I find facebook likes improves downloads on our software products by 20% and the android apps give alot of kick.
Sad but true. I know from personal experience, you can't sell novels on Amazon without having some buddies (or using a service like this) cough up reviews for it. Nobody buys it otherwise. They don't even come close to buying without those reviews to glance over. And if nobody buys, you never get reviews--a vicious cycle of empty wallets

Intended or not, that is the way social media works now. It's fake, and if you want to compete with the big boys you buy reviews or followers.
