From my understanding, you're not buying directly from Purse.io itself. You are dealing with other individuals and the reason why It's cheap is because these people got probably balance/gift cards from friends, relatives, or they earned them or something so they sell them at a low price just like you can find cheap gift cards in Paxful for example.

You could buy from amazon.com howbeit indirectly using purse.io, or buying gift cards from gyft.com. There are not much marketplace that had bitcoin direct payment.

I believe that Bitcoin can buy most of the things you want to buy, no matter what it is, you just have to find a legit site where you can buy what you need. Except for purse.io and gyft, I have not really seen anyone. That's a fact now that there are too many merchants that are accepting bitcoin now. The demand is increasing due to the marketplaces who are adopting bitcoin where holders can spend their bitcoin for goods that they want.

Already there are many sites started accepts bitcoin and bitcoin API directly from the payment service providers such as Coingate, Bitpay and etc... There are sites such as Amazon, purse.io and paypal.
In these sites purse alone being working on e-commerce site work for more than 2 years in the market.
Paypal is announces that they gonna start integrate the payment processor with the cryptos bro.
