I think marinecoin has not been so well-known for now, so they are doing a strong promotion in various posts for now for their own sake, but on the current Marinecoin market capitalization is about 3 million USD, still cheap considering the new will be launched MTC + gold prize / commodity / stock options / potential use of future trading platforms.

Disclaimer: I have not invested on the new platform yet, though. Only bought coins previously from the f1cx exchange. But I've checked out the crypto options platform and it looks OK to be honest. Nothing sketchy yet.

Airdrop is over for now. Small sized airdrops may be restarted later. Project dev Bruce_Wayne had indicated the possibility. But no concrete word on that yet.

The new exchange platform looks great, I'm very bullish on the future here.
I think MarineCoin has to create new ideas to become more popular and known to investors as well as the world of Crypto coins because I also just recognize marinecoin, in order to become popular takes a long time and requires new innovations that will attract fans.

Coin as a coin, no different from the others, currently many of these coins are also nothing will be able to do in the future, and only some perfectly achieve their goal, though with great difficulty.
So much to say about this coin, as the coin is less useful, does not hurt to know something about yourself, and therefore not very popular, like coins a lot, and need to create something new.

I saw it shilled many a times in the subreddit ,visited the site a couple of times but never saw the use of the coin so never really bothered to join it .I hope it doesn't bite me in the back.
It's still early if your getting in now. It can be very hard to live with regret though, I know the feeling. It always pays to do a lot of research.

Depends. Those 450k MTC airdrop worth about $30 USD then, now it is about worth $300 USD. A few hundreds of bucks won't make any people rich. But

I have not understood and know marinecoin but I see marinecoin doing a vigorous promotion in various posts. and whether marinecoin can be a good coin in the future we might be able to study marinecoin and see the development of the coin.
