The cryptocurrency market witnessed the highest market capitalization last year and the market has shed more than halve of it away this year. At this juncture, we need new money before we can experience an all inclusive bull run again and I don't think it will happen this year.

Market cap is a market cap. What I mean is this, even it cross to 250 Billion we doesn't have any business for that, why? Because it is just a total money that disbursed in many people and groups. It would be good if it will touch 400Billion. Grin

I am absolutely sure that the market capitalization will fall below than $ 100B by the end of May 2019. I think that by that time Bitcoin will crash under $ 2K. So then I expect that after such hard correction in the second half of the next year the recovery will begin.

I do not think that anything untoward will occur if the market cap of all crypto drops below $200 billion we are still in a Bear market although the general direction of things is sideways and not continually down. 2018 is likely to turn out to be a year of consolidation and shaking out the weak investors, other shrewd people are taking advantage of these depressed prices and opening new positions that will increase greatly when the next Bull phase begins.

Its sad to see market cap value drop to $200billion after reach more than $700billions. Its more than 70% and thats why most coin in market drop the price. But i do believe market cap value will reach highest again in near future because many good news will come to market.

Market capilizalization is one of the basis for determining the price of a particular cryptocurrency , so if it will goes down , maybe the prices of that particular coin wll also goes down, It depend also to the supply and demand .

You are not really thinking this deep enough, there is new investments coming into this market but new investors are very smart, they are entering the market without trying to bring too much attention to themselves because if they did then the price of all the coins will go up if people knew that they were entering this market, they are doing this so they can buy as many coins as possible for cheap prices, once that accumulation of coins has taken place then they would let everyone know that they are in the market.

And when that happens people are going to get positive again about the future of this market and suddenly new money will begin to move into this market and it will begin to go up but it is a process that is going to take years so if I were you I will not let my hopes to be that high because you're going to get disappointed.

Nothing much will happen. There will be another decline in the price of crypto currency and nothing more. The market is in a downward trend, because investors withdraw their money, losing faith in the crypto currency. Next year the situation will change for the better!
