sorry thread I made a bit off the mark.
I am just confused with so many of her threads the same, eg "bitcoin price down" or "its falling bitcoin price" and still many others its.
the thread is different writing but its meaning is the same, still it-that's all. what before making threads they never see first thread before? what kind of things can be called spamer?
there is little benefit I get if all threads like that. Cry Cry Cry

Well  I try to suggest that, when such post is/are recognize in the forum you should take an immediate effect by deleting those duplicate post/thread. If possible you should put things in place where the system  would not allow one to post thread which look the same.

I'm already finish posting the same as you, you can look here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.31030343
That is a good concern and I realized from your post that each of us will encounter the same though so I think you can't avoid it. The recommendation of our community will be a guide for better forum environment.

Ps: You can saw a good recommendation under my post so just read it  Smiley

There is no benefits posting in the same thread because the comments is almost the same in the old thread, and that is the reasons why there are some deleted post and other are asking why it was happen because moderator clean the redundant thread and they do not want to make member post spam comment with the same topic.

This thread that you've started also appered already actually. The forum is really full of topics which copy each other, but I think such threads about bitcoin's price changing are not goin to Archieve directly only cause of each of them belong to concrete raise or fall. I just do not have another explainment of why they appear over and over again.
cause they come again and again are:
* lack of monitoring.
* habits will be unimportant.
* rarely read before creating threads or posts.
I will help the moderator, if I find the bad luck or spam I will report it, so that they (spammers) can not hang around again in this forum.

It's because most of them are based on emotion and wishful thinking. Very few seem to be based on factual information.

I think this happens because the forum is misused. People don't stop to read or use the search engine. They just look for a quick response. Before creating a new thread, they should search if a similar one already exists. This would not duplicate the information. Misuse disperses a lot of information and makes it unhelpful.

I'm thinking some words or phrases should be outright banned during account creation. For example, if the site detects that a user used the words "bitcoin price down" in that order in the subject, the site should not allow that thread to be created; we don't need the same thread for the millionth time. I think this is an efficient way of combating such threads.

I know of some forums that use bots. Theymos could implement a bot that could detect these kinds of posts. It would take a massive workload off of the moderators.

Although like I mentioned above, most of these posts are in off topic so you can just ignore them.

Having bots like that would be useful. I don't know much about how those bots work, but I guess there is no bad sides? It would not load forum and slow it down right, or compromise personal things? Because that would be bad. Also, most of people can ignore off-topic, but there is a lot of shit topics in other threads as well. People should be a penalty for making shit topic. That would lower the numbers too.

Super-hard work for Mod, totally agree. We can see many "Shit Topic" in Local boards.
I will use Bahasa Board because my native languange is Bahasa.
In Bahasa, you can see many Newbie and Jr. Member just spamming and do shitposting.

Eliminating shit topics and shitposts is hard job, and I guess its even harder in local thread. That is one more reason why we need to help mods in cleaning this forum. People should learn how to report things and people who broke forum regulations.

And, Mod really work hard to eliminate "Shit Topic", but it will come more and more.

I believe that in time shitposts and shit topics will be brought down to a minimum. New ranking system with our help will make that happen. That is why I believe that there will be less and less problems like this. When those shitposters realize there is nothing more for them here, they will leave... or improve their posts and topics.

Most of those kinds of posts are just to get activity up for accounts. They don't require any thought and are just spammy opinions that say the same thing over and over again. They are basically copy/pastes.
Most of them are in off topic, so I would suggest you don't visit that board.

I'm constantly suggesting that some of the threads get merged to reduce the clutter.
Yeah, how about merging them all in the trashcan.   A lot of similar threads are just shitposters trying to get merit these days, but this has been an ongoing problem for a long time.

Look at the Speculation section and tell me how many threads you think should exist--not many IMO.  Probably 75% are just worthless.

Bitcoin Discussion?  That section has many similar threads and it's a spammer's dream.

Then when they get banned or don't rank up in two weeks, they pollute Meta with threads that get bumrushed by even more shitposters...it never ends.

OP here is going on ignore for not being able to write proper English.

I honestly feel sorry for them, why they always make the existing thread.
they should be able to set this forum at will, not add to the chaos.
they look at a loss should do what. awareness to be better should already exist in themselves, the existence of such a smerit system to improve the quality of posts, not to be monotonous.
it just looks wasted time alone, even other users say, that sort of thing is spam.

oh yeah, I want to know, am I making the wrong thread like this? if wrong i will lock it.  Smiley

Let's try to help Mod's so they can easily see shit posters especially those who are making FUD news in forum that make decreasing the price of bitcoin. Report to moderator to easy modify the shit poster and spammer in Mod, because they are just abusing those section that flood of shit post just like Bitcoin discussion, Economics and Trading discussion or Local boards they are just a few of doing that. I also see many times over and over again repeated questions thread in Bitcoin discussion, it's better to delete those threads after they're warning them to stop repeating or banned them in 7 days as a first offense warning.

1. Find out which one is the older one
2. Report the latest one.

The mods actually fight against this sort of thing pretty heavily, believe it or not. I ~
Newbies used to do this to farm activity, but now they are flailing around with a newfound passion due to the merit system. They believe if they hide their merit farming in deep mega-threads full of spam that nobody will catch onto them.

The mods actually fight against this sort of thing pretty heavily, believe it or not. I know it appears that you're being swamped with these kinds of threads, but there are hundreds of these threads that have been trashed/deleted by mods once they are deemed spam. A lot of mods have their own criteria for closing threads, some are perfectly willing to close a thread if the discussion can be considered closed or the question considered answered.

The amount of "Thank you" posts, "Bitcoin, up or down?" threads that get deleted on the daily are alarming. Newbies used to do this to farm activity, but now they are flailing around with a newfound passion due to the merit system. They believe if they hide their merit farming in deep mega-threads full of spam that nobody will catch onto them. It's unfortunate that we have to dig through these type of threads to get to anything worth replying to, but we've been taking steps in the right direction to minimize this kind of nonsense. If you see a recent post that is completely spam, you can report it and it will be deleted; this helps bury these kind of threads, because very often every single recent reply is spam and therefore it gets sent back multiple pages until it dissipates.

I don't have merit, or I would +1 Jet Cash's post, just merge the threads that are identical in their content. Better 1-thread with thousands of pages than thousands of the same thread drowning a board.
