For many people this is hard to imagine, they need to be scammed to think about this in this way.
But sooner or later markets will be cleared fromm all of these scams and we will have only promising coins  Smiley.

Hi, many people are still complaining how many ICOs ended up as a scam.
The cryptocurrency idea is to create a free worldwide decentralized ecosystem. Free for all, for honest but also for dishonest people. It is free market and you should protect yourself before losing your money. You don´t like it? Then you do not understand crypto.

For every system, there are always cheaters. This is why you should be careful on what you are doing and you should be always sure on what you're doing. One of being ensured in crypto is to spot scams.
and checking the project background can help you determine if that project will be scam in the future most the promise too mcuh which they cant do .
alot of ico is scam they gather only investors and take all the money that was being invested

This is a free market.  Perhaps they put the psychology of investors to do eye-catching projects then scam.  No law can punish them.  So I chose BTC as my main investment but I don't believe in any ICOs or IEOs.

I believe in a blend between crypto and regulations. For some people who are newbies and don't have knowledge in the field it is always going to be a big trap investing into ICOs. Regulations advantage is that they are protecting people from investing into unlegitimate projects/businesses. But crypto has been built with freedom in mind indeed. That principle needs to be holded if we really want to make a better decentralized world.

I haven't participated in many ICOs in my life, but I've learned to spot the scammy ones. There are certain traits like lack of team presence on the internet/media, lack of usecases and a realistic, working business model are just a couple of them.

Before investing, one should understand first what the project is all about. You shouldn't just invest just because the project promised high profit in the end of the tunnel because there is even no guarantee that there is an "end" in the tunnel of the project. Also, confirm the identity or authenticity of the dev team and the ceo or the project team itself. Lastly and most importantly, if the offer is too good and too unrealistic, that is your cue to get away from that project.

Even if you make a review about a project and their team it is hard to tell which project is legitimate or not. Or even if legitimate most project dont survive that long since investors had lost their fate in supporting and investing in new projects. There had been a lot of scam ICO and a lot of investors lost a lot of money. That is why ICOs are doomed to fail.

People complain that the altam scam situation is normal and very basic. But, in dealing with situations like this, what you say is appropriate, which is to protect yourself if you do not want to lose money. I add, that is, if you want to invest in altcoin, look at altcoin, where people's trust in it is strong.

yes I know what you mean because I also realize that in the crypto market industry there is no full guarantee for you and it is very risky in every option we will make in this industry. and it might be true that luck will determine our destiny here.

Yes, you are absolutely right, but I can make you happy, as many authorities have already begun to regulate ICO requirements. Over time, as I think you have already noticed, they become smaller as fraudsters with their crooked scam can not enter the market.

While this is correct, just admitting that doesn't help with the attitude of new possible investors towards the cryptocurrency scene. Icos were unregulated, and some people don't get the price you have to pay going from the traditional markets to the free markets and now lot's of the people are asking for more regulations because they are afraid that we don't get adopted without public getting protected by regulations.

One of the ways to combat scams is IEO and trusting the judgement of the exchange, exchange might even protect their customers in a case of fraud. But that's just companies doing the jobs aimed for governments.
And it does take away the whole idea of doing icos decentralized via contracts.

Then there are just those people who don't understand the definition of the word scam or how the market works. To them, everything is a scam when they lose money. This is also one reason why people hear about the whole crypto scene being a scam.

No one likes to be scammed so don't fool your money around. Every investment has their respective risks and it is indeed not easy to find a legit project that has a great potential to grow in this industry. There are many good projects out there but very are becoming successful because the project team promised to much and the investors expected too much.

I agree, everyone has seen a lot of scams in the ICO market. But that's okay. This has always been the case in any new field that has ever been created. The market will cure itself, it is already clear that the number of ICO has decreased and the number of scammers too. I think that in the future the situation will improve even more.
I hope this market will find a solution to the current weak demand. even in IEO, there are still many project scams. not only on ICO, the new IEO is famous this year there are also many scams. there must be a new, better system to improve this market. because growing a new, stronger trust in crypto investment will be very difficult after many project scams.

Not scam maybe have lower price after listing, team ICO re working for building coin price back to normal and higher than ICO price, they need time for building step by step with buy back and open working with other platform to make their coin become popular.
i disagree more of them is real scam project some times after ICO they dont want to list there token in exchnage ending up to be no worth at all. listed but  in a low price thats still not good  for investors, how come they boought it llower price at ICO then after listing the more lower than ICO price .

Recently, the number of scams in the crypto world is increasing, and especially on the ICO's industry. We noticed so many fake projects without whitepapers, or with fake teams, and sadly many beginners invested and lost their money with such projects. That's why it is advised that you check carefully the project before investing.
they are new projects that want to cheat. I didn't get an investor. I don't think the new project will fool anyone. the problem is that most of them are scams and failed projects. we will distinguish them from project scams or fail. because there are projects that fail to get funds and there are projects that were created and deliberately to deceive people.

Yes you are right. The basic idea of crypto is its free to all. But if someone doing something wrong then we have to up our voice against them. Scammers are making this space dirty. Yes sour responsibility to stop this scams and scammers.
