feel so sorry for not buying bitcoin for less than $ 7k, but many people say that it's never too late to invest in bitcoin, maybe I think I should believe that word.

This is an opportunity for big investors to buy Bitcoin. I have always believed in Bitcoin, its potential and its development. Today's volatility is a sign of growth for the future.
Do not worry.
it is a good opportunity for small investors to buy bitcoin, big investor can buy at 20k+ usd.

only newbies have the fear of the "bubble", others know that bubbles are not as advertised. they are far smaller in size and the bottom of the correction after the bubble is a lot higher than the FUDsters advertise it to be. the rest of the drop is panic caused by the FUD and thanks to the newbies who don't understand anything of this market and start dumping at the bottom after the bubble was corrected and over.

I think bitcoin still has hope to keep recovering, because times are changing, and progressing, while bitcoin is one of the financial solutions in the future

lol bitcoin is not a bubble, it has explanations why the price was rising so fast.
bitcoin is a supply limited coin, it is normal that the bitcoin price is huge even rising more.

I don't think that Bitcoin is a bubble at all and the reason why investors are afraid to hold is probably because of negative news such as an attempt to regulate it in the future.

I am guessing that we won't see a steady recovery in Bitcoin until after the Chinese New Year. So that will be this coming Friday 16th February they have their customs about investing around this time so I think after next week we will have better indications. Bitcoin has always been somewhat volatile so for me this period doesn't look much different.

It could take weeks, it could take months, and it also could take a few years. No one knows for sure basically.
