My main disturbance is the margin and funds view on top, I am using a lot of pair windows at the same time,
When the decimal point for funds are 6 or more digits and it steals all the area from pair window tabs,
I will be more happy if top side is reserved only for pair window tabs,
another compact view for margin and fund tables elsewhere,

Hi drnkk,

I hope you like the new collapsable funds and margin info tabs!!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I am using 2x30inch monitors, but i know what you mean. I also would love to see the total amount of BTC of all wallets together.
If you use poloinex than you can check the estimated total value in BTC on your balance page at all times.

No need for an extra feature like that on the bot if you ask me. Simple tasks should be manually doable, the hard complex parts or constant buying and selling should be done by the bot. Also can we run this bot on a vps like digital ocean or something?

Uhm, i am using leonArdo, so i don't have to login anymore on Polo lol. Why should i use Polo again if i have leoArdo? And don't decide for me what i want. I am capable enough to decide it for myself.

leonArdo version 3.3 released

  • Important stability issues relating to erroneous data being returned by Poloniex API
  • Collapsable fund and margin account info widgets - more space for currency tabs!
  • Fixed the very annoying "poloniex: error querying margin funds: json2::TypeError: asObject called on non Object" debug message
  • Bug fixes

This looks like a small release, but actually it required a huge effort from the team. As some of you also noticed Poloniex was experiencing difficulties over the last few weeks due to really high loads. This meant that orders got cancelled but the API sometimes said the cancel failed. Or a placed order went through but the API said it didn't. This could result in the bot placing a double order. There were many more issues we had to solve which meant some thousand new lines of code had to be written. We hope that we have caught everything now, but stay vigilant and let us know if you encounter anything strange.

How can you get your copy?

If you are an existing customer you can simply click on the "update available" link on the leonArdo login screen and download this version.

Or if you are new just head over to website to check us out.
You can also download a demo version of leonArdo from the website to try before you buy.

I get used to interface very quickly, maybe I am using poloniex since begining,
orderbooks are below chart with two different tables side by side

but you should consider another layout options for leonardo,

like cryptowat.ch, bitcoinwisdom view.
Order books, on the right side of the chart as same column view,

sometimes layout difference is more important than functionality,
as the main first-sight impression, adaptation etc...

I want to learn the other users opinions about that
if I am the only one who is getting crazy of that thin arrows moving the pair window tabs Smiley

Best Regards

Thanks for your input. You can pull the chart down so that the order book disappears and then create a tools window with the order book and place it wherever you want!

Check out the tools window video here: http://www.marginsoftware.de/tutorial.html

(It's the third video)

All the best,
Jonathan

no, i didn't make any profit as i just downloaded it to try a MACD backtest on 2H candles
and i just found myselft in a uncofonfortable view, and no 2H, and no MACD, and no Backtest,  in the demo version.

everytime i see something that looks odd on user interfaces happens to be programmed with Qt,
i still remember when i was trying to use a program called aMSN, i was so mad on its damn interface and slowness that i write them to ask
why the hell that happens, and they told me its because of Qt, thats the first time i ever heard on that name.
it kinda remembers me of JAVA, the super laggy programing lang i hated the most, Both are multiplatform.

still, there is no clear division of zones,
there is no depth on the buttons, its just all so flat and mimetic...

kinda remembers the UI of serial generator, trying to be insurgent on interfaces

the graph is strange to move, once used to bitcoinwisdom, looks like no one is able to match its friendly interaction and perfect contrast.
itsjust above anyother by far
I don’t know about the backend but looking at an interface and commenting UI regarding the success of a bot seems a bit weird.
Did you made any profits with it? Have you used it in regards to trading a coin and came out richer?

That is the point of a bot not how beatiful it is. I haven’t used it, I don’t know if I ever will but as long as it Works as intended than how it looks is not that important to me.

i tried leonardo demo version

not impressed to be honest,

1º i can't do backtesting in the demo version with macd, can i ?
2º there is no 2H in the time step of the graph
3º the design looked so nice in picture then after use it, everything is so confusing, such high lack of deph in windows and buttons, its like too flat,

what programing lang was used to make leonardo? looks so out of standards, also did not run in windows xp.

Windows xp??

You do know Microsoft stopped supporting XP some years ago.

leonArdo is a Qt application programmed from the ground up in C++.

If you make your background black, the colors really pop.

I agree with you, there should be something between 1 hour and 6 hours in the graph.

We can add a couple of other views. Remember the 1hr view contains 2 minute candles and the 30M view contains 1 minute candles.

We will add a toggle which lets you choose between the time window frame and the candle length.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

We like flat!

Sorry, I have to disagree with most everything you said.

Thanks for your input though.

We are always open to constructive criticism and happy to implement customer requests that align with our roadmap.

Yes, it has some limitations, but you can file your requests to them and they will try to implement it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the trading fee for Poloniex be .15%?

They have a maker/taker order system, where the makers are at .15% and the takers are at .25%

They explain it here:

Go Big or Go Home.....
Is this sort of the bot that takes a good trader to a great trader or is it a type of bot that newbies put their coins in it and let it run.

There are some bots out there who gives default strategies that even people who have no idea about coins can put their coins in and just let it run and there are bots out there who you have to put parameters and read the charts and expect coins go up or down and know whats going on (basically be a good trader), which one is this?

We have both types of customers.

A mix of bot and human is always best. So the more knowledgable you are the better.
So what do we do? Just pick a pair and select margin maker and let it run?
What are our responsbilities in this bot? Is there a default option where I just say trade BTC/ETH and just leave it running on some vps and just collect my winnings time to time?
Or do I have to know spesific stuff on reading charts like candles and ema1 or ema2 and so forth.

You really should learn at least the basics of trading, or you WILL lose your shirt...
