In my opinion, many of the big mining facilities in China will probably just leave and move them to another country. It's way too profitable for them to just think "ok, well I guess we're done with that.".. There are other countries which they'll be able to setup shop in and the mining will continue. However, who knows what Musk "talked to North American miners" about specifically, and with proof-of-stake coming to Ethereum soon, we could see that start to become more popular as well..

Agree, it will be very costly to do that actions, also the news can be considered as a fud to make a market panic and have a crash later.
I dont believe any news right now, many traders too, they predict many institutions want to entry and paid the fud to buy bitcoin at cheaper price.
If you read the content of the article and not relying only on the title. You will understand that they will just stop the hosting the mining pool in China due to tightening of government there which is not FUD since its really happening and Huobi officially announced it too. Its up to the people on they will comprehend the effect of this news. China has been doing this many times to crypto industry in there country since this mining pool operators are not cooperating to Chinese government. I believe operators has some fault too in this scenario.
Its my bad not read the news clearly, but as long as if theres another mining pool operated on China, its not problem to Miners on China to have low lattency mining connection right?
I grant them right about doing such thing. Because China has cracked down on Bitcoin mining. And it doesn't have a bright future there also. It is better for miners to disperse to different countries.

Such a migration of miners will only benefit the entire cryptocurrency market. The current state of affairs, when such large BTC mining capacities are concentrated in the hands of Chinese miners, carries risks for the entire crypto community, because the value of other altcoins depends on the price of BTC.

Yes. It is possible that the current condition of crypto prices is due to issues developed by the Chinese authorities. It's something bad happening to crypto. But this is all a game of issues, both pump and dump.
It is still not confirmed untill i saw it truely moved from china. If wee see from other side, its good news that they moved it outside considering that china ban crypto and could possobly shut them down anytime. Miner shut down can cause the hashrate down. Usualy the price will goes down too when hashrate down.

It's exhausting to see such news that's being play on by these medias and they won't stop publishing it. It has been published for a day or two and soon, there's going to be the news about it again. Not just for the next days.But also for the next weeks to come even though it has been weeks that has past or months or even a year. Well, as for those mining operators, they're removing a huge chunk from the Chinese government and do you people think they'll just allow it to happen if it generates them sum of money?
They are right about leaving China. Because China didn't just ban cryptocurrencies they also cracked down on Bitcoin mining. Therefore, there is no meaning for miners to stay there longer.

That could really be threatening to their community but not in crypto. But no matter how strict is their government, people will find a way just to continue mining, and the fact that they are moving to other country, this means that China's campaign against crypto have no impact to the current trend. But I was seeing some negative impacts to the blockchain confirmation and possible long delays if the number of mining industry are decreasing. And we know how it was important.
But pools from China are still functioning mate, if this is true they would have stopped offering services already, I think this is a prediction of what may happen in near future but not presently

Its good for the miners but do they actually move?I doubt it so because China is one of the country with cheap electricity fee that is the reason why many miners are coming from that region.

I want to believe that Bitcoin mining is lucrative in the sense of profit generation from mining and if this is the case, are there no other countries with Greener energy generation that could involve in Bitcoin mining instead of all this concentration in china?I agree with @BitTraderCute view here
if really happen, for long-term goal it's good for crypto market. China as biggest miner in the world could not control of make fud anymore. we will really see decentralized market if miners spread around the world. market will be healthier than before and I see bullish trend stronger than before. we will see in couple weeks is it will really happen or not.
If crypto is the definition of Decentralization then, mining should be too and not a concentration which results to control.

This is a recycle news. Someone reading script and sharing it on social medias. Its same on what they did before creating fud just to let the prife go down and so they can buy their bags. I'm sure if they are done buying they will release another news that favor crypto now. Hence market will go up and they profited again. Easy money, for country who knows the game about trading. China is powerful they can do this and act like they are really against anyone but that only is a prank.
Is this move even viable? The advantage with China is that they have the cheapest electronics and (one of) the cheapest rates for electricity. In no other country you will get the same combination. Take the case of Russia, the electricity is cheap. But the hardware needs to be imported and that is not going to be cheap. If you take the case of Malaysia, it is the other way around. Electricity is expensive, but the hardware is cheap. The mining farms may move to other countries, but it will be difficult for them to remain profitable.
I heard that China so far banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, not so sure if this is true or not. One thing for sure I know is that

It's really great news for bitcoiners that miners are moving out from there because drama of china ban news won't have any effect on the mining hashrate or crypto industry like previous as China did this many times when bull run is going on. Not only this, many mining farms are looking forward to use more green engery or renewable engry so that it won't effect our environment which is the best for us, IMHO.
it looks like the news is being repeated as if back in 2017 the Chinese government banned crypto as a result of which the most mining has been in China until now. It is only a matter of time whether crypto in China will be deleted for as long as possible.
