Our company was removed from the list because we do not pay affiliates commissions in crypto. Paypal, or bank transfer only. Smiley

Unreliable source.

I checked an old archive[1] and it seems you're true. Although AFAIK there's no more complete list than this website, which makes it still reliable for many people.

The ProtonVPN listing is out of date. Now it has locations in 89 countries which I've counted myself in my (premium) ProtonVPN app. That's not including the number of cities inside all those countries.

But it's a bit weird the website was last updated today. You probably want to let owner of the website know through email listed on it's website.

Here we GO! After this post, we got listed again and after communication by tickets, we got delisted again, as we do not pay affiliates by crypto.

Confirmation: This source is no longer reliable, as everything depends on affiliate money.

Privacy policy/Disclaimers: This website doesn't use cookies. It does log IP addresses (so use Tor Browser). It sometimes uses affiliate links.

Today i checked the website again and now it's back online. Apparently the list has been updated yesterday (08 February 2022) and now there's rectangle box (on right side of the page) for easier navigation. There's still no contact option beside email which use their own domain though.

They did conclude, however, that:

However, for developers and business owners, BitLaunch can provide a great value for money and keep their privacy intact throughout the process, which is a rare commodity in this day and age.
Since your question regarding the pricing and specification/type of VPS they offered was still standing, I decided to create a dummy account to explore within. When you want to create a server you are presented with a wide array of options:

--snip--

As an aside, you are only able to "launch" the VPS if you fund your account with money - which, as far as I'm aware, is only possible by either using Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin.

Thanks for your effort, i appreciate it. But it's almost 3 times of original, no wonder they require you to sign up to see the spec/price. There's better alternative such as SporeStack (https://sporestack.com) which is accountless and cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion, but is it legit? I can't even find price and specification/type of offered VPS.
Interestingly enough, it seems that TechRadar posted a review[1] of the service one year ago yesterday (25/01/2021). They gave it 3.5/5 stars stating that things like no shared hosting, no money-back guarantee or having not enough self-help options were preventing a higher score. They did conclude, however, that:

I was about to recommend https://bitcoin-vps.com to a friend, but i couldn't access the website. Does anyone know whether the website currently down or was intentionally shut down?
I can't access their website and I have no idea what's the reason behind. Maybe they have some communication channels on social media where you can ask them or they announced something?
I did a little bit of research on the website and while I wasn't to able to find any meaningful information I found at least partial information regarding it. If we use the last archived snapshot[1] within WayBackMachine - 26th of November 2021 - we see two things:

  • The last recorded updated was on 23th of November 2021 - This hasn't been too long ago and most probably your friend could use the archived snapshot as a guide still @LTU_btc. Be aware that most links do not work since they seem to redirect using a affiliate code and the bitcoin-vps.com domain (which is not working);
  • Recommendations could be sent over to: [email protected];
  • The list was inspired by one that was originally posted by joepie91 - you can check it out here[2] - (last updated 14th of January (2017))

If we make a search regarding the e-mail being shared the only relevant lead that I found was a Reddit post[3] from some user promoting the website (I initially thought that it was the creator but a quick look at his profile[4] doesn't make me believe on that). If we use tools such as Whois Lookup[5] we get the following result regarding the domain:
Code:
Created on 2019-08-09
Expires on 2023-08-09
Updated on 2021-12-06
Whoever is running it just updated it on 12/06/2021 and it will live at least until middle of 2023. Probably whoever did this website doesn't want to be discovered - if we use SiteReport to analyze some more data about the domain we get this "interesting" e-mail in the DNS admin field:
Code:
So my guess is that probably the website will be back, but I'm honestly taking a shot here - I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed for that. As for alternatives I always recommend the DeBitpay Directory[7] since not only they show services that accept cryptocurrencies as a payment option, all of them do not use BitPay (anti-Bitcoin service[8]) as a payment processor. As an additional option for VPS providers, let me suggest BitLaunch[9] - you'll be able to launch VPS servers from providers such as DigitalOcean, Vultr, and Linode by using cryptocurrencies. Also, they run their own payment processor - BLPay[10] - so another win for privacy!

As another option for VPS providers, I also found references to the service provided by SteadyTurtle[12] which seems like to have a long history in the forum as well - dated back up until 2015 at least.

PS: BitLaunch also has a profile[11]on bitcointalk although it seems that it isn't very active here ...

Offering a VPS when they can't even make a decent website. They didn't even edit their testimonials and all rights reserved but this website is most likely yours, nice try.
Such things just don't look professional and you can't look at such websites seriously.

You can add PureVPN and TunnelBear. I've tried both and they both accept Bitcoin payments and do not keep or share logs of your connection.

They are both fine and have plenty of servers to choose from especially in Europe. I prefer to use a nearby location because it's faster. Smiley

Can you update the interface to enable better search and price options? Also, there are good offers for discounts, can you make a list of possible discounts.

Please remove cyberghostvpn from that list. Read more ---> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53196238

We 're working on it.

"this changes from time to time and the website is mostly about web hosting providers not vpns... you should look at a VPN review site for specific info. ExpressVPN is known to make it hard for people to tell that you're using a VPN so maybe use that one?"

Can anyone point out what VPN service in that list (or any VPN you knoe that accepts BTC) can bypass Netflix's IP restriction? I know that Googling it can give me some results but I would like to here it from the members here just to give me some clarity and of course a peace of min so I won't be wasting my BTC on some VPN that can't even bypass Netflix. I would also prefer a VPN that also has an app for an android device.

Send updates or additions to: updates at bitcoin-vps dot com

Make sure to include server and company locations. If they use BitPay please flag this (and tell them to use BTCPayServer instead). Additional notes (what level of anonymity is allowed at signup, etc) are welcome. Particularly interested in hosts that take Lightning payments.

Wow, it's huge list. Does all these VPN providers really accept Bitcoin? If yes, it's really amazing.
But is it all of these services are safe to use and there is no possible privacy issues, like some VPN's logging their customers activity and something similiar. I heard that some services providers even sell collected data about their customers...
