I wonder how did the hacker hack those accounts, and also we know that the twitter security is very questionable now.
We should doubting anyone who give too good to be true promises like that, so we won't easily scammed by people.

I did encountered it several times but I don't pay attention to it. Anything that is too good to be true always ends up as a scam scheme. Only greedy and naive people fall into this kind of trap. Besides those twitter account had their official website where everyone can verify if the twitter message is legit or not even though it is coming from the official twitter account of the said company.

So any take on how did the hackers get through Twitter's security wall? Is it because Twitter allowed their employees to work from home and maybe their personal computer got compromised from there? You know how much difference between workplace computer with all the IT department monitor and set up firewalls compare to just a home computer.
There are several reasons surrounding it, but one was actually the real cause and the victim of the hack could be just a staff. If this should continue to happen to the centralized social media platforms, then almost the whole world is not safe. This means that the twitter account of the president of a whole nation is not safe. THey could have just started exchanges for now, because that is where to get their quick loot.

We often join various platforms using Twitter accounts. In my opinion, this is the basic source that makes Twitter accounts hacked by certain parties.

This is a really big hack, a verified account and has a large following hacked by the same person or group. This also made me suspicious of people on Twitter. But this incident really made a lot of people suffer losses, of course many would be interested if Bill Gates and other hacked accounts make tweets that can double the money with a system like that. The last few days, many personal twitter accounts of world famous person like Bill Gate, hacked as well as many crypto twitter account (binance, Kucoin, Tron, coinbase etc) hacked. Hackers hacked and posted crypto giveway tweets which is rediculas. Nobody believed that kind of tweets like- Bill Gate will not post about Bitcoin giveway.

Thats what you called phishing sites and the links usually used by hackers because i am once a victim of that clickbaits.Now i know how to deal with them and prevent myself from clicking links sent by usually newbies and hacked accounts.
Yeah it has been circulating around and many articles have already been written about it. Justin DuSun of Tron has already offered $1mnl to who ever would be able to track down the hackers. It is a big blow not only on twitter, and crypto community but other business ventures as well.
There are 4 threads that i cross just within an hour about this twitter issue.And yeah all the victims are popular and prominent people that can easily be used to gather crypto as donors.

I don't know for sure what the cause is but from some information from other forums saying that there is someone who has a friend who works at the company and hacks but I don't know the details. But there are also those who say that employees of these companies sell data to someone, and in my opinion this is very logical. From this case I learned also about the types of malware that might be able to do that and the method.

We must be careful to click any links because that is not guaranteed to feel safe from the hackers. There will be other things that the hackers will search for the next target because they can explore the bug to find the benefits for them, and they are smart enough to see the other bug. Although I agree on twitter's fault to let such a vulnerable on their system but still, why would anyone still gullible and fall for a scam like that?
Until whenever there will still be many people trapped by the same thing because human weakness is money. I think reading a lot and hanging out a lot will make us have knowledge about this. Many people still close their eyes and do whatever they want, so they often get caught up in similar scams. Sad reality

Although it's because some people are too gredy to earn fast money but the fact that the twitter comes from official account that got hacked makes this case different than usual.
Hackers is outsmarting them, they are now using Monero to hide their tracks. So it will be very difficult to trace them, and they could have cash it out by now, for all we know.
As for the greediness, it's human nature, you really need to really used our common sense. Even if it comes from official account, you should question, how come suddenly those people are giving free money? Doesn't make sense right?

Many investors have trusted and this makes them lose a lot of money. In just a few hours the hacker group has earned over 12 BTC and this is a huge number. I think it's best to never trust games like this because it's definitely a scam and now that BTC address will definitely be blocked by all major exchanges and won't be usable. However, stolen people will never be able to take it back and this is a lesson they should avoid when participating in this market.

it was rumored that the hacker was able to access one of the twitter admin account control panel after his account got hacked. the method on how the attack was made is still unknown. possibly using an Email scams in which the admin failed for it. we awaits for more news on that issue. it is a surprise that people still fall for such scam.
This looks more like it because it was surprised at how possible that could be. The accounts in question here are big accounts of big people in the crypto space. Well, we are just seeing these names because they are the ones that concern us most in the space we are in. I am sure that there are so many other accounts that would have been hacked.

Billgate's account was also getting hacked by kirk. As far as I know, if the hacker named kirk was the main party who has been hijacking the internal software of twitter and then they were changed the email of the hacked accounts for with his email.
