If everyone is talking about bitcoin now, then let them talk tomorrow and Mark thought about me too and released this message. I do not think that this has any deep meaning, but mentioning in the relevant media and public pages related to bitcoin, this "news" will surely flash. Although perhaps he just wanted to tell us all: "Hey, goats! Now I am also investing in bitcoin with you" or something like that.

These goats look young and cute. While the name's weird for a goat, I guess you know something's really popular when people start naming things after it. That post has 1 million reactions on Facebook, so it's also great publicity for Bitcoin. And by the way, I've looked through all of Mark's posts on Facebook from spring 2021 and haven't seen any post with so many reactions, so it worked out great for him too. The earliest post of his that became more popular than this one was in January, and it was about the Capitol incident. I don't think he means anything bad about Bitcoin, he's just feeling a bit like Elon Musk and wants to joke around about cryptos.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
This pops on my feed minutes posted, and I was laughing actually on the comments, but no big deal on how bitcoin and mark is related to. If facebook will invest/buy bitcoin then it would be more good news than making his own stable coin where the us authority gives hard time dealing such info and power.

What the heck! Mark has problem with crypto because his libra failed? Grin but I think we shouldn't see this in a negative way or perception. If he actually adores his goats, then naming them as Bitcoin is better than harm because it's showing that he loves Bitcoin Grin while if he is raising goat for slaughter later, that might be dangerous and would surely imply that he doesn't see Bitcoin in a positive way Grin just joking, am sure Mark is pro-bitcoin and himself holds a significant amount of it!

Interesting.
Can be an interesting to talk alot about Bitcoin without People or Alexa suspecting you are talking about the real one and get you reported to a tyrant.
*Listening "Alexa" asks, "you talk alot about Bitcoin thesedays, do you trade it"?
*Reply: I'm talking about my goat

I think he is frustrated that his Libra coin is not penetrating the market very well. so he finally decided to follow the upheaval of the bitcoin market and let go of his Libra ideals on the cutting edge.

Things don't work like that. Zucker could have integrated Bitcoin to Facebook and it could have been mutually beneficial for both the sides. But he had other things in mind. He wanted to steal the technology and hype from Bitcoin and wanted to use it for himself (if we believe the Winklevii, Zucker did the same thing back in 2003-04). Unfortunately for Zucker, this time his blatant plagiarism wasn't received well and he had to shelve his plans. My advice to him still stands. It is never late to become a Bitcoiner. Integration of Bitcoin in to Facebook can do wonders. All Zucker needs to do is to put his ego on a shelf.

I'm sure this is just a small joke. Maybe he subtly pokes fun at Elon who can't stop making his lame jokes and memes about Dogecoin. This is definitely not a sign that Facebook is about to buy BTC, don't get your hopes high.

The fact that people care so much about celebrities mentioning Bitcoin just shows how immature this market still is. Imagine if he named his goat "Gold" - would gold investors care about it?

Is this a sign that Facebook will start buying Bitcoin for their balance sheet?
I doubt it but let's see what will happen next.

IMO, as an SEC duly registered and a publicly listed Company Executive, might this is the best way to avoid being penalized by the government even doing things that might be against their regulation.   Like what the hell?  Surely Mark Zuckerberg is trying to pass a message to the public just like Elon Musk but in a less obvious way.

Mark Zuckerberg was supposedly joining the cryptocurrency but the U.S government stopped him from having a big partnership with the cryptocurrency founded in Belarus/Switzerland called Libra.  If that one came true, we could have been flying to the moon since 2019, isn't it?

Is he trolling for its just Elon Max that got publicity linked to cryptocurrency to the moon or he now wants to join the bandwagon?

We can only assume what he meant to that post but I'm guessing he is saying that Bitcoin isn't experiencing bull market nor bear but a goat market 😄
We can also assume that Mark Zuckerberg is like Elon Musk in which he is also trying to fool and make a hype on bitcoin by posting those pictures of his goat naming max and bitcoin and also due to this news the bitcoin hype will also increase especially that he is one of the most famous and successful human all over the world owning the number 1 social media platform which is the Facebook.

I dont think that Mark Zuckerberg has a big influence in terms of cryptocurrency, I dont think that the post of him can affect too much the value of bitcoin, I dont know as well what is his intention for that thing, is he already into cryptocurrency? or maybe just for entertainment? If true then for sure he is already holding too much value of bitcoin as he can afford to buy a huge amount of value of it.

A person like Mark Zuckerberg would not be a bandwagon, for me he has something good meaning about his post.

So one of the replies linked this:

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/24/mark-zuckerberg-once-killed-a-goat--and-served-it-to-jack-dorsey-.html

Obviously, Zuckerberg wants to kill Bitcoin lol. Kidding aside though, I won't even read into this. Bitcoin is a household name nowadays, and I wouldn't bat an eyelid if some random family named a random pet after it. Zuck doing it isn't weird at all (what's weird is him naming goats but whatever floats his boat lol).

Hm I believe there is more to your analysis than you yourself even think. He certainly remembers the killed goat he served to Jack Dorsey and wanted to create some buzz in the cryptocurrency community by calling the next goat Bitcoin. As he seems to be into killing goats himself and eating them, I am curios what his actual intentions ar. He isn't posting trash in the sense that he doesn't know what kind of discussion his posts create. Maybe Facebook cracked Bitcoin's algorithm. Wink

We should ask him when Max & Bitcoin will be prepared as dinner and who is invited this time. Maybe a couple of guys from the NSA.

Okay, but for what? Another reason for him to remind about his person?
That's right, probably another reason to get some more attention. It is not fair that only Elon Musk has been getting all that crypto publicity  Cheesy
No reason to post something like that if it wasn't for more attention...

I also believe Mark Zuckerberg did that just to get public attention, like Elon Musk did. But unfortunately some people are offended by Zuckerberg's
actions, because some people think Zuckerberg did it just jealous, because the Libra project he created failed. Whatever Zuckerberg's reasons,
there's nothing to worry about, because Zuckerberg is not a crypto influencer who can influence the crypto market price. So let's just say that
what Zuckerberg did was a joke.

I think that is a mere publicity stunt going in there on the page as many responses are calling out many altcoins too. Mark may seriously be looking at the public attention like musk has hyped dogecoin so well . I don't really think that tweet can push bitcoin price.

It seems Mark is missing the limelight from a long time. Especially after his dream project Libra failed to take off, he has become very silent about the crypto matters. No wonder he wants to make fun of bitcoin through naming his goat. No need to take it seriously. It could very well be a mockery considering he failed in his crypto project and there hope of it in near future.

So Zukerburg still wants to kill bitcoin with his own coin offering am I right? Undecided
This is just because his initial two previous attempts failed so now he is going at it in a video gamey type way with the name.

I don't think he is as popular as once he was in a good meaning of the word popular.I think he has not the carisma of Elon Musk and the price is not moving at all. This post of him naming his goats Max and Bitcoin will fade away without being any sort of threat to Bitcoin. The king of the cryptos I think will be untouchable for times to come.Just Hodl and relax,in the end we will be the winners.
