I have seen statistics on ICO deaths this year, which indicates that more than 80% of ICO deaths have been reported so far this year, 95% of which are fraudulent!

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

i invest for both long and short  Grin for those new ico project maybe just buy some and review first, btc for sure is long term

Most of the abandoned projects are dead but yes, some of them are (not) actually dead if there were a community which still runs until today. The best reason for why a project can be dead is their developer scammed the investors, all of their social media are gone immediately after the ICO ends.
In many cases it was simple way to take money from trustful investors. Lack of knowledge and rules in this area are the reasons of many fraudulent ICO’s. Now people are afraid of ICOs and that’s why crypto’s going down.
I will agree with you on this. The investors are always the ones who get burnt the most as their funds gets trapped one so many scam or failed projects. Most times the ICOs are smart that they do everything possible to appear to be good and of high quality. But in all I will say people are a lot more wiser now than when the ICO surge was everywhere.

Markets also dead .. wait for the recovery.. hope 2019 is the year of crypto
it may be a year of cryptocurrency but far from a fact that it will be positive year))) but we all believe that it will be a successful year because many important events are scheduled for this year

Most likely you are right. Indeed, many projects launched at the beginning of this year show no signs of life. Be careful when investing next time.

Projects are actively developing new products. Do not rush to bury Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I believe that we will see strong growth in the next few years.

The presence of a large number of dead projects whose tokens either do not trade anywhere, or they are not worth the money for which they were sold to investors - is a very sad fact, but despite this this situation is acceptable first of all because this is the essence of natural selection and competition between projects . In this market those projects that are most adapted to the situation survive.

I talked about this back in 2017 and it was worth expecting as many projects gave nothing to the market and just entrenched each other

Yes many projects are dead and the ressons are so uncountable but  a few could be reasons of not meeting their hard cap or maybe it was a scam or less investor in the project there is so much from it

Quite a lot of projects have already died, and a lot of projects will die, since many of them are just made to make money quickly.

Many projects have simply not started to be active. They believed that the growth would last at least six months longer, but as soon as it stopped... money sharply have guys disappeared.

This year is a bad year for many projects because they are no where to be found, only the best project can still find there way out to survive when the market will return... The fall of bitcoin and ethereum has caused many damages to cryptos world.

The usual natural selection occurs, those crypto projects that the team does not do anything and do not plan to do gradually die, and will cease to exist at all.

In my opion it is really for sure you to check first design of website project that you are interested for investing. And then try to look for its plan-like roadmap and whitepaper. From then you can see stability from community its activity also. Many are scams but when you follow this rules of work you will be asure to invest in it.

Most of the projects were just scams, or very badly prepared, and so they inevitably died.
Unfortunately, with the collapse of Ethereum, even many good projects have run aground. We hope it will recover a bit.

I think that most projects die because these projects are not of very high quality. Only the strongest projects remain.
